Clean energy represents the largest growth areas for middle class jobs in the world. How does the US not participating help the middle class if these jobs are going to go elsewhere?

The tide of history is against the "deniers" of climate change and so are voters. Trump is rapidly turning the US into a rogue nation. An electorate should always be mindful of collateral damage.

turning the US into a rogue nation

While increasing the power of the .01%, the oligarchs worldwide, especially those in resource extraction industries, and making them even richer.

I don't think Trump cares whit one about the US and its 99.9%; his primary concern is making himself and his family as rich as possible while he's in office.

Green energy is getting cheaper. Houses can easy run without base load power now. Base load users are industry only now. Industry should start thinking about moving plants were they can produce their own base load power. Technology like thermal, tidal, gas, and building on these site. At present Industry has to rely on other companies to produce their power e.g., importers coal, shipping industry, Government, power producer. If you a own tidal generator that can power a plant. Idea like this should be considered. Like Mitsubishi in Kobe. They could easy build a tidal generator on site.

America will soon learn that the world is moving on without them.

Trump supporters don't know what to say on the subject because they don't know what Trump will do. Whichever path he chooses will then become the right solution for them to trumpet

Many of us could care less what the rest of the world thinks.

As a supporter, I think it's the president's call, but for me, it's not THE most important issue that should override the wishes and will of the average American trying to stay on their feet.

Yeah, America has had that reputation for decades. But electing Trump really hammered it home.

I think there's plenty of unthinking partisanship on both sides, but agree it'd be priceless to watch the heads of the flat-earthers explode en masse as Trump caves into a bunch of effete Europeans and their scientific consensus. Highly unlikely but we can dream. But even that can't beat out what he said in that debate last year:

"Obviously the war in Iraq was a big, fat mistake. George Bush made a mistake. Obviously we can make mistakes, but that one was a beauty. We should have never been in Iraq. They lied, they said there were weapons of mass destruction. There were none and they knew that there were none. The World Trade Center came down on Bush's watch"

"You'll find out very soon."

Oh, yes. Eventually we'll all find out, if not in our lifetime then our children will and their children. By then, it will probably be too late.

Translation: I'll wait till I'm told what to think. Because, you know, I thought Trump was a loon and joke until he actually got nominated.

The Paris Treaty should be submitted to the US Congress for acceptance or rejection.

Trump is more of a danger to the world than NK and ISIL put together.
