More Democrats voted for this than Republicans. And easy to see why, Dark Brandon negotiated a hell of a deal fro the Dems. Republicans got token wins so that they can say they got something to their constituents.

Huge win for Biden.

What an embarrassment.

I hope you all know this is just a big show so that the politicians look like they are doing some work.

It's totally fake.

Default never in cards, pure media hype, debt servicing continued in 2011 with Govt. shutdown of +1 month.

However, good job on capping US Govt. discretionary spending. Amazingly in US House, slightly more d's supported than r's, so truly bipartisan. As all agree inflation's new tax on little guy and strong economic growth not possible in high inflation environment.

Default certainly was on the cards.

Nope. The GOPs hated it. Only 17 Republicans voted for it.

Trump and the GOP's tax cuts for the richest helped the them, but are hurting the poor and middle class, the GOP have never ben known for caring about the country, except for the elite establishment.

Agree Michael.

A petty posturing political charade....

Playing loose and fast with the worlds most powerful economy, threatening global financial wellbeing.

On the pretense to peddle/create the appearance of conflict, whilst wallowing in ideological brinkmanship.

And US people voted for this nonsense.
