During the visa interview process, just have every person watch 2 hrs of TV news from outside China about the CCP coordinated atrocities towards Chinese people in and outside China, then perform the interviews.

Uighurs re-education camps, forced labor, surveilence, etc. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wM1DjkPWtj0

My wife is from Shanghai. That won't change their minds. Believe me on this. We have arguments on these topics. The Chinese are spectacularly uninformed about the world they inhabit. My wife is a very good electrical engineer but knows nothing of the many conflicts in the Middle East, doesn't know what Israel is or how it came to be, thinks China and the USSR beat the Japanese in WWII but knows nothing about how Hitlere and Mussolini came to power or the war in Europe, knows nothing about the Barbary Pirates, the Roman Empire, the Ottoman Empire, WWI, colonization of Africa and the Americas, etc. She thinks China won the Korean War but knows nothing about the 1979 Sino-Vietnamese war. It's not taught. In fact it is suppressed and the veterans of that war are not acknowledged inside China. They don't exist. They are never taught about how the US government operates and have no idea what elected representative government is. The whole of the Enlightenment passed China by. They see the world around them through very narrow blinders. It is almost scary how little they know and one has to be very aware of this when dealing with the Chinese.

@desert. Would love to have a partner that can argue. Sounds like she is 50% right. My partner is just totally astounded about how much I know and tells me that Japanese people generally don’t know much about the world.
