Justice prevailed and hysterical conspiracy theories have been debunked.

You are aware I take it, that the report has not yet been released?   Or did Barr give you a sneak preview?

Trumpsters were right the whole time

That anything Mueller does cannot be believed because corrupt cop goon squad witch hunt? How is it that the so-called angry Dems on Mueller’steam are recommending no new indictments? I thought they were hell-bent on bringing down the Trump presidency?

Trumpsters spent two years smearing an investigative team that performed its job admirably because Trumpsters were protecting their man whatever may. You don’t hear liberals or Democrats or anti-Trumpers now smearing Mueller because he didn’t take down Trump. All you hear is gloating from the Trump cultists.

Everyone is going nuts, but all is speculation at this point. Wait for content before rushing to judgement. This is just the beginning.

A chapter from Matt Taibbi's yet unpublished book lays out a compelling and depressing rundown of how badly the media failed us over the past two years:

Only if you first give Bush another 6 years for having had to waste time on this and that, lol

How about just reinstating "Honest Abe"? Not possible? Oh ok... Maybe we just forget the ridiculousness of the initial statement.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

One thing we can all agree on - Mueller has been a disappointment.

Nah he's been awesome. Unless you are saying you actually wanted him to get rid of Trump. He's done his job and he's done it well.

No thanks, eight years of Obama did enough damage.

Thank you for your admission of who the best president in modern history is.

5 ( +7 / -2 )

it was always a made up investigation meant to hobble Trumps campaign and then his presidency

And now the head of this "made up investigation" has seemingly delivered a report that delights Trump and his cult followers. Makes no sense.

Now that the witch hunt is over it’s time for a special prosecutor to be named. Staffed by Republicans who attended Trumps victory party this time to probe the FBI and the Hillary Clinton campaign and their collusion with Russia and the attempted coup by rouge agents with their insurance policies and promises to stop Trump from winning the election.

Have fun with that.

By the way, it's rogue, not rouge. Seems like a nervous tick among Trump cultists.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

Mueller or no Mueller, Trump will be the architect of his own downfall. His recent behaviour and threats of violence highlight just how unfit to lead this man is.

Besides, there's more than one investigation.

4 ( +8 / -4 )

I'm waiting to see the answers for;

Why 6 of Trump's closest advisers went before the FBI and brazenly lied when questioned about Russia.

Why Don Jr, Jared, and Manafort accepted a meeting at Trump Tower with Russian agents, then lied about it.

Why Trump lied about the Trump Tower meeting, then lied again when he denied he wrote the memo saying it was about adoptions.

Why Trump lied all during the campaign when he said he had "Zero" business with Russian, when negotiations for Trump Tower Moscow were going on thru Dec 2016.

Why Trump denied he has any business ties to Russia when Don Jr and Eric say the Trump Org gets all of its money from Russia.

People don't lie under oath unless they were told to or they are covering up something.

I'm waiting to see what Mueller says about all the lying.

Irrespective of the results, Robert Mueller has shown once again what a principled, honorable American he is; Marine combat Vet, Director of the FBI and US Attorney who put away drug kings and crime families, now led the Special Counsel investigation with the utmost professionalism. Imagine hearing all the lies and insults to your character, yet putting your duty first and not responding in kind.

Like John McCain, he is someone to be admired for his service and sacrifice to our nation. Someone who's integrity, honor, and ethics should serve as an example for all, especially when contrasted with the current occupant in the White House who has none of those qualities.

34 people in jail in less than two years and the prosecution made money.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

One report noted that Trump, holed up in Mar a Lago, has not tweeted in 24 hours - the first this has happened in his presidency. Clearly, an intense tug-of-war is occurring regarding whether the White House will be able to preview and deliver and eviscerated version to congress or whether congress will receive an unedited view. This is of immediate importance. Do any conservatives here feel that Trump should be allowed to edit out parts of Mueller's report that he doesn't like?

4 ( +5 / -1 )

C'mon now, WikiLeaks

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Nor the fact that everyone who said there was WMD in Iraq were Repubs - to include the current National Security Adviser, John "I Love War" Bolton...

