Just blame everything on china, blame China for budget deadlock too.

Yeah, the Republicans aren't going to be able to cut anything specific like the COFA. Probably not a huge concern if China wants to lay down a casino.

Well since you mentioned it, we already know trump*rs admire Putin. Probably won't be too long until they admit their admiration for Xi, too.

The warring Repubs could care less about our national security - they're too busy calling each other "lying dogs"....which if I was a dog, I'd be offended to be compared to a Repub....

Their Ultra MAGA King has praised Xi to high heaven, and half of the stuff you can buy at the Trumpstore.com is made in China....

And we can't forget that secret Chinese bank account that he lied about and said he closed...

Trump loves his fellow tin-pot dictators...it's who he wants to be....

The Republicans are against Black and minorites by default,so it should be an opening to politically nail the political coffin in the Republicans party, that is majority made up of White people and you figure why they are dysfunctional

Eastman as an American,I see this as an option to bring the US under judicial rule, since court has the last say in anything

The photo isn’t right. Bainimarama is not the current Fiji PM. He was ousted in elections last year. This looks to be a dated photo from the wrong year…

Since America's national security is not in Micronesia, Papua New Guinea, Palau, or the Marshall Islands, Fiji, nor the Solomon islands, nor any other other West Pacific areas, I have to wonder what in the world gives you this idea to post it here.

About the biggest contribution to America national security any of them played was to have the privilege of being an American nuclear test site.

Also the article clearly says these areas have been neglected for decades. I suppose the Repub side of the Uniparty is guilty of that too?

One has to wonder what percentage of Chinese money is going to make up America's next budget anyway.

Doesn't matter as bonds are auctioned and don't confer any voting rights.

America's national security is everywhere that 11 time zone Russia and 1.4 billion pound gorilla China can reach.

That makes no sense...

Not as bad as Siberia...

Also the article clearly says these areas have been neglected for decades. I suppose the Repub side of the Uniparty is guilty of that too?

They're guilty of everything...

One has to wonder what percentage of Chinese money is going to make up America's next budget anyway.

Not as much as Putin and Xi are giving their BFF Trump...

economy had already taken bad hits from COVID-19 and Chinese economic interference

Still some Republicans, especially those in the extreme right Q/kook wing, do not want torisk upsetting China because China supports Russia the RICO's continue to show their disdain for the US. Most R's would probably be happier in Hungary or Belarus, i.e. a nation where s 'strong rich white man' tells people how to live.
