I feel like the constant articles on this subject are supposed to draw pity. Well I do have pity. I have pity for the victims not the monsters.

I'm with you Joe. Some people have done unforgivable things.

Putting them in a jail for the rest of their lives would be significantly cheaper than having the state kill them. I'm inclined to let the victim's family choose, but understand the need for the appearance of a disconnected judicial outcome.