Not only that - they demanded all intel from their intelligence agencies, then even though it was given with the caveat that it wasn't confirmed, the administration presented as if it were fact, which we came to find out was a lie.

Now these people who supported the liars are trying to put the blame on the people who said not to count on the intel.

These people literally have no morals. They take no accountability. Even now when I model my behavior as a parody of their actions, they call my actions childish, without acknowledging that theirs must also then be.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

Bass 4 Funk, no worries if Congress does not get the report. They can start Impeachment procedures and force Muller and the of his team to testify. If there is nothing there, then Trump would not have to hide the report. His hiding of the report equals GUILTY!

3 ( +3 / -0 )

And now that this is finally over, Mueller can get back to searching for those WMD that he told us with certainty Iraq definitely had when he was FBI Director

Another Trumper who doesn't understand the difference between the FBI and the CIA - amazing...

Nor the fact that everyone who said there was WMD in Iraq were Repubs - to include the current National Security Adviser, John "I Love War" Bolton...

2 ( +6 / -4 )

mueller is part of a cover up, says liberal media. Wow that was quick to turn on your savior already.

You thought only Trumpophiles could do 180s?

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Barr will do his best to bury the report or even outright change it. Barr does carry water for Trump. It is impossible for him to be independent of Trump.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Has Trump started tweeting yet after his recent sudden silence?

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Two years of "Russia Russia Russia" have culminated in (as many of us knew all along) nothing.

How about waiting for its conclusions to be released? Only then can you determine that.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

The terrible thing about the last two years is not only the damage the false claim of collusion has caused to the nation

I agree. A liar lies to the nation, it's the nations fault that they believe his lies.

Trump eerily quiet these days, wonder whats up?

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Just saw a special report. Looks like there's no direct evidence of collusion, which was expected, but as for obstruction of justice Mueller said there wasn't enough evidence to indict.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Only if you first give Bush another 6 years for having had to waste time on this and that, lol

For having had to waste time on invading Iraq under false pretenses, so he could finish daddy Bush's job?

You should give those six years to Obama as well.

Maybe another 11 years of the best president in modern history would actually fix your country.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Reports are already emerging that this investigation has found no collusion whatsoever between Trump and any Russians.

From Alex Jones? Julian Assange?

Trump won the election fair and square.

That's not what most anti-Trump people are arguing about. Trump is simply an incompetent, sleazy, compromised narcissist who is bad for the country and bad for democracy period.

The reason why their queen wears no crown is NOT because Trump cheated.

This is the narrative promoted by people like Sean Hannity. Again, the majority of Democrats are not disputing the results of the election. You may remember, however, that it was Donald Trump who has claimed that the election was rigged and that millions of illegal immigrants voted for Clinton. He also insinuated before the election that if Clinton won, he might not recognize the outcome. (I predict that he will say the same kinds of things in 2020.)

Clinton and the Democrats recognized the outcome. There has been no dispute about this. The issue has been possible attempts from outside the country and inside the country to illegitimately affect the vote. That is an issue that should be of concern for anybody. There has been no claim for evidence that the outcome of 2016 was determined by collusion with Russia.

Let's make it simple. Clinton lost because she was a flawed candidate. Trump won because there is a surprisingly large number of gullible people in America.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Only a grassroots movement combined with socialism can save America from itself.

That sounds like that new senator in NY, the young woman.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Barr will do his best to bury the report or even outright change it. Barr does carry water for Trump. It is impossible for him to be independent of Trump.

I have yet to see any evidence to support any of this.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Chip Star, Trump bashes the report in public. In private all he has to say to Barr is "Surpress the report or get fired". It is Trumps trademark phrase, "YOU ARE FIRED!!"

1 ( +2 / -1 )

I made no such admission. If you can't figure out that I don't think Obama was the best president in history from my comment, that's your shortcoming.

I make no apologies. You clearly responded to Strangerland's comment -

Maybe another 11 years of the best president in modern history would actually fix your country.

with -

No thanks, eight years of Obama did enough damage.

