Love this. Will only serve to make a Trump victory in 2020 even more likely! Suck it up haters!

he also said that the investigation did not exonerate the president, either.

NB did NOT exonerate

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said in Washington that "we will make very clear to them that this is not acceptable behavior."

In other words the Trump admin will do nothing. Neo-con Pompeo is like Trump: he lies. Google (or Yandex) "Pompeo lies".

Love this. Will only serve to make a Trump victory in 2020 even more likely! Suck it up haters!

Typical trump backer response, no reasoning, just emotions and slogans.

I just do not understand what the 37 percent see in him.

12 ( +17 / -5 )

The Dems are out for blood. Despicable.

Trump poll numbers drop

They didn't ask me. This poll reflects all the negative media coverage of Trump.

-15 ( +5 / -20 )

My favorite part is where he asked the White House Council, Don McGahn, to fire Mueller. McGahn refused. The NT Times got wind of it and printed an article about it, so Trump asked McGhan to lie for him.

I mean really.....the president asking the White House lawyer to lie for him about his attempts to obstruct justice? It's like Trump is from another planet or something.

And of course you have Sarah Sanders. Trump asked her to reach out to McGahn requesting that he lie about the President's obstruction as well. He refused again. And Sarah admitted she lied about the FBI not supporting Comey.

And yes, she is still employed as the Press Secretary, speaking for the President of the United States.

NB did NOT exonerate

He was found as well as his family to not to conspire or collude with any foreign operatives including Russia.

In other words the Trump admin will do nothing. Neo-con Pompeo is like Trump: he lies. Google (or Yandex) "Pompeo lies".

Ok and?

Typical trump backer response, no reasoning, just emotions and slogans.

No you know how so many of us felt the last 8 years.

-8 ( +5 / -13 )

My favorite part is where he asked the White House Council, Don McGahn, to fire Mueller. McGahn refused. The NT Times got wind of it and printed an article about it, so Trump asked McGhan to lie for him.

And he didn’t though, so that book is closed.

I mean really.....the president asking the White House lawyer to lie for him about his attempts to obstruct justice? It's like Trump is from another planet or something.

I’m sure Eric Holder has a lot of experience with that as (as he called it, the Presidents wingman) well.

And of course you have Sarah Sanders. Trump asked her to reach out to McGahn requesting that he lie about the President's obstruction as well. He refused again. And Sarah admitted she lied about the FBI not supporting Comey.

Apparently, not enough to charge or indict her. I remember when Susan Rice was asked to lie or Robert Gibbs, this is not new to any administration. Not saying lying is good, but show me a President that didn’t lie about something, try and watch the argument get shot down.

And yes, she is still employed as the Press Secretary, speaking for the President of the United States.

Gibbs was as well.

-10 ( +2 / -12 )

@bas4 Ok and?

No you know how so many of us felt the last 8 years.

In other words you cannot come up with a reason to defend Trump and are admitting he (and Pompeo) lies. And you're equating trump with his predecessor, a man you have long attacked. So many GoTrumpers have said they want Trump to undermine US systems, and now they're even trying to undermine Trump himself.

8 ( +11 / -3 )

Expect to see a Republican in the WH for the next 14 year, at least. In 2020 Trump will pick Susana Martinez (ex-Governor of New Mexico as his VP) and that will definitely be GAME OVER for the Democrats. Oh wait, the Dems have Pete Buttigieg who endorsed the Green New Deal which means he'll have to go vegan -- that's going to be tough for him!

-5 ( +4 / -9 )

In other words you cannot come up with a reason to defend Trump and are admitting he (and Pompeo) lies.

I don’t need to defend him, I’m saying every President lied. Funny, during the entire Benghazi crisis the entire WH lied up and down, but that wasn’t bad when you had Clinton, Rice and others lied that a Coptic Christian making an anti-Muslim video was the catalyst for the attack which it wasn’t, there was so much lying and scrambling going on because it was also an election year that the WH needed to make sure that it was scandal free going in.

Again, it was all bad, the optics of it, never any accountability for it, but there is your classic example of lying.

And you're equating trump with his predecessor, a man you have long attacked. *

Yes, not without reason.

