Donny going to pardon him? Good people on both sides, right?

"She is a communist. An anti-white liberal," Fields said, according to court papers filed by prosecutors. He rejected his mother's plea to consider that the woman had "lost her daughter," replying, "She's the enemy."

That doesn't sound much different than what Republicans say on a regular basis.

Hm. I wonder if both sides of the political divide will show up here to celebrate the justice of this sentencing. I know we libs are here.

Where, oh, where are the conservatives...?

As much as I approve of the sentence I am not sure it fits well with other sentences for similar crimes. I would not sit here and say a man so young is for sure unreformable. So his sentence seems more political than consistent with other sentencing.

Good! Should rot in prison! Perfect sentence.

I'm thankful that this man was not given the death penalty and thus made a martyr for the neo-nazis, hail Trumpers and other white supremacists.

Prosecutors noted that hate crimes, particularly those driven by white supremacist views, are on the rise in the United States. The FBI's most recent report on hate crimes, released in November, showed a 17% rise in 2017.

Citing recent attacks on synagogues and burnings of African-American churches in Louisiana, they told a news conference that the U.S. government will continue to focus resources on prosecuting hate crimes.

Of course these horrible crimes are on the increase. Perps and such fanatics are emboldened by the rhetoric coming from the White House and elements of the GOP.

I agree with you on the first part, but on the second part there is no proof whatsoever that the GOP is responsible for spite of what the liberal media is trying to Force feed everyone these people were already emboldened they were so when Reagan and Bush were in office, they were emboldened when Romney tried to run. The few idiots that latch on the Trump or any other Republican candidate are worthless idiots, no one pays attention to them.

One less Trump supporter out there.

Marked increase in the numbers of right wing extremists and groups since Trump became president with his MEGAGOB tweets.

Not just with the racists, with everyone and every idiot with a political agenda. Twitter is now the thing to do.
