You're probably right, Stranger, not many Turks are pissed at Erdogan for holding the pastor, leading to these sanctions and a ruined currency.

You may be right though, like how millions of Americans hate Trump for his ridiculous trade wars he has started with the world, putting some out of work, with many more to follow.

Erdogan must be some kind of masochist for holding onto this pastor. A lot more of his countrymen are pissed at him at this point.

Doubtful.

Now Turkey and Russia are getting friendlier by the day, because that’s how responsible countries act.

Russia is the nation equivalent of a troll. An entirely irresponsible and pathetic country. They ran a state sponsored doping program at the Olympics. Hardly a responsible country. On the contrary it’s entirely childish.

They can't take our people."

'Our people' in this case means the evangelicals, a large percent of his base. Trump's the lowest form of politician, one who'll put his political career ahead of the nation as a whole.

But this is to be expected when a thug businessman, a man who's long been my-money-first-at-any-cost, in the White House.

Putin’s always ready to extend the hand of friendship

He should send more pilots for target practice.

Sorry Turks, but Trump has too much of a personal interest in getting our boy home. It buys him a free pass with evangelicals for all of his sleazy actions, which is a huge payoff.

That's to say he will watch all of you starve to get something that helps him personally.

Putin’s always ready to extend the hand of dictatorship.

^ Fixed that for you.

Turkey is under economic attack from the US.

Everybody knows that the US does this to countries like Venezuela and Iran, but Turkey is supposed to be a NATO ally.

Trump has made it clear America has no allies anymore, including NATO.
