Ermahgerd, it's the start of WW3.

It may well be, precipitated by the illegal invasion of Iraq.

Why dont they directly address Iran? If they are blaming Iran for everything.

No, other countries, civilians must be punished. Iran stays untouched, because Iran has nuclear weapons.

Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Lebanon's Hezbollah are all backed by Tehran.

Group of winners we have here.

They did.

Biden has sent a rare message to Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei warning Tehran against targeting U.S. personnel in the Middle East, the White House said earlier on Thursday.

"What we want is for Iran to take very specific actions, to direct its militias and proxies to stand down," a senior U.S. defense official said. The United States did not coordinate the air strikes with Israel, the official added.

These precision self-defense strikes

So that's what you call it when you illegally invade a sovereign country, occupy their land and plunder their resources - and then attack them and call it "self-defense"

Or only when NATO does it. Hypocrites.

Iran also backed Hamas' massacre committed against civilians in Israel.

Anyone taking Iran's side on this?

Hamas was more backed by Qatar, Turkey, US, and Israel than by Iran.

That's a hell of a delay. What is it 20 years?

We're there with the permission of Iraq and Syria is a basket case regardless of the US. Cherry-pickers.

I believe some sources are in order that the US and Israel have backed Hamas in this decade. Or even the previous decade.

World Police at it again. They just cant keep their hands to themselves as we draw closer and closer to the end of the US-led world order.

That's right, the US is the world's police. That's what the civilized world wants.

Hamas was more backed by Qatar, Turkey, US, and Israel than by Iran.

Hamas terrorists trained in Iran for the Israel massacre.

They did not train in the US.

The Iranians are in the FO part of the FA-FO continuum.

They can learn the easy way or they can learn the hard way, but they ARE going to learn there are consequences for targeting US forces, even by proxy.

"We're there with the permission of Iraq and Syria is a basket case regardless of the US."

The Iraq government voted overwhelmingly to expel US troops in 2020 but they refuse to leave and it makes no difference if you believe that Syria is a basket case, the US troops are there illegally, in order to steal Syria's natural resources.

Didn't get passed the headline I see

*U.S. and coalition troops have been attacked at least 19 times in Iraq and in Syria by Iran-backed forces** in the past week. Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Lebanon's Hezbollah are all backed by Tehran.*

If Syria is a basket case and that is the benchmark to invite oneself in, then Ukraine is a basket case too and certain parties are free to crash the party.

Still NATO hypocrisy.

Their Orwellian term for a Special Military Operation is "self-defense". Got it.

didn’t congress need to be informed? The American people should get some urgent communication from our pResident as to why it was done?

So, it turns out there are some proxy wars that certain quarters take a dim view of...

The double standards are mind boggling.

Wouldn't these attacks cease if they went home...

Biden can end this SMO right now and pull out his troops.

Hmmm, that’s what all those guys buzzing around here have been up to :)

Likewise, you didn't have a problem when Trump did it. Did it cause WW3?

This conflict could have been contained in the Palestine-Israel sub-region if the leaders in the West did not characterize it primarily as a war against terrorism. Israel's occupation, which has been feeding oxygen to the radical groups, is neglected and the scope of the war is becoming exploding to good vs. evil, darkness vs. light. Alas... I completely agree with Guterres when he said the conflict did not start with a vacuum.

It makes no difference what you believe: the Iraqi executive officers have kept the US on and the US does not see a penny from Syria's oil.

Ukraine has been extremely unified in killing Russians but feel free to keep yelling "Hypocrisy!". Someone is surely listening to you.
