Jusy to remind everyone, authorities have received zero credible allegations of fraud. The only ones making the claim are Republicans via Twitter.

I hate to state the obvious, but the only reason Republicans are concerned about non-existent voter fraud is because they need a pretext for voter suppression.

Just to update on everyone that the feds are closely watching inspecting, at the very least it has been gross negligence over the past 18 years over every single election in mid term Broward County was always a subject of these incompetent recounts

If that were true Obama would’ve never won the election, twice. Hillary would’ve never gotten so many votes, even though she didn’t win the electoral college, that argument just doesn’t hold water at all. If liberals believe that there is voter suppression then conservatives can also believe that Broward county is full and rife with corruption

So not only are Dems adding votes now with invalid signatures, one county found 846 fewer ballots during the recount than they had on election night.

Wonder what % of those are Repub votes? If you can’t win by adding, move to subtracting.

“Latimer noted his office experienced two power outages Wednesday and lost a voting machine, however, he couldn't immediately say whether either problem or human error contributed to the drop in votes counted.”

http://www.tampabay.com/florida-politics/buzz/2018/11/15/hillsborough-county-wont-submit-recount-results-after-fewer-votes-tallied-in-new-count/

sure lots of “power outages”and “voting machines broken/lost” going on. It’s the Russians hacking the power grid, no?

They gave up to count and went back to the election night totals due to not meeting the deadline. So if that’s legal the same should be true for all the other counties who can’t count either.

The hand recount should clear things up. Scott should be OK since it's pretty hard to find thousands of votes that were counted incorrectly. Then all of the GOP's conspiracy questions will fall by the wayside, waiting to rise up when needed in the future.

Every legal vote needs to be counted. Period.

Superlib, I read somewhere respectable a few days ago that there had been a few illegal votes cast in Georgia, but the numbers were tiny. I think less than 50 total statewide. They were provisional ballots with a few non-citizens and a few people trying to vote who weren't actually registered.

I couldn't find that article, only this one from the AJC:

https://www.ajc.com/news/scattered-problems-emerge-georgia-voting/oQxJq2DOKu8o32pd0mvAxN/

I'll keep looking a little longer.

Hand counts take a long time, but provided there are 3 observers, fine.

A federal judge has ruled that Georgia counties must count absentee ballots even if a voter’s date of birth is incorrect or missing, and he is preventing the state from finalizing election results until that happens.

https://www.wsbtv.com/news/local/judge-to-make-potentially-significant-ruling-on-georgia-absentee-ballots/872653835

I almost entered the current date rather than my birth date on ballot.

A few other requests were blocked by the court.

Incorrect addresses or trying to vote in the wrong county were both denied.

Abrams is about 19,000 votes short to force a runoff. It is over for the GA Governor's race.

The good news is that the overreaching laws have been walked back a bit. GA has requested companies to provide bids to replace the existing machines with paper-based voting solutions and Brian Kemp has resigned as SoS now that he is Governor-Elect.

It's messed up that banks can track billions of dollars of money digitally, but the US can't figure out how to have a few hundred million people vote.

"authorities have received zero credible allegations of fraud"

Good grief. Anyone with two brain cells knows voter fraud has been committed in Broward and Palm Beach counties. OK, Palm Beach and Broward, you're null and void. Rick Scott, you're the winner.

In other words, the votes will be recounted, recounted and recounted until the Democrats win.

They counted the votes in Broward and it showed the Republican extended his lead 700 more than the Election Day count.

So of course they then didn’t upload those results that they had by the deadline so he doesn’t get credited with the new total.

Oh darn it! I uploaded the results 2 mins late so they don’t count! Oops.....

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

They can. They just haven’t figured out how to ensure a Dem always wins. That’s still work in progress.

but the US can't figure out how to have a few hundred million people vote.

Looks like Gillum will finally concede, that race has been called (again)and Scott will win also, seems like Broward County lost again and once DeSantis gets in, get rid of all these people, replace all these machines so that this mess doesn’t happen again.

It's starting to become a thing with the GOP. From California:

Republicans Walters and Kim adopt Trump tactic of charging vote fraud with no evidence of wrongdoing

http://www.latimes.com/politics/la-me-pol-walters-kim-fraud-claims-20181115-story.html

Two Orange County Republicans facing the prospect of defeat in the Nov. 6 congressional election as final ballots are counted have adopted President Trump’s tactic of making baseless allegations of vote fraud.

Neither GOP Rep. Mimi Walters nor Republican candidate Young Kim has produced evidence to back up their charges that Democrats are trying to steal the election. County registrars of voters supervising the ballot counts said they knew of no one doing anything that would compromise the election’s integrity.

Serrano: Good grief. Anyone with two brain cells knows voter fraud has been committed in Broward and Palm Beach counties.

Nah, in this country you actually need to provide evidence in order to convict. As a private citizen you're free to believe whatever made up stuff you want, just don't expect any action to be taken because of it and we'll be fine.

theFu: The good news is that the overreaching laws have been walked back a bit.

The signature laws were just dumb. Any vote can be set aside if an untrained volunteer doesn't think the siguature matches enough. The voter has the right to cure, but Florida passed a law saying that it had to be cured by the day before the election, obvioulsy before the votes had been canvassed and people had been notified of the problem.

It's like they intentionally put the law on the books to fail.
