Not just now, for over the last 30 years both parties have abandoned one of our most helpful allies in that region. More reason why the establishment must go.

Interesting, USA is arming and train both Kurds ad Iraqis. They have "advisors" and contractors on both sides. This will be interesting.

If Turkey over the decades has not been able to win against their own Kurds, then I do not expect the Iraqis or Iranians to be able do so either. Clashes will continue until the Kurds have forged their own nation, or something similar, recognized and acceptable by all three states.
