Lunacy! And yet if they really wanted to de-escalate the Middle East and avoid WW3 the cronies in Washington could have forced the war criminals in Israel to stop slaughtering civilians and displacing millions! Guess we know who controls the US…

US airstrikes: a perennial solution in search of a problem.

Attacking US military is a bad idea, even killing only 13 and injuring 100 others. In the 1990s, we were asleep. Not since 2001. Never again. Violence will receive violence.

The news here says that all the Iranians have left the country days ago and that the people responsible for using the weapons against the US had left and mixed with women and children to avoid being killed. The warning was clearly broadcast, so anyone injured or killed can blame themselves or their leaders.

The U.S. military said in a statement that the strikes hit targets including command and control centers, rockets, missiles and drone storage facilities, as well as logistics and munition supply chain facilities.

Their equipment is gone now. If there are any more attacks against the US bases or ships in the region, more bombers will come.

Good old US, out of US: Bombing, bombing and bombing countries..

Good old US, inside US: Shooting, shooting and shooting people..

Hopeless savage violent lost country..

Knee jerk reaction is par for the course for American foreign policy for some time now. I'm sure those desert lizards and scorpions had it coming to them.

This article mentions Biden and the repatriation of service members remains. He called up one of the grieving families the other day and repeated his lie that his son died in Iraq (which didn't happen). The media gave him another pass.

-5 ( +6 / -11 )

Iranian proxies enter the “find out” part of the equation.

-4 ( +5 / -9 )

Called it. Biden doesn't have the nuts and bolts to hit Tehran. Busy with Gaza and Yemen you see.

It’s a shame that the only way to successfully communicate with these terrorists and savages is through violence.

-1 ( +5 / -6 )

Sad to say but claims by US military sources have the same credibility as claims by the Israel military sources.

The Houthis run their on race and are not Iran Proxies...maybe they receive some funding but look at all the other countries the US funds.

But the Houthis dont take orders from Iran

Yes, that's why they attacked the US.

Escalation continues seems a heavy response to ONE Drone hitting a remote US base. Proportional?

US gave Iran's IRG time to clear out, so at least that's positive. Russia/China/Iran/NK axis will pump many more weapons, especially missiles into region. Why?

Global inflation and negative public sentiment catalyst's their goal, causing massive political and economic damage to west, putting a floor on energy prices etc.

Domestic terror in US & Europe likely coming soon....

The US needs to attack Iran directly. Destroy their armaments factories where Iran makes their drones, ballistic missiles and cruise missiles. Destroy their airports and military airfields and sink their navy. Destroy their oil refineries. Destroy their petroleum loading and unloading ports. The only way to deter Iran is with a disproportionate response. Make it clear that if that isn't enough to stop the attacks the next series of raids will flatten their power plants and destroy their energy sector entirely.

Do you really think most Americans would support a military operation in Iran? I don't. Americans are tired. They were lied to about Iraq and conditions on the ground in Afghanistan.

In my humble opinion, they should continue targeted strikes on Houthi terrorists, and keep it at that.

""While the U.S. strikes did not target any locations inside Iran, they are likely to increase concern about tensions escalating in the Middle East from Israel's more than three-month-old war with Palestinian Hamas militants in Gaza.""

Spot on except for the "" Hamas militants ""

""What does militant mean in slang?

Aggressive, Violent, Belligerent, Assertive, Pushy which fully describes Both Israel and Hamas ""

Yesterday was the observed 45th anniversary of a cornerstone event in Iran's history. Read books, don't burn them.

Desert tortoise must think Iran is defenseless.

Sorry to disillusion you but a US attack on Iran would not play out like the attack on Iraq.

If you want Tel Aviv destroyed {Israel is an American proxy then go ahead.

Two additional points

Whats left behind when the west destroys other nation states...CHAOS !!!...look at Syria, Iraq and Libya for a few examples.

and 2/ using the word "DESTROY " repeatedly sound like a video game.

Instead for going after the RESULTS, how about going after the CAUSE!?

YOU Doing it BACKWARDS Joe.

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

Attacks from Yemen?

Then the US bombs Iraq and Syria and is complicit in the bombing of Gaza!

The US is well away from all these countries so why?

Biden is so completely lost that he has to be medically evaluated because there isn’t a capable leader in the US!

We've all seen NK nonconventional weapons windfall of late due to US NATO Ukraine Proxy War and the strategic proliferation from Russian and China to NK.

Iran's MUCH more important to Russia China Axis, one should assume as do intel communities, that Russian & Chinese proliferation to Iran post US NATO Ukraine Proxy War = MUCH Greater and more Lethal than NK.

If one wants WWIII full-stop, and not simply Ukraine style trench warfare, then by all means strike inside Iran.

As predicted, a bunch of very expensive missiles hitting long evacuated bases in the desert. The US was kind enough to give nearly a weeks notice. They will probably report a huge casualty count but have no way of verifying. All good, honor restored and an expansion of war avoided.

Nothing in Iran. Just a bunch of abandoned targets in the desert thanks to the 6 day delay.

You don't know what was hit anymore than I do. The patriot would not assume these are "abandoned targets in the desert". Also the Orange Menace would not have the guts to strike Iran, either.

If it took out just 3 IRGC criminals, this was successful.

Most likely innocent people, adding to the list of victims. Call it "collateral damage".

Thank you Biden.

I wonder how many empty shacks in the desert were destroyed by these strikes?

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

US Military Industrial Complex the big winner, more munitions and missile $contracts on the way!

Against US air power they are. I am talking strictly air attacks. No ground forces necessary. Eliminate their ability to operate aircraft, level their power plants and energy infrastructure. Flatten their arms factories and energy infrastructure. No electricity, no operable runways, no working ports, no power, no refineries, no fuel to to run equipment to fix anything and no factories to replace losses. All of this can be accomplished with air power alone.