So many GoTrumpers have said they want Trump to undermine US systems, and now they're even trying to undermine Trump himself.

Many Liberals said they want and are doing whatever they can to undermine the US system as well as the President and his agenda.

The missing of the point is deep here. It's not about whether Trump is guilty of obstruction....which he probably is....but even if he's not....his behavior proves beyond any doubt that he should never have been president. The fact that millions still support him despite his behavior is the largest embarrassment to this country in my lifetime.

5 ( +9 / -4 )

Democrats just never know when to quit! It's hilarious watching their pathetic attempts at trying to destroy the POTUS!

-6 ( +4 / -10 )

Poll of 1004 people “online”. Yeah that’s credible.

-7 ( +4 / -11 )

The missing of the point is deep here. It's not about whether Trump is guilty of obstruction....which he probably is...

How would you know? Mueller said, No.

but even if he's not....his behavior proves beyond any doubt that he should never have been president.

I felt Many people in the previous administration should never have been in office....really!

The fact that millions still support him despite his behavior is the largest embarrassment to this country in my lifetime.

Maybe they’re on to something that the haters will never get. The Dems didn’t get it in 2010, 2014, 2016 and even now as to why the President is so popular.

https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/436356-trump-approval-rating-holds-steady-in-post-mueller-poll

-8 ( +2 / -10 )

Mueller did not establish that the Trump campaign coordinated with Russians but did find “multiple acts by the President that were capable of exerting undue influence over law enforcement investigations.”

In other words, never-Trump Mueller and the 12 Clinton associated attorneys he hired to help him get Trump struck out. So they wrote up a report that was intended to make it seem like their was collusion even though they were unable to charge anyone related to Trump or his 2016 campaign with any Russia related crimes whatsoever.

Meanwhile Hillary Clinton’s and the DNC’s payments for Russian disinformation used to cause dissection and political chaos has still been left uninvestigated. So Clinton gets away with violating the Espionage Act and Trump gets tainted by a crime that only happened in the minds her acolytes.

-10 ( +2 / -12 )

The Mueller Report at least reveals (as if we didn't already know) that Trump and his retinue of flunkies are congenital liars who have unashamedly attempted to defame and assassinate the character of one of their own, Trump's erstwhile, part-time consigliere, Michael Cohen, as a self-confessed, indicted liar. Now after the publication of the Mueller Report nobody can pretend that the moral caliber of the Trump Administration is any superior to that of indicted felon, Cohen. The only difference is that Cohen confessed, was found guilty and will spend time in the slammer. Justice can only be served if Trump and his gang of mendacious malefactors all depart tout de suite to keep Cohen company. After the prissy Dems have read and digested Mueller's veiled incriminatory findings they need to stop their dithering and deal the knockout blow to the rotten edifice of Trumpism and excise the malignant orange tumor on the presidency.

8 ( +11 / -3 )

 has still been left uninvestigated.

Why hasn't Trump had anything done about your allegation? Trump runs the DOJ; his appointees do his bidding (while he's playing golf and looking after his family businesses). After all, it's Trump 'deepstate' backed by Sheldon Adelson's and others deep pockets now.

5 ( +8 / -3 )

Democrats' intention is to stop reelection of Trump in two years.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Best line of the day: "Sarah Huckabee Sanders says there’s no culture of lying at the White House."

That is, of course, a lie.

10 ( +13 / -3 )

bass: And [McGahn] didn’t though, so that book is closed.

And here is the real battle. People who think Trump should be accountable for attempts to obstruct justice, and those who don't. I think he should be. You think he should not be.

We will see which side wins. Trump is temporary, but decisions like this will impact future Presidents on both sides. You might be setting the stage for a future Democrat obstructing justice and using "national emergencies" to get funding that Congress denies.

But on the bright side, you get a win now, and the future is a long ways away. It should be known, however, that you helped create that future situation.

8 ( +10 / -2 )

I think for Democrats the question is whether to impeach now or wait for the other investigations to finish. I can't say I have the answer. If they impeach now, yes, it will put the GOP in a position of choosing Trump over the Constitution and the rule of law, and they will forever be on record based on their votes. Personally, I want to see McConnell humiliate himself at the pleasure of Trump, but the timing not be right.

