This guy belongs in prison. But Trump will pardon him at some point. Criminal protect each other.

Just another one of Trump's loser buddies indicted.

4 ( +7 / -3 )

This administration is corrupt right to the core.  And a fish rots from the head down.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

My guess is that "Organization 1" is the Trump Organization and the "associates" include Trump Jr. Stone doesn't need to testify; I'm sure Mueller has already connected the dots and gathered evidence. But Stone's refusal to cooperate will make his sentencing much worse.

3 ( +5 / -2 )

Seems no one is interested that all of these “crimes” are a direct result of the Mueller investigation itself. process crimes.

A crime is a crime, but attempt to minimize it all you want.. Don't lie under oath and you don't have anything to worry about.

Why are you so against justice being served?

3 ( +5 / -2 )

The writing is on the wall. Associate after associate after associate, in ever narrowing circles that lead higher and higher on the food chain, have been shown to be in collusion with the Russians to meddle in the 2016 election.

It is only a matter of time before that 'senior campaign official' comes out as either a blood relative of Trump, or Trump himself.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Mueller serving up more justice! Trump will start fraying even more. Wait until the House starts flinging subpoenas at him! Oh, the fun we'll have.

We'll soon here complaints about this being a "witch hunt" from people that abhor the rule of law when it's applied to their people. If Stone starts cooperating, these same people will claim he isn't credible because they have zero idea how the justice system actually works. It will be hilarious.

2 ( +5 / -3 )

Dont forget Trump fans here say the FBI is corrupt and Trump can shut Mueller down....but no need to.

I guess it means Trump wants Stone behind bars.

Which Trump fans will declare to be 100% okay.

I always thought Manafort was the most disgusting swamp creature in Trump's orbit, but this guy Stone has him beat. Comes out of his court hearing and strikes a "Nixon" pose - that pretty much says it all...

How can Trumpsters defend this guy that has spent all his life in Washington, getting money stuffed in his pockets, wearing $5K suits, and scamming people. He's the definition of a swamp creature.

Now he's implicated in lying under oath, a consistent theme in Trump World, and conspiring with another disgusting creature, Julian Assange - to collude with a foreign entity to influence an election.

What's the common variable in all of this - Russia - the one theme that underlies everything, and is the core objective of Mueller's investigation.

Everyone associated with Trump is in some way connected to Russians...

2 ( +4 / -2 )

How do you know he won't be indicted again?

Well, the corrupt cops can do anything, so you’re guess is as good as mine.

You bet it can happen - just ask John Gotti...

Lying under oath is not a financial crime. Conspiring with a foreign power to influence an election is not a financial crime. And didn't you hear Rudy, he never said there was no collusion between Russia and the campaign (even though both he and Trump did) - just none between Russia and Trump.

I am not talking about, if my hunch is correct, his case might end up just Papadapolous, in the end I don’t think he will get much time if at all, especially based on these charges, especially the man has never been to prison or had trouble with the law, he does have a lot going for him on the positive side.

Your hunch may need some further study. He's facing 50 years on 7 counts. Witness tampering alone is 20 years...

Why are you trying to protect him - he a bigger sleazeball and disgusting swamp creature than Manafort or Cohen. He's a creature of Washington - been there all his life, hanging around other swampers and the mob.

Why are you routing for him to go to prison? Based on what? Here we go again, Mueller has nothing, no Russians and nothing can can implicate the President on anything because there wasn’t any collusion and no evidence that we have as of yet that supports it. Still wondering how CNN knew of his arrest before anyone else.......just odd...

Because he's disgusting scum - just like Cohen and Manafort. How could someone who said they want to clean the swamp stick up for this sleaze?

As for the tip off, my money is on Kelly Anne...

Hey, if he was arrested for lying under oath, why hasn’t James Comey also been arrested?

Good point! Apparently laws only apply to those who are Trump associates, and or his supporters.

That's why Clapper and Brennan and Hillary and Holder and a bunch of other low-lifes haven't been arrested either.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Yeah, OK, wipeout, that was a bit of an overstatement I'll admit. My point is, there is a double standard in this country when it comes to the law. One standard for Comey, Clinton, etc. and one for the rest of us.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Lock him up!

Trump said he was going to drain the DC swamp. Looks like Mueller's doing that job for him.

Drain Trump's swamp!

1 ( +4 / -3 )

The question emerges yet again: Is there anyone associated with the Trump campaign who is NOT a criminal?

1 ( +4 / -3 )

Laguna, Organization 1 is the Trump Org/campaign. The question that still remains is who is the high level executive in the org that told Stone to gather the info.

I agree, I highly suspect that it is someone either of Trump blood or married into the Trump family.