Which, although is a negative comment about Obama, includes the implication that he was in fact the best president of modern history... you were the only one who mentioned him, nobody else.

Of course, we could always put that entire comment down as "fake news" if you'd rather.

1 ( +4 / -3 )

Nothing fake here.

Glad to hear you think so too.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Means the answer to your question is that is had nothing to do with collusion.

Just what we expected - no answer...

Once the Mueller report comes out, we'll all have the answer - and its spelled COLLUSION.....

...to preside over the slowest economies, worst worker participation, highest unemployment for Blacks, the only President to have an stagnant economy under a consistent 3.0 GDP, lowest growth of the private sector..that was definitely his best for a President in modern history.

Fix an economy taken to the edge of a depression by a Republican administration in bed with Wall Street, kill Osama Bin Laden, but most importantly, conduct himself and his administration with integrity and dignity - instead of filling it with felons, con-men, and traitors...and partying with porn stars and Playboy Bunnies.

Trump job description questions #1 and #2 - will you lie under oath and do you speak Russian...

I forgot #3 - do you know any porn stars?

1 ( +4 / -3 )

No one was indicted for collusion. There are no more indictments coming. Therefore, there was no collusion.

First, doesn't know the difference between the FBI and CIA - now doesn't know collusion is not a criminal offense but one that is impeachable.

Mueller is going to lay bare all the lying, Russian contacts, and collusion that has been in plain sight since 2015.

Trump supporters world is about to be turned upside down. Get ready for the reckoning...

1 ( +3 / -2 )

We know what is not in the report. That’s all that matters.

Oh no, that is definitely not all that matters. Not by a long shot. In fact, I'd go so far as to say everything in the report matters. All of it.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Before Trumpers take their premature victory lap, they may want to read about 25 key areas where Mueller's report could spell big trouble for Trump...

https://www.politico.com/interactives/2019/the-mueller-probe-subplots/?plots

0 ( +4 / -4 )

Hopefully the Trump regime will allow the public to read Mueller's report to see why so many Trump employees and family members repeatedly lied about contacts with Russians.

Hats off to all involved in the Mueller investigation for uncovering and convicting the criminals involved in Trump's campaign and for exposing how corrupt Trump's business practices have been.

0 ( +5 / -5 )

*the attempted coup by rouge agents with their insurance policies and promises to stop Trump from winning the election.*

Riiiight. You're talking about Peter Strzok, the supposed anti-Trump plotter who along with James Comey was central to restarting the investigation against Hillary Clinton days before the election. Man, these far left angry Democrat "rouge" agents (Mueller included) sure have a weird way of carrying through their coup plots.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

Chip Star, Trump bashes the report in public. In private all he has to say to Barr is "Surpress the report or get fired". It is Trumps trademark phrase, "YOU ARE FIRED!!"

That sounds nice, but I haven't seen any evidence that Barr would comply.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Mueller put you in your place when he said no more indictments coming.

Means the answer to your question is that is had nothing to do with collusion.

0 ( +4 / -4 )

bass 4 funk, It is too early for Trump supporters to be gloating. The report has not been released. You can bet your last yen the Democrats in Congress will do everything possible to see and release the full complete report.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

No one was indicted for collusion. There are no more indictments coming. Therefore, there was no collusion. Pretty simple.

0 ( +4 / -4 )

Interesting, Trump is claiming innocence, but the investigation didn't exonerate him.

As we can all see, the investigation was corrupt. The qanon deep-state has very clearly penetrated the Mueller investigation. The results must be cast off.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

How about investigating Israel influence?

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

We know what is not in the report. That’s all that matters.

-1 ( +4 / -5 )

Well I guess dinner in Florida with Putin is back on.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

Do not do China and Russia will be pleased.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Only a grassroots movement combined with socialism can save America from itself.

No, I think America has been doing quite well without socialism.

Socialism does not recognize the dignity of individuals, but sees them predominantly (if not solely) as tools of the state.

No nation on earth has ever achieved prosperity through centralised state control.

