Left someone out. What’s climate activism have to do with “peace”?

Speculation ahead of Friday's peace prize has meanwhile focused on press freedom groups, Swedish teenager Greta Thunberg and other climate activists, or several U.N. organizations.

Thank you for the hard works for the development of antiviral drugs directed at hepatitis C. This pill will cost you a lot a lot of $$$$$. Now lets find a way to cure Cirrhosis and a Alcolholic breverage that doesn't do any harm to your Liver so we all can keep drinking daily :)

Gee Black, as the Syrian civil war is widely regarded as being caused by climate change, it would seem to be rather relevant.

Let’s face it, your hostility has more to do with the fact that your boy has as about as much chance of being recognized as I have of flying the space shuttle.

A well deserved award for discovery of hepatitis C, which was the leading cause of liver cancer, and now can be cured in most people with a pill.

Major world conflicts are expected over water. Doing something to try and prevent those conflicts is certainly noteworthy and commendable. Given the growing global population, industrial pollution and climate change, safe access to potable water is not a given in many parts of the world and it is thus considered a serious commodity for which people are willing to risk their lives.

Great to these guys for having their names published on the "paper" and winning, but I sincerely hope the "grunts" get some recognition for their part too!
