Stop leaning on the government.
Check government benefits.
For the Dems indefinitely
They can't, not in this Marxist tax greed environment, won't happen.
Millions of employers can't even get people to go back to work.
Ok, Trump has nothing to do with the current admin.
Blacklabel
really? The first thing he said is that illegal aliens are not citizens. That’s not correct?
bass4funk
Says the people that talk constantly about Trump in every capacity of life.
It is all correct.
So you're saying low-skilled workers should be paid more to do poverty jobs? Why?
I understand that, but illegals and DACA have to wait, that's it, they are not in the position to demand anything, Obama should have never (just like with the Iran treaty) gotten involved with this unilaterally, it should have gotten bipartisan support and Congress should have passed a law, but given the fact that our borders are completely out of control, we need to get that back into control and then at a later date deal with DACA, not before.

Not this time.
It will.

Definitely not this bunch in the White House.
Illegal aliens are not citizens, the majority that is coming are low-skilled workers, and add to that a lot of people are not going to work because if the government is paying you the same amount to stay home then why go back and none of these people can do high-skilled labor work or at least the overwhelming majority of them
With the influx of thousands of illegals, send them to Camp David, Delaware or Maine, upscale California, NYC Oregon, and everywhere the rich liberals live since they have the money and can take care of these people properly, seems fair and the appropriate thing to do
I don't and never did, I demonize Myorkas, Garland, Harris, and Biden.
Again, 2022 can't come soon enough.

Reality is demeaning that’s why people fantasize!!!
ulysses
Even if they cannot put ‘breaks’ I am sure it will break them when the GOP loses yet another election.
That will put a ‘brake’ on their wayward thinking!!!
lincolnman
So how are they specifically going to "break" them?
Well, we certainly know Trump Tower, Bedminster, and Mar-A-Lago were protected areas for the last four years...

Ulysses, with respect that is utter nonsense and it is demeaning to both the illegal immigrants and Americans.
There is no such thing as a job nobody wants to do. There ARE jobs that nobody wants to do because the pay is too low. And why is it so low? Because unscrupulous employers can exploit illegal immigrants and offer them wages that Americans wouldn't accept for the same job. The presence of illegals creates downward pressure on wages, which also hurts vulnerable Americans who would otherwise compete for the same jobs.
Ever see the tv show "Dirty Jobs"? It shows people doing mindblowingly terrible and horrid jobs. Far worse than working in a field or a meat processing plant or cutting grass in August. The key is the compensation.
ulysses
Illegal immigrants are here because there are enough jobs that Americans don’t want to do.
Even the former guy said he couldn’t find workers in summer for Mar a Lago , because no one wanted to work in the heat.
So instead of demonizing the immigrants wouldn’t it be better to find a safer alternative, where they could work without the constant threat of deportation.
ulysses
ROFL, I don’t think you can count that much!!!!

Comment number 2 and "Don's Law" comes into the conversation. Perhaps a record...
Illegal means just that, illegal. Law breakers. I don't see any other federal laws that have 'safe zones' which deter enforcement. As theFu said, immigration law needs to be updated and possibly numbers need to be increased. But at the same time, there has to be enforcement. What is happening these days, unvaxxed and untested people being shipped around the country, midnight flights secretly hauling illegals to unknowing cities, all has to stop. People will come illegally as long as they can get away with it. Remove the incentives and you will go a long way to fixing the problem.
bass4funk
Can’t wait until the GOP retake the House and put the breaks on these people. Counting the days. :D
Blacklabel
So then illegal families just live in church basements again to avoid legitimate deportation efforts.
that’s not progress at all towards resolving this growing problem of illegal immigration.
ulysses
Totally reasonable, children should be free to attend schools , go to playgrounds etc. Then there is the issue of exploitation of these workers by mostly right wing crooks. The workers should have the freedom to ask for what is due to them!!!
ulysses
Sir, that would mean the former president having to shut most of his resorts and the right wing wouldn’t like that. They are only against illegals being employed by ordinary Americans, the rich can do whatever they want!!!!
theFu
This is crazy. There shouldn't be any "safe" place for people breaking laws.
I'm not against safe times - like post-disaster, when human lives at risk matter more than immigration law.
Congress needs to do their job. Make laws that set a huge annual limit on legal immigration and close all the loopholes for illegal immigration. Go after the illegal immigrants, the places providing housing, the schools, the DMV and the employers. No exceptions.
Hiring or housing someone illegally in the country should have huge consequences - lose your business or your house or your rental building - that sort of consequences.