1 ( +4 / -3 )

My bad, I misread the excerpts of the document, Org 1 is not the Trump Campaign. They were the ones that the Trump Campaign reached out to.

1 ( +4 / -3 )

Sarah Sanders says:

*“the question and the big thing that the Mueller investigation is supposed to center on is whether the president in some outrageous way colluded with Russia. And the answer to that is no.”*

Ha ha. Let's move the goalposts again. First the story was no collusion by anyone. Rudy's latest baloney assertion is that Trump's campaign team may have colluded, but not the president himself. And now Sanders' is suggesting that Trump may have colluded with Russia but not "outrageously".

Protect the queen bee!

Stay strong, sweet prince.

That's a joke, right?

1 ( +3 / -2 )

But there is no Russian connection that

We know of yet.

How did Stone have advanced knowledge of the Wikileaks dump? Where did Wikileaks get the stolen emails?

Why would Stone lie to the FBI if he weren't hiding anything?

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Any collusion yet?

Well, Trump's surrogates have moved on from the "no collusion" talking point to the "the president didn't collude."

Also, worth noting Mueller has charged Russians with helping the Trump campaign. Now Mueller has alleged stone was a conduit between Wikileaks and the Trump campaign. Any collusion yet? You connect the dots.;)

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Roger Stone is charged with the capital crime of providing inaccurate information to the FBI concerning his precise whereabouts on May 23, 1997 during the 11 AM hour. Which is why the FBI needed to go to his house in riot gear.

Hey, if he was arrested for lying under oath, why hasn’t James Comey also been arrested?

Roger Stone gets arrested

Leftists: WE GOT DRUMPF

Shows no evidence of link with Russia

Leftists: ........ BERNIE IS RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Oh MAN!! Stone is one guy I LOVE to HATE! I'm so glad he was arrested, but unfortunately as zurcronium said, he's probably going to be pardoned. I

CrazyJoe

The question emerges yet again: Is there anyone associated with the Trump campaign who is NOT a criminal?

Of Course Not Joe! Are you crazy?? LOL!

0 ( +3 / -3 )

flashing the twin "V for Victory" signs that the disgraced President Richard Nixon was famous for.

He has a back tattoo bearing the late president's face.

There's absolutely nothing fishy about this guy whatsoever. Stay strong, sweet prince!

0 ( +2 / -2 )

A longtime ally of U.S. President Donald Trump was arrested on Friday for lying to Congress

There were three women lying to Congress at the Brett Kavangh hearings and yet not one has been arrested by the FBI.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

It amazes me how these Mueller witch hunts go on and on when Hillary had enough evidence against her to bury an elephant.

An intelligent person would question whether maybe they were lied to about their having been so much evidence, and about their being no evidence this time.

Winners question whether they have a mistaken opinion on matters, and adjust accordingly.

Winners.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

But there is no Russian connection that’s the thing, nothing in Stone’s indictment says that.

How do you know he won't be indicted again?

Bigger question, why did Manafort, Gates, Flynn, Papadapolous, Don Jr, Jared, Cohen, and now Stone all lie when asked about their contacts with Russians?

So we are back to financial crimes once again and still No collusion.

Lying under oath is not a financial crime. Conspiring with a foreign power to influence an election is not a financial crime. And didn't you hear Rudy, he never said there was no collusion between Russia and the campaign (even though both he and Trump did) - just none between Russia and Trump.

Why are you trying to protect him - he a bigger sleazeball and disgusting swamp creature than Manafort or Cohen. He's a creature of Washington - been there all his life, hanging around other swampers and the mob.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

You bet it can happen - just ask John Gotti...

....or Comey, Strzok, Page, McCabe, Ohr.....

That's a low shot, even for you Bass - these folks worked hard putting mobsters away - equating them with Gotti is just wrong.

Your hunch may need some further study. He's facing 50 years on 7 counts. Witness tampering alone is 20 years...

Ok, then Trump pardons him and then what?

You seem to think Trump's pardon is some magic wand - every time he uses it to save one of his crooked cronies, the Repubs in the Senate will get closer to impeaching him.

Because he's disgusting scum - just like Cohen and Manafort. How could someone who said they want to clean the swamp stick up for this sleaze?

If you think he’s a sleaze then thank God we didn’t get that woman in office, she’s so bad, I can’t even verbally call her by what she really is (decency standards dictate it)

Don't dodge - do you think he's sleaze?

0 ( +3 / -3 )

Seems no one is interested that all of these “crimes” are a direct result of the Mueller investigation itself. process crimes.

Oh, then they should be excused from prosecution?