Maybe it's best to wait. The GOP has their Fox News bubble and can make up any narrative they want. Even if more damaging evidence emerges the GOP will vote to protect Trump, but their humiliation as a party will grow exponentially.

Tough choice. Instant, guaranteed humiliation now, or the potential for much greater humiliation in the future.

5 ( +8 / -3 )

I just do not understand what the 37 percent see in him.

Themselves, I suspect.

6 ( +10 / -4 )

@Bigyen

You sorted it all in one word. Hats off to you!

6 ( +9 / -3 )

Just think of this - on ten occasions - 10 - Trump asked someone to obstruct justice - but they refused, or just didn't do it.

Let's use Trump's own example that he so famously said at one of his rallies; "I Could Stand In the Middle Of Fifth Avenue And Shoot Somebody And I Wouldn't Lose Any Voters"

OK, Trump asks one of his staff to bring him a gun, so he can act on his statement to go shoot someone, but that person declines...

Would you want someone like that as President?

He tried to commit a crime on at least 10 occasions - and when the NY SD Attorney finishes they'll be more to add to the charge sheet...

Nothing but a crime mob boss...

7 ( +9 / -2 )

"it was not necessary for me to respond to statements made in the “Report” about me, some of which are total [expletive not allowed by JT] & only given to make the other person look good (or me to look bad)."

Mr. Potty Mouth is obviously crapping his pants. He knows he screwed up, he knows he lied, and he knows that everyone knows that. He thinks that tweeting to his base will save him. In the end it won't.

Someday Trumpsters are going to be mighty ashamed they ever fell for this clown.

5 ( +7 / -2 )

What I find absolutely hilarious is Trump and Trumpers raging about the nonexistent "Deep State" and "Resistance" thwarting Trump at every turn...

Hah - the real resistance are those closest to the President; McGahn, Lewandowski, et al. who refuse to carry out his criminal instructions to obstruct justice...

The Resistance is all Republican!

1 ( +3 / -2 )

"it was not necessary for me to respond to statements made in the “Report” about me, some of which are total [expletive not allowed by JT] & only given to make the other person look good (or me to look bad)."

Mr. Potty Mouth is obviously crapping his pants.

Oh good grief, plastic, you're offended by "BS"? Yet you're not offended by the tremendous damage this 2 year witch hunt has done to the country.

The ones who are crapping their pants now are the ones who instigated this witch hunt.

-6 ( +2 / -8 )

Even Trump said and feared his presidency was over, so he's the one who knows what he has really done.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

One year and nine months until sanity returns to the White House. I hope we all live until then.

3 ( +5 / -2 )

How would you know? Mueller said, No.

Mueller did not say no to obstruction of justice. That's a lie.

Mueller said: "[Fourth,] if we had confidence after a thorough investigation of the facts that the President clearly did not commit obstruction of justice, we would so state. Based on the facts and the applicable legal standards, however, we are unable to reach that judgment. The evidence we obtained about the President’s actions and intent presents difficult issues that prevent us from conclusively determining that no criminal conduct occurred."

As well as explicitly stating that he was not clearing him, he provided the context for that in his preceding (third) consideration, which hinges on allegations of criminality against a president.

"Fairness concerns counseled against potentially reaching that judgment [the judgement that criminal offenses were committed by President Trump] when no charges can be brought. The ordinary means for an individual to respond to an accusation is through a speedy and public trial, with all the procedural protections that surround a criminal case. An individual who believes he was wrongly accused can use that process to seek to clear his name. In contrast, a prosecutor’s judgment that crimes were committed, but that no charges will be brought, affords no such adversarial opportunity for public name-clearing before an impartial adjudicator."

In other words, 1) he could not and would not conclude that the President hadn't broken laws on obstruction of justice and 2) a key reason for his not saying, as a law enforcement official, that President Trump had broken the law was the (near-) impossibility according to Justice Manual standards of indicting a President.

He comes as close to saying that Trump broke the law as it's possible to get. If you doubt that, read the last line in bold text in my quote above.

6 ( +8 / -2 )

No zichi, Trump knew he had no case to answer but he was also aware how much damage a 2 yr investigation can do to a Presidency, even a fake investigation.