And all of the "wonderful social services" provided by European governments that people often rave about? They are paid for by corporations, and by individuals who work for those corporations. Those programs are supported by the taxes paid by those corporations and their employees.

And even in many of those cases, such services are being increasingly privatised.

To think that "socialism is the answer" is -- on an economic, social, and historical level -- horribly naive.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

What I will be looking for in the Mueller report is answers regarding the foundations upon which the investigation was built. Also will Mueller do the honorable thing and fully exonerate a target of investigation that he has been unable to prove any wrongdoing or will he seek to hang suspicion over that person for the rest of their lives. Besides the damaging collusion charge against President Trump I am thinking about Carter Page who was used as an excuse to surveile the Trump campaign and whose name was drug through the mud although he has to this day not been charged with any crime.

I will also be looking to see if Mueller is able to bring himself to criticize his former colleagues at the FBI for the unprofessionalism and nefarious manner in which the investigation was brought about and pursued prior to his appointment as Special Prosecutor.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

Trump tweets a lot: “the walls are closing in! He is trying to distract from bad news! He’s going down!”

Trump doesn’t tweet at all: exact same comments as above.

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

Has Trump started tweeting yet after his recent sudden silence?

FYI: Apparently he has. Says, “Good morning “ and “Make America Great Again“. He seems to be in a good mood today for some reason.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

Mueller is going to lay bare all the lying, Russian contacts, and collusion that has been in plain sight since 2015.

Oh, lincolnman... I know this is hard for you... Mueller had 2 years to "lay bare" all this stuff. He didn't do it. Because it's not there.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

Stranger: How could she be president? You said she's guilty. And now Trump is as guilty as she was.

That’s not what I said. Nice try twisting my words.

@bass: Judging by what Mueller has been doing, I think AG Barr is going to look into the obstruction on the Democrats side.

The terrible thing about the last two years is not only the damage the false claim of collusion has caused to the nation and the lasting divisions it has caused but the delay that it caused in pursuing the malfeasance that we already know took place in Obama’s DOJ and by Comey and his minions in the FBI.

In the next few months it will be time for Attorney General Barr to turn his attention to the corruption in the FISA process, the use of Russia derived disinformation to weaponize law enforcement to go after an American presidential candidate, the use of anti terrorist laws to surveile Carter Page and thus violate his 4th amendment protections, and the hi-jacking of the FBI to assist the Democrat party candidate for president.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

How about waiting for its conclusions to be released? Only then can you determine that.

You mean after almost three years of the Left calling Trump a pawn of Putin and calling anyone who doesn’t agree “Boris” we should now wait for the conclusions to be released? Hmmm - what a great idea.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Bass 4 Funk, no worries if Congress does not get the report. They can start Impeachment procedures and force Muller and the of his team to testify. If there is nothing there, then Trump would not have to hide the report. His hiding of the report equals GUILTY

No, it doesn’t mean guilty. There are tactics methods and information or there could be sealed indictments, there are a number of classified details that congress doesn’t have the right to view. So AG Barr will determine what is for public consumption and which methods they want to keep secret. It won’t happen, even if the Dems subpoena Barr or Mueller, they can do it, but whether they give up any information is an entirely different matter.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

As for the Mueller report, it's now back to the drawing board for those who hate Trump.

Two years of "Russia Russia Russia" have culminated in (as many of us knew all along) nothing.

So now his opponents will surely try to fish for something else against him. In fact, it seems they already are.

I suppose this is the go-to tactic for those who cannot actually come up with policies that are better than his.

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

Anything which falls under “executive privilege” should and will be removed from the report. Other than that it should be released in full.

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

That anything Mueller does cannot be believed because corrupt cop goon squad witch hunt? How is it that the so-called angry Dems on Mueller’steam are recommending no new indictments? I thought they were hell-bent on bringing down the Trump presidency?

They were, the only problem was, there was NO collusion so as hard as they tried, the 15 angry Democrats just couldn’t get the goods on him, result, No collusion.

Trumpsters spent two years smearing an investigative team that performed its job admirably because Trumpsters were protecting their man whatever may.