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Who is the prosecutor for Stone?

here is a hint: “As a private sector lawyer, Rhee represented both the Clinton Foundation and Hillary personally. “

Hah, that's awesome! I love the irony.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

America is safer now that Roger Stone has been arrested! Good job, Mueller! Now hurry up and manufacture some collusion!

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

Trump's in trouble now: Nancy's on the case. Her recent statement on the Stone indictment indicates she will be relentless.

Oh, and Black, no, these are not "process" cases, but prefer to believe that if you would like. Reality has a tendency to intrude, though.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

But if all Mueller finds is people lied to HIM, jokes on all of you.

Totally, because people lie to police all the time for NO reason. Totally. Make sense. The joke is on me. ;)

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Lying to Congress is a serious matter - if people are excused for lying to Congress, then that incentivizes more "not telling the truth". And nobody wants that

Question is, if the allegation is true, what's so bad it has to stay hidden that Stone got compelled to lie in front of Congress about it? It has to had been critical information because otherwise Stone wouldn't do something so serious as lying to Congress of all things

Also the guy seems to be a Nixon worshipper - and we all know what Nixon is famous for. For someone like him who would hate what WikiLeaks stands for, it's ironically astonishing Stone would be supporting WikiLeaks

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Because Mueller was appointed to find previous crimes. Not to cause new ones.

So how was CNN there? Why was he released on his own signature if he is so dangerous that a raid was required?

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

Who is the prosecutor for Stone?

here is a hint: “As a private sector lawyer, Rhee represented both the Clinton Foundation and Hillary personally. “

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

Fair minded people wouldn’t call that “irony”. Comey, Clapper, Brennan, McCabe all lied to Congress. When is their raid?

-2 ( +4 / -6 )

Serrano's so-called "sweet prince" has an odd obsession with Richard Nixon. I thought the Nixon portrait back tattoo was as weird as it gets, until I read that Stone also has a collection of Tricky Dick themed bongs! I just hope Serrano isn't heading for a tattoo parlor in Venice Beach to beg the staff for a Roger Stone back piece. How 'bout Stone on one arm and Nixon on the other--a more balanced look for that virgin tattoo?

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

Mueller knows this is his final curtain closing. He is wasting tax payers money on going after Trump's friends.

It amazes me how these Mueller witch hunts go on and on when Hillary had enough evidence against her to bury an elephant.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

But if all Mueller finds is people lied to HIM, jokes on all of you.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

It's on the people who angrily denied allegations made about their Russian connections and other activities, and then steadily, methodically had their stories and their excuses absolutely destroyed, both by the media and by the investigation.

And it's on the rube supporters. The saps who one day found they had to do a 180 on Michael Cohen and the other rats.

But there is no Russian connection that’s the thing, nothing in Stone’s indictment says that. So we are back to financial crimes once again and still No collusion.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

@Serrano you still call it a witch hunt wow thats some pretty impressive hunting by the way.....

Any collusion yet?

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation

Thank God Mueller isn't investigating the COV CATH 16 year old for staring.

For now.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

Yeah, OK, wipeout, that was a bit of an overstatement I'll admit. My point is, there is a double standard in this country when it comes to the law. One standard for Comey, Clinton, etc. and one for the rest of us.

BS...

Manafort lied and was colluding with Russians...  Trumpers;  But what about Hillary....

Flynn was talking with Russians then lied about it to Congress and the Vice President...   Trumpers;  But what about Comey...

Stone was talking to Corsi who was talking with Assange who was getting hacked e-mails from Russia...  Trumpers;  But what about....uh....uh....Monica Lewinsky!

They can't wrap their brain around all the bad news....and much more is coming...

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

This was pathetic, but funny at the same time, Stone wasn’t anywhere close to being a flight risk, the man is so well known, especially in Florida, they had all of his emails, they constantly listening to him, they were constantly watching him and surveillancing his residence, I mean, the man had a T-shirt, apparently had to tell the cops not to shoot his wife because she’s deaf. This raid was made to embarrass him. 29 armed federal agents...he’s not Sammy “the bull” and posed a threat to anyone. Witch hunt on steroids. All they had to do was to make a phone call to his lawyer and to tell him to bring his client in very simple, but they wanted that intense dramatic video and it is really ironic that CNN was there a new before everyone else. Hmmmm....

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

We know of yet.

Thank you!

Trump to Stone: Don't worry, Roger. If worst comes to worst, I will pardon you. Stay strong, sweet prince.

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

12 agents gun drawn 6am for suspected lying. CNN somehow on-site. Other suspected liar asked politely to show up with lawyers over 4th of July with no recordings or transcripts.

Yeah ok.
