I'd like to see the whistleblower, who's a fraud," Trump said,

The words of a man who is angry he got caught.

The GOP has embraced the devil. There is no turning back.

A badly divided House Judiciary Committee voted 23-17 along party lines

Exactly as predicted.

What a farce.

-4 ( +4 / -8 )

"There was nothing done wrong."

Sure, Trump. I'm sure you said the same when you were sued for fraud twice as well as discrimination twice and lost every time.

Once the GOP votes to legitimize his actions then the US Presidency will be officially for sale. You want US assistance or tax dollars? Just give Donald a call and offer up some personal favors.

3 ( +7 / -4 )

Its going to be sad days for a lot of the liberal expats here for many years to come.

Both parties are rotten to the core, (have embraced the devil) if you want to be emotional about it. “Normal people” are just tired of the circus, and see the Dems as the Ringmaster. It looks like Trumps US-Canada-Mexico trade agreement will get signed, with the support of the Dems and Big Labor, so the constant whining about Trump this and that is just...well...whining. A lot of Dem seats are up for grabs this next election so we’ll see, but since the Dems have already shot both feet, ankles, knees off and are now working on the upper thighs, it is very possible they lose, and lose bigly.

Invalid CSRF

Republicans say the president did nothing improper

Historically Republicans have tried to push the idea they're the Party of law and order, the upholders of ethics and morality. No more. Now their motto is:

For my friends *(in the US and 'abroad', especially those contributing yuuuuuge sums of money to campaigns and personal bank accounts)* everything; for my enemies the law.

3 ( +5 / -2 )

Exactly as predicted.

Yes.

What a farce.

No, it’s democracy with checks and balances in action.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Trumps US-Canada-Mexico trade agreement will get signed, with the support of the Dems and Big Labor, so the constant whining about Trump this and that is just...well...whining

Logic failure. Donny getting one thing done does not mean he is suddenly competent and has impulse control. This means he’ll do something that will be asinine and we’ll have more to point out.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Logic failure. Donny getting one thing done does not mean he is suddenly competent and has impulse control.

You’re right, partly.

The logic failure is on you. I know you can’t help yourself, constantly being triggered must suck, per your personal attack. The fact that the Dems have agreed to it must hurt like hell. Pelosi backing impeachment in the morning, an hour later backing the trade deal. I give her credit for doing this, other Dems don’t care so much about average Americans, they hate giving Trump a victory and would be happy to flush the country down the toilet for their selfish party.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

The unpatriotic US Senate's imminent brazen obstruction of justice will only embolden Trump ("as president, I can do anything I like") to commit more crimes and misdemeanors. Dump pooh-poohs the Dems' paltry two Articles of Impeachment, incensed that other presidents got more than him. If reelected, he's certain to become the first POTUS to be impeached twice, a prospect that must really appeal to the bloated narcissistic core of his character: just another one for the record book to feed his insatiable need for self-aggrandizement.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Hmmmm..judging by the polls, it would seem quite the opposite

But we know polls can’t be trusted, right?

and it seems like independence will never forget the Democrats, every single one of them as well, that’s why I hope the Democrats push this as hard as they can, it’s better for Trump and democracy.

One moment you’re railing about how unfair and illegitimate this is, and the next you’re saying how good it is for Donny and democracy. Which is it?

Ditto. Hopefully in four years Democrats will understand this and try to better their ways and leave socialism and the trappings that go with it. I pray that they will embrace American democracy one day.

They do, and always have.

The party of Reagan is now the party of Trump, and by extension Putin...

And all the Repub and Senate Repubs need to trade their US passports for Russian ones...

Trump insults allies and friends, then back-slaps and pals around with his best bud Vlad - you know, the one who attacked our election in 2016, who has invaded and occupied Georgia, Ukraine, and Crimea. Who said the fall of the Soviet Union was the worst thing in Russian history. Who sends his agents to conduct assassinations on Western soil. Who leads his country like a mob boss.

Well, when you pal around with New York's mafia heads for over 40 years, I guess you have an affinity with gangsters...

But gangsters in America ultimately end up in jail Donnie - which is where you're headed.

Just ask Manafort, Gates, Flynn, Papadapolous, Cohen, Stone - and Rudy and Perry are just waiting their turn.

And your old bud Crazy Rudy, who you said you didn't know very well and didn't know what he was doing, will let everyone in on that "insurance policy" once he looks at the possible sentence for those 8 charges Barr has him under investigation for...

Oh my...

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Nope. Not how this works at all, our turn.

He has effectively promised to let President Trump manage his own impeachment trial. The Senator must withdraw," Representative Val Demings said in a statement.

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

But we know polls can’t be trusted, right?

The Democrats didn’t believe that at first when they started this farce and they look at the polls and saw that many people wanted him impeached at the time, but now all of a sudden we should just ignore them, I see....lol.

One moment you’re railing about how unfair and illegitimate this is, and the next you’re saying how good it is for Donny and democracy. Which is it?

Both.

They do, and always have

well, in four years we shall see if they have repented or not.

Want one example of how much Trumpers disparage and disrespect our Constitution?

