more like we arent getting involved with this because then the WHO will claim we need to restart our funding and the other countries will expect us to pay most of it.

Cures and vaccines are not in any way, shape, or form dependent on the WHO. You've just internalized that WHO = good because Trump doesn't like them. After the way they treated Taiwan that's undeniable.

I am all for losing our standing and reputation in the world if that means we dont have to pay for everything anymore. Its just a phrase to shame us into paying for everything the world needs.

You can always do everything by yourself if that's how you choose to live. There's no problem with that. Just don't expect anyone else to help you when you're in a situation where you can't do everything by yourself.
And "the USA pays for everything and never gets anything in return!!!!" is a tired falsehood peddled by lowlife politicians to stir up an exploitation complex in their voters. But in the end, the only thing you're being exploited by... Is actually those politicians.

Of course this part is missing from the attention-grabbing headline. Why exactly should the US take part in an initiative started by the CCP-dominated WHO? The article writer is too obsessed with Bush-bashing to address that.
The country has dealt best with the Corona problem is Taiwan, which is not part of the WHO, whose existance is denied by the WHO, and which has ignored the dangerous wrong advice by the WHO.
Is the article writer also bemoaning that Taiwan does not take part in this WHO initiative?

What does Bush have to do with any of this?
Please explain to us with facts and numbers how ignoring the WHO's advice (what advice exactly?) helped Taiwan deal with this crisis (and if it's really more important than the fact that they were well prepared after the MERS pandemic and also the fact that it's a small island).
Wait a second, I though Trump was great because he wasn't a politician and he always said what's on his minde? Now you're defending him by praising him as a (hypocritical) politician? That doesn't make a lot of sense.
Also, no other president in the world has wished Kim Jong Un well. Do you remember George Bush or his son ever wishing Saddam Hussein well? Do those facts tell you anything?
