What's wrong if anyone naming the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) as a terrorist organization and the U.S. government as a sponsor of terror???

"I am telling you (American leaders), if you pressure us, we will mass-produce IR8 advanced centrifuges,"

Go ahead and mass produce, then see what happens to your country.

Its beginning. Trump finally gets to start a war, and it might become one of the deadliest for Americans. I guess his policy is, you can't make (your neighbor) an omlette unless you break a few (of your own) eggs.

Of course Iran is not going to stay inert. American deal-making to its finest !

Go ahead and mass produce, then see what happens to your country.

Look at a map : Iran is 3 to 4 times larger than Iraq, with a worst terrain than Afghanistan.

Seeing the success the US had in these countries, young American are gonna go back home in body bags by the thousands.

It's terrifying, isn't it. But under Trump's leadership, Americans should fight and die for Israel. If you won't do it, then your antisemitic. Whatever happened to his "fighting for the safety of Americans" b.s...oh right, it was b.s. to begin with.

Iran is too poor, too ill equipped to rage a war. Domestic problems. Recent floods.

They are much more stable than Vietnam was in the 60's, and that didn't turn out so well for Americans...

Which the Trump regime will keep hidden from cameras and the media. Not out of respect for the dead, instead because of the optics.

Given the amount of money the Department of Defense has spent developing autonomous weapons, if the US attacks Iran they may use it as testing grounds for some of the newer models. They can test them, like they did with the Stealth bomber in Panama, while using up existing weapons so the military can then request more money for more weapons.

The US has long required wars to keep the economy going, and Trump and the neo-cons he's got doing the elite's bidding are doing what they can to make sure the elite and their war industries continue to thrive. Sick.

"In spite of all the pressure over the past 40 years, Americans have failed to do a damn thing

If Khamenei said that, you know the U.S. has done damn something.

By the way, this guy was president of Iran from 1981 to 1989 and then Supreme Leader since then. Isn't it time for him to retire? Don't Iranians want to see a change in leadership? What has this guy done to make life better for Iranians?

What's your point? That America should "liberate" them and put in a new leader?

Is t it sad that the leader of Iran is more credible than Trump?

Go for it. Wouldn't bother me. What's in a name? Iran already considers the US to be the "Great Satan." Everyone tirelessly chants "Death To America" and they even have a "Death To America" emoji (https://www.bbc.com/news/blogs-news-from-elsewhere-43891478).

Khameini, presiding over a pernicious, toxic regime.

Remember when the then new President Obama tried to reach out the hand of friendship to them? It was slapped away with scathing comments and insults.

Well done President Trump - calling it like it is.

Any conflict with Iran would bring the world to a massive recession-the Americans will never risk that....

First, understand that no one want to conquer Iran. In fact, we want the Iranian people to take back Iran!

Second, the only ones who risk being annihilated, either through financial sanctions or through an upheaval by their people, - or other actions in kind, are the Iranian Theocrats and their terrorist military component.

Designating the Iranian Revolutionary Guards as a terrorist organization is quite appropriate, given their active participation in state sponsorship of terror, i.e. providing weapons, rockets and missiles for Hezbollah and the Taliban.

Serrano:

The closest equivalent to the Supreme leader position is that of a parliamentary monarch (Victorian style). The Queen still commands the army, but parliament must declare war (though the prime minister is able to send some troops and apologize later). The Supreme leader, like earlier British monarchs, is not shy about his foreign policies...unsure if he voices domestic policies too, but he once, again like victoria, voiced preference over one president (Vic: prime minister) than another. The Queen is old too, but does not retire.

Claiming any activity in the middle east would lead to instability implies there is stability now. Actuality claiming middle east has stability verges on slander.

Same as Afghanistan and Iraq then ! By all mean, remind us how that worked.

I see that the eventual fall of the Theocrats of Iran, their cornies and their military terrorist component through internal upheaval will cause a lot of distress to some folks here.

Lighten up!

Miyam_Musashi " First, understand that no one want to conquer Iran. In fact, we want the Iranian people to take back Iran!".  If this is the case, then Iran is the only nation on earth that the US doesn't want to conquer. The US has done nothing but sponsor terrorism for the last 70 years - it trained and financed the Taliban and many others.

Musashi, do some reading of  American history and world affairs and before commenting.

The US will not be happy until they start another war. Half a dozen US wars in the Middle East is not enough for the US, but. of course, they will ask their allies (puppets) for help.

"Mr Trump, tell your warships not to pass near the Revolutionary Guards boats," ISNA news agency reported a tweet from Mohsen Rezaei as saying.

"I am telling you (American leaders), if you pressure us, we will mass-produce IR8 advanced centrifuges," Rouhani said in the speech marking Iran's National Nuclear Day.

So because they were labeled terrorists they are going to act like... terrorists... That'll show them, Iran!

Yeah, look at what happened to North Korea....