Just ask Mike Huckabee...

Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee says he has been "named to head up" what would be an unconstitutional 2024 re-election campaign for Donald Trump.

Mr Huckabee, father of former White House press secretary Sarah Sanders, made the explosive claim in a pair of tweets on Thursday afternoon in which he also said the US president was "eligible" for a third term due to congressional investigations into him.

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/trump-2024-election-third-term-mike-huckabee-impeachment-inquiry-a9244761.html

Mike either has a new diet plan he's hawking or is trying to help with some name recognition for his daughter's upcoming Governor run...

You guys always bring up Nixon. We found something helpful from Nixon days.

it was said that if Nixon found innocent he gets all his time back. Might work for Trump too as you gave basically stolen his entire Presidency by trying to impeach him before he even started.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

More and more of your 31 at risk freshman are being forced to vote for impeachment. As Matt Gaetz said “rent don’t buy” we have solid challengers for nearly all of you.

Dems took the House with honorable candidates who claimed they would work with the President to benefit the American people. They lied.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

The party of Reagan is now the party of Trump

Good.

And all the Repub and Senate Repubs need to trade their US passports for Russian ones...

I think that would be the other way around considering the fact that the Democrats are the ones that every five seconds keep repeating the Russian negative again and again and again.

Trump insults allies and friends,

It’s about time

And your old bud Crazy Rudy, who you said you didn't know very well and didn't know what he was doing, will let everyone in on that "insurance policy" once he looks at the possible sentence for those 8 charges Barr has him under investigation for...

Lincoln, where are you sister and regurgitate the same narrative over and over again, the country will be moving ahead, the president will have four more years and you and the other Democrats will be rolling on about Russia, Russia, Russia.

ROFL!

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

Seems libs would have got the hint they have been had when Hilldawg and Fusion GPS popped up in UK screaming Russia Russia. But keep on doing you.

Repub President, Senate and House in 2020 plus most of the fed judges and a 6-3 Supreme Court sounds awesome.

Trump on brink of impeachment

Democrats on brink of a meltdown.

I do not see one patriotic American among the Republicans.

I see one patriotic American among the Democrats - New Jersey Rep. Jeff Van Drew plans to vote against impeachment. And there are several other Democrats sitting on the fence.

They have abandoned our Country

The Democrats are the ones wasting time and money on this impeachment sham instead of working for the people.

We will never forget every single one of these GOP members that sold us out for Trump.

We will never forget all those who voted for this impeachment sham.

Want one example of how much Trumpers disparage and disrespect our Constitution?

Just ask Mike Huckabee...

Hey lincolnman, watch this -

You forgot Putin..

Yes, Dems see Russia as "negative" - Repubs see it as something to "Make Great Again"...

Trump insults allies and friends,

It’s about time

Disgusting isn't it - insulting those of our allies that shed blood with us ion the battlefield - all while praising and sucking up to Russia who is our No 1 enemy...

And your old bud Crazy Rudy, who you said you didn't know very well and didn't know what he was doing, will let everyone in on that "insurance policy" once he looks at the possible sentence for those 8 charges Barr has him under investigation for...

Well, at least you got "narrative" right this time. As for Russia, who met with Lavarov this week? Was Ukraine and Crimea discussed? Where did Rudy's partner Parnas get his $1 million payment? Hmmm....

Just ask Mike Huckabee...

Hey lincolnman, watch this -

Do I have to hold your beer first?

@serranoThey have abandoned our Country

I don't know whether Trump, McConnell, Graham, Rubio, Cruz, Kennedy and the many other Republicans have actually abandoned the US. Most likely they'll still live in the country, but with the money they've got from Russian oligarchs and others in the global establishment, the so called elite, they and their families will certainly be able to live even more comfortably as a result of selling the country out. For a few million more. While the majority of the US population gets trickled down on.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

You forgot Putin..

The Dems forgot Medvedev

Yes, Dems see Russia as "negative"

Yet, they’re silent on Med.

Disgusting isn't it - insulting those of our allies that shed blood with us ion the battlefield -

While we have millions of people in our country dying of opioids, let’s forget them. No wonder the Dems falling in the polls.

all while praising and sucking up to Russia who is our No 1 enemy...

No, it’s China, always has been.

Well, at least you got "narrative" right this time.

Thanks.

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

I don't know whether Trump, McConnell, Graham, Rubio, Cruz, Kennedy and the many other Republicans have actually abandoned the US.

What nonsense, this is the reason why most Republicans are becoming more isolationist and Democrats want to appease everybody in the entire world

Most likely they'll still live in the country, but with the money they've got from Russian oligarchs and others in the global establishment, the so called elite, they and their families will certainly be able to live even more comfortably as a result of selling the country out. For a few million more. While the majority of the US population gets trickled down on.

The CNN force is strong with in you guys.

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

Yeah not like the Supreme Court agreed to hear the subpoena case that Dems based their “obstruction” article of impeachment on.

if was already obstruction why will the Supreme Court take the case and rule on it? So 1 of your 2 articles are gone.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives on Friday took Republican President Donald Trump to the brink of impeachment by approving two charges against him over his efforts to pressure Ukraine to investigate Democratic political rival Joe Biden.