That doesn’t mean for one second that they didn’t try, but in the words of Johnny Cockren “if it doesn’t fit, you must acquit.”

You don’t hear liberals or Democrats or anti-Trumpers now smearing Mueller because he didn’t take down Trump. All you hear is gloating from the Trump cultists.

Because they have nothing. And by the way, over The last two years a lot of Trump haters were gloating that this is doing in bloom for the president and you know who you are, but it didn’t pan out like that, so yes many of us are gloating. ROFL!

-4 ( +3 / -7 )

Which, although is a negative comment about Obama, includes the implication that he was in fact the best president of modern history...

...to preside over the slowest economies, worst worker participation, highest unemployment for Blacks, the only President to have an stagnant economy under a consistent 3.0 GDP, lowest growth of the private sector..that was definitely his best for a President in modern history.

you were the only one who mentioned him, nobody else.

Of course, we could always put that entire comment down as "fake news" if you'd rather.

Nothing fake here.

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

When the report is released for all to see, then reports on it can be verified, and then trusted.

In other words, Trump is guilty regardless of what the report says.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

A large pro-Trump float behind a flatbed truck pulled up to the golf course about an hour after he arrived, adorned with American flags and "Trump 2020" signs

Hillary would call these people deplorable.

One thing we can all agree on - Mueller has been a disappointment.

Maybe another 11 years of the best president in modern history would actually fix your country.

No thanks, eight years of Obama did enough damage.

-6 ( +3 / -9 )

Reports are already emerging that this investigation has found no collusion whatsoever between Trump and any Russians.

In other words, Trump won the election fair and square.

Those who supported Hillary Clinton must finally now accept that this is a straw at which they can no longer grasp. The reason why their queen wears no crown is NOT because Trump cheated.

So, to those Americans (and others) who have kept whining about "collusion with Russia" as the reason Trump won: get over it. Looking at this from outside the U.S., I have never seen such a group of sore-losers in my life.

And now, a major reason for their sour grapes has been debunked -- as most of us with fully functioning logic-generators pretty much knew all along would happen.

-6 ( +3 / -9 )

mueller is part of a cover up, says liberal media. Wow that was quick to turn on your savior already.

-6 ( +2 / -8 )

bass 4 funk, It is too early for Trump supporters to be gloating. The report has not been released. You can bet your last yen the Democrats in Congress will do everything possible to see and release the full complete report.

Good, but that won’t happen. They will get to see many things in the report, but not every single thing, that won’t happen.

-6 ( +2 / -8 )

I appreciate Trump highly. Because he is "a man of mustle." He is the right person to represent strong America.

-7 ( +3 / -10 )

None of those charges, however, directly related to the question of collusion between the campaign and Moscow.

There was never any collusion- it was always a made up investigation meant to hobble Trumps campaign and then his presidency and help Dems win seats at election time. The whole thing was started by Hillary’s collusion with Russian intelligence. She actually paid for it from her campaign funds.

-8 ( +4 / -12 )

Nothing will benefit America by bringing down Trump. Do they think Clinton made America better? I do not think the suspected Russian interference, even if it was true, affected the result of the election. Choosing Trump for the president of America proved right. America is better than before. The argument is silly. They are rewinding the clock.

-9 ( +6 / -15 )

U.S. Attorney General William Barr

There's a new sheriff in town, Democrats and RINOS.

No thanks, eight years of Obama did enough damage.

Thank you for your admission of who the best president in modern history is.

I made no such admission. If you can't figure out that I don't think Obama was the best president in history from my comment, that's your shortcoming.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the Russia narrative was the foundation for so much of the anti Trump hysteria. The level of mental gymnastics required to keep it going is going to be staggering, but the left has been in training for this moment for years now. Prepare yourselves for some medal winning performances.

-9 ( +1 / -10 )

Will Trump get a third term to make up for this 2 year witch hunt which has made him waste a lot of time?

And now that this is finally over, Mueller can get back to searching for those WMD that he told us with certainty Iraq definitely had when he was FBI Director.