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

The missing of the point is deep here. It's not about whether Trump is guilty of obstruction....which he probably is..

Not according to Mueller. What, you don't believe him?

Democrats' intention is to stop reelection of Trump in two years.

The Dems are out for blood at this point.

-7 ( +2 / -9 )

Why all the talk about impeachment and Impeachment for what? At least 20 Rep. votes are required to even start the process and with all pointers leading to a comfortable Rep. victory why would they,

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

No zichi, Trump knew he had no case to answer but he was also aware how much damage a 2 yr investigation can do to a Presidency, even a fake investigation.

Weak. Very weak.

Poll of 1004 people “online”. Yeah that’s credible.

no poll that takes an avergage of all major polls.

https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/trump-approval-ratings/

even Fox news has Trump at 51% disapproval rating , yet an A grade how does that work lol

2 ( +4 / -2 )

you can’t “almost” commit a crime. So mueller took 2 years yet could only almost prove that Trump almost did something that may or may not have been a crime if he did.

Sorry no one cares when so many others haven’t even been investigated yet. You has 2 years and the full support of the media to push your narratives. You failed.

-8 ( +2 / -10 )

No the average of all polls is not 37 percent. This is 1 poll created specifically to push this narrative.

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/other/president_trump_job_approval-6179.html

-7 ( +2 / -9 )

The Dems are really struggling to stop beating the dead horse and move past the collusion/obstruction hoax. Then again they struggle with daily tasks so no surprise there.

-7 ( +2 / -9 )

The American people voted to make a mentally deranged man their president and now they don't know haw to remove him from office before he starts WWIII. This is the man that was going to make America great again! Well, Trump as certainly made America "great again", a great circus that is the laughing stock of the world.

3 ( +5 / -2 )

@jimizo

What Trump said could be interpreted in many ways, remember no evidence of collusion was found, Trump was found innocent and is now free to continue as President without the Russian probe hanging over him as it should have been from the start, Witch-hunt comes to mind.

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

No the average of all polls is not 37 percent.

maybe one poll showed that but even the link you shown is all major polls and Trump approval has never been in positive territory since become POTUS, even when you factor in a 3% error he still isnt even in positive territory. since the midterms demolition of the house by the democrats the polls are about the same. 2020 comes around majority of senate seats up for grabs are republican, history shows its much harder to retain seats than lose them. The whole point is the AMerican people now undertsand who Trump really is and the more people that vote the less chance for a republican victory, if I was a betting man I wouldnt be putting my money on a republican victory.

might be good idea that Trump send all those mexicans to sanctury cities, they can then all vote against Trump. since Trump has never proven that mexican illegally voted in 2016. LOL

OZ NinjaToday  12:45 pm JST

Trump was found innocent and...

But... aw, forget it. If you've followed the story, read what was actually reported about Mueller's report and come to that conclusion there isn't a whole lot to say.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

After all, it's Trump 'deepstate' backed by Sheldon Adelson's and others deep pockets now

Yeah, but they don’t have the billions and connections that George Soros has, don’t worry.

And here is the real battle. People who think Trump should be accountable for attempts to obstruct justice, and those who don't.

Because those that don’t compare that to other President and politicians that did in fact obstruct and were never held accountable because the highly politicized FBI didn’t think so.

I think he should be. You think he should not be.

Based on previous political injustices and to be fair, no, I do not, especially with something as small as this.

We will see which side wins.

Yes, sir.

Trump is temporary, but decisions like this will impact future Presidents on both sides.

Yes that goes both ways, so if you want to jump on Trump for things he’s said and done, then I’ll throw it back at you what the Democrats are doing and how they weaponized the Feds to help them, but yes, I agree, Trump is temporary as well as all the Presidents after him, including the Democrat ones, remember that.

You might be setting the stage for a future Democrat obstructing justice and using "national emergencies" to get funding that Congress denies.

You never know, but the GOP will never forget this, I assure you of that.

But on the bright side, you get a win now, and the future is a long ways away. It should be known, however, that you helped create that future situation.

AND I believe you guys created and even bigger mess, so big even Bounty can’t pick it up.