I predict that elected Democrats in the U.S. House will vote to impeach Trump. They will then watch as elected Republicans in the U.S. Senate open, and close, the trial by stating, correctly, that the Democrat prosecutors/persecutors have failed to make their case against the President.

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

Also watch freshman Democrats that won in Trump districts start to slowly peel off and back away from impeachment

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

You forgot Putin..

The Dems forgot Medvedev

You forgot to answer these questions; here, I'll make it easy for you - here's a Fox News article...

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/lev-parnas-giuliani-associate-tried-hiding-russia-payment

As for Russia, who met with Lavarov this week? Was Ukraine and Crimea discussed? Where did Rudy's partner Parnas get his $1 million payment? Hmmm....

Medicaid? Dems aren't silent on that...

Disgusting isn't it - insulting those of our allies that shed blood with us ion the battlefield -

While we have millions of people in our country dying of opioids, let’s forget them. No wonder the Dems falling in the polls.

Wow, blatant dodge. From NATO to opioids. Why does he insult our allies who have and are currently serving with us on the battlefield all while praising and sucking up to Russia who is our No 1 enemy...

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/battle-syria-us-russian-mercenaries-commandos-islamic-state-a8370781.html

No, it’s China, always has been.

China is an adversary - Russia is an enemy...read the article above...

Well, at least you got "narrative" right this time.

Thanks.

You're welcome...

it was said that if Nixon found innocent he gets all his time back. Might work for Trump too as you gave basically stolen his entire Presidency by trying to impeach him before he even started.

That's because Russian cyberhacking and his gross immaturity, bullying, refusal to accept an election defeat and crime record told everything!

1 ( +2 / -1 )

The Democrats didn’t believe that at first when they started this farce and they look at the polls and saw that many people wanted him impeached at the time, but now all of a sudden we should just ignore them, I see....lol.

The Democrats are absolutely irrelevant to you citing polls when they support you and disparaging polls when they don’t.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

his efforts to pressure Ukraine to investigate Democratic political rival Joe Biden.

That is fake news right off the bat. Trump asked to investigate corruption in Berisma, not John Biden. And Berisma is a notorious corrupt company with links to oligarchs.

Now if the BIdens are involved with Berisma, that should be their problem, not Trumps.

I don´t want to live in a world where a corrupt company must not be investigated because it has the son of a Western politician on its payroll.

his efforts to pressure Ukraine to investigate Democratic political rival Joe Biden.

That is fake news right off the bat.

Really? Explain "I would like you to do us a favor though"...

Trump asked to investigate corruption in Berisma, not John Biden.

Well, that's the only true statement in this post - can't say I know who John Biden is...

And Berisma is a notorious corrupt company with links to oligarchs.

You know, corrupt like Rudy's two business partners Parnas and Furman who are under arrest for corruption - and Parnas received a $1 million payment from a Russian oligarch close to Putin. Rudy is under criminal investigation also - by the way, who's personal attorney is he?

Now if the BIdens are involved with Berisma, that should be their problem, not Trumps.

Trump's problem is Bolton's drug deal and Rudy's insurance policy...

I don´t want to live in a world where a corrupt company must not be investigated because it has the son of a Western politician on its payroll.

You'd rather live in a world where a President can ask Russia, China and Ukraine to blatantly interfere in our democracy....that's not America.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

You'd rather live in a world where a President can ask Russia, China and Ukraine to blatantly interfere in our democracy....that's not America.

I agree with your points, but remember many posters like the one you've responded to pushing Russian and other alt right perspectives are not Americans, and the 'Americans' who push alt right and pro-Russian perspectives actually want further Russian interference in US politics. They know that's the best way to keep the US and global elite, the establishment, running things. Trump's done more to help the global elite than any president ever.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

The Republicans have set a very dangerous precedent for the country. It doesn't matter what political party you belong to. It all boils down to whether you approve of foreign interference in U.S. elections, which Republicans apparently approve of.

"If this isn't an impeachable offense, then what is?"

1 ( +2 / -1 )

You forgot to answer these questions

Liberals always seem to gloss over this as well, but I will oblige...

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2019/10/03/giuliani_i_have_documents_showing_ukrainian_collusion_with_top_democrats.html

Medicaid? Dems aren't silent on that...

I haven’t heard anything in a week or a few months or year totally silent, not if they can talk more about that than impeachment I’d give them props.

Wow, blatant dodge. From NATO to opioids. Why does he insult our allies who have and are currently serving with us on the battlefield all while praising and sucking up to Russia who is our No 1 enemy...

Everything: https://www.businessinsider.com/us-officials-lied-about-afghan-war-failures-documents-reveal-2019-12

So yeah, I think Trump doesn’t need to listen to these people.

No, they don’t, of course not.

"If this isn't an impeachable offense, then what is?"

*“High crimes and misdemeanors”** which none of it was found this is the reason why the Democrats can you bring up proper articles for what to impeach the president on it’s all a political farce, not to mention they don’t have by bipartisan support, no overwhelming evidence and nothing compelling.*
