A law-and-order president would be for this

Constitutional government is designed to protect the rights of the nations citizens, not to facilitate their arrest and imprisonment. Thomas Jefferson, one of America's founders and early Presidents once wrote:

"I hold it that a little rebellion now and then is a good thing, and as necessary in the political world as storms in the physical.1 Unsuccesful rebellions indeed generally establish the incroachments on the rights of the people which have produced them. An observation of this truth should render honest republican governors so mild in their punishment of rebellions, as not to discourage them too much. It is a medecine necessary for the sound health of government."

A law-and-order president would be for this

Macron seemingly learned nothing from the yellow vest movement. People are sick of the police corruption and abuse of power. Sick of their endemic racism. Sick of them taxing the motorist. Sick of covid19.

The country is a powder keg right now.

Hong Kong has this powerful law, the effect has a pivot effect to scare off troublemakers and the riots ceased to occur instantly! Some people has been jailed by the court due to their exposure of these photos or informations,a willful intention to advocate protestors harassing police and their families!  

Good luck France, you might need years or decades to finish your debating in the parliament!

Who are they kidding? As soon as a new organization says anything uncomplimentary about the conduct of police officers video recorded and published on their evening news or website, there will be prosecutions under this law. Xi Jinping is surely smiling at this idea.

Police acting professionally, have nothing to fear from cameras.
