Sudan has been in a state of strife and abuses for over 40 years. Sanctions on their government can work on these cretins too, like it did on South Africa, Libya (for a while) and is now applying to Russia.

The problem is that if one of these fine gentlemen prevails the sanctions should come off. I'm just not sure this is worth getting into diplomatic trouble over.