-5 ( +2 / -7 )

Even Trump said and feared his presidency was over, so he's the one who knows what he has really done.

I don’t think so, I think Trump felt he was screwed because unlike Obama had Holder to protect him from Be.....I mean, just protect him, Trump didn’t have that in Sessions and you know what gets me about liberals and Democrats, the man has 19 lawyers 13 of them strong Hillary donors, supporters, acquaintances and 40 FBI agents, bias to the hilt, zero Republicans and No, Mueller doesn’t count as being an extension of the greater Washington establishment a witch hunt investigation and Trump is just supposed to shut up, take it and not say anything? That’s stupid and unjustified, even Hillary didn’t sit quality or Bill or every other President that was being investigated nor should they be.

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

The next Presidential democrat candidate? …....Chosen perhaps from the present Democrat Congressional/Senate.............progressive left /centre?

Senator Elizabeth Warren? Or perhaps Joe Biden?

We know Beelzebub bad boy Donald Trump is lost forever doomed to a political purgatory unredeemed.

So where do we go from here? Where is the agreed Democrat policy alternative?,,,,,,,,,,

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Simon f

Suit yourself, for all intensive purposes he’s innocent, is he being charged for a crime, no, will the Dems try to carry this on for another 1yr of course, it’s all they’ve got, I noticed AOC’s tweet about her signature Green new deal, even the Democrats voted it down and Biden? Really. It’s in their interest to keep the fake probe in circulation but will bite them hard come 20/20.

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

OZ NinjaToday  02:42 pm JST

That's not what you said before.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Geez mate, 2 yr intensive probe involving the best US intelligence agencies, poring over documents and his tax returns and cleared, what more do ya need? Notice that since he was exonerated the Queen and Emperor of Japan have both invited Trump for state visits, not a coincidence.

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

I am not boo hooing, I am simply asking the current Democrat policy alternatives ?

If Donald Trump is Spectre who is the equivalent Democrat 007, Jane, James or otherwise?

2 ( +2 / -0 )

@Simon

It's over man. Nothing is going to happen. I think the 2 grueling years of Mueller and his band of merrily angry Democrats breathing down his neck was torturous enough, he’s done enough time when you think about it.

-6 ( +2 / -8 )

That was the poll they did with Democrats.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

@bas4 It's over man. Nothing is going to happen

That's possible, but unlikely. The Mueller documents have revealed to even Trump's most ardent followers what a slimeball he is, his public support continues to slip, and now he's at his most vulnerable, politically and legally.

Expect to see more of his appointed rats jump from the sinking ship he should be steering - instead of playing golf and looking out for his family businesses.

But that's what to expect when a corrupt businessman thinks he can run the government like it's his own private, dodgy business.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

That's possible, but unlikely. The Mueller documents have revealed to even Trump's most ardent followers what a slimeball he is,

I hunk the only people that really think he’s slime are the usual haters, now Nadler and Schiff, they fit the perfect description of what oozing slime is.

his public support continues to slip,

Ahhh, lay off CNN for awhile...lol

https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/436356-trump-approval-rating-holds-steady-in-post-mueller-poll

and now he's at his most vulnerable, politically and legally.

Yeah, I’ve heard that before. By the way, besides promoting some more socialism and healthcare that no one can afford and to handle entitlement income redistribution, infanticide what are the Democrats for, they haven’t made the party clear yet.

Expect to see more of his appointed rats jump from the sinking ship he should be steering - instead of playing golf and looking out for his family businesses.

Like my father used to always tell me there’s always someone that needs a high-paying job. Hey, the Dems have AOC, Tlaib and Waters, seriously?! ROFL!

But that's what to expect when a corrupt businessman thinks he can run the government like it's his own private, dodgy business.

According to his over 200 accomplishments, I would say so enjoying it quite well.

-5 ( +2 / -7 )

It is likely that Trump did not commit an offence with regards the Russian collaboration, but he knew that he had been sailing close to the wind in it and may have been uncertain whether it was criminal or not. Or what he had done was legal yet morally objectionable and didn't want it coming out.

Trump did what he could to impede an investigation - this was wrong, regardless of the outcome of the investigation itself.

The cover-up will dog Trump throughout his re-election campaign.
