The US needs to invest more in it's infrastructure and less into wars overseas. Calapsing bridges, exploding pipelines, potholes big enough to flip your car over and sink holes big enough to swallow entire vehicles. The country is a death trap.

Reminds me of the San Francisco, San Bruno explosion. I noticed a gas leak at a vacant house next to mine and called the fire department to surreptitiously check it out (dog walk, midnight), and a dozen vehicles were on the scene in an instant. They thanked me. Gas is pretty friggin' dangerous.

Indeed looks like infrastructure in the US is aging fast. Time for a big infrastructure investment plan. Wasn't that one of DT's pledges?

darknuts, ain't that the truth! They need to spend more on construction and maintenance and cut down on the military hardware!

I agree with the above comments that the US needs to focus more on infrastructure.
Yes, and he was also going to end the Syrian conflict in 30 days, come up with a better healthcare plan, plus get Mexico to pay for a wall. And he said he'd release his tax info. (Not the Maddow version)
I don't know about this case, but with cutbacks in environmental protection and more attention paid to the needs of corporations and less to consumers have to wonder if this problem could have been prevented.

@Goodlucktoyou--not true, Boston Globe reported a teen in a car was killed by a chimney from an exploding house. RIP to the victim Leonel Rondon.

Are these gas systems controlled by computer software?
Has it been hacked?
