Trump will accomplish nothing.

Why the need for more negotiations and another summit? I thought Trump solved everything with his Singapore photo opp?

I'm all for finding some peace deal with nKorea - but the imbecile Trump ain't the guy to do it.

Kim has so far taken him to the cleaners, and doing his best to drive a wedge between sKorea and the US.

The Summit is just another distraction, one of many to come, as more bombshells and revelations come out on the Trump Crime family; the one Robert Mueller is dismantling just like he did John Gotti's...

Kim wants SK money and technology, Moon wants NK nukes and natural resources.

Trump is giving Kim a little more rope and when he’s had a enough, Congress will tighten the sanctions, now will them make him cry “uncle?” That’s not the point, something liberals don’t get, the point is to make it as unbearably painful for the regime as possible. And they haven’t had sanctions as punishing as these. We have money, food, all the comforts and time, Kim doesn’t.

First, the US gives nothing to nKorea - food, fuel etc. Everything that nKorea gets comes from and thru China, with a small bit thru Russia and thru illegal shipping.

Kim's charm offensive has meant China and Russia are mostly ignoring the sanctions, and it wouldn't surprise me if sKorea is too....

Yet Trump agrees to reduce our exercises and training in Skorea and Kim gives up nothing - in fact he has continued to build new missile facilities.

Trump must feel like a fool - instead of swindling others like he is used to, he got swindled and played...

And at the next Summit he'll get played even more - all while trying to distract from Cohen and his tapes, recording, memos, erc., proving Trump telling him to lie to Congress ...

Yet he still has time to keep 280+ promises he made and still continue to meet with North Korea to continue the relations.

But he did promise to meet with North Korea with an intention of denuclearization and normalizing relations. That promise still ongoing, this is proof of that effort.

Probably, but it’s still not enough to sustain the nation, China and their economy slowing because of the trade talks, Russia with its fluttering economy. That can only go on for so long, not to mention feeding the troops in this situation is not making it easier.

Being played goes both ways and right now, we have the cash, the sanctions and the military might of the US to back up that diplomacy. Yes, China will be fine, but they have their own people and they’re not, cannot and will not be NK lifeline, just enough to keep his eyes above water, they know the President is unpredictable and would cut off and sanction China and the Chinese don’t want to go through more sanctions either since we are their biggest trading partner they know that won’t fly. They can hurt us financially and we can do the same right back to them. Russia has their own financial and internal problems, they won’t go to bat to the great lengths China would in regard to propping up the regime.

But he hasn't, and the troops readiness and training continue to decrease. Mattis left for a reason.

I'm worried about the Northern border, and all our airports and seaports where 99% of the terrorists enter our country - what is it Trumpers don't get about numbers - 6 individuals on the terror list were stopped at the southern border, the remaining 3994 were stopped at the northern border and our air and sea ports. And the Trump shutdown is making those less secure.

Why not say, I'll give you your Summit, but our inspectors get to visit and inspect your nuclear weapons sites- you can keep them for the moment - but we want to see them and see how powerful they are...
