Lets hope this report is wrong and only speculating. There were a lot of 'could' and 'were likely' type sentences in there.

This is rich, even for 'liberals.'

0 ( +0 / -0 )

So that's why the US Army has been meeting its recruitment goals for a change... : P

here were a lot of 'could' and 'were likely' type sentences in there." Yes there are. What this seems more to me is simply political fear mongering. Notice how much emphases is place on the right? And even white? Its fear mongering folks. The best way to control Americans is the scare the hell out of them. White bloggers have the rise in black supremacy. Black blogger have the rise in white supremacy. And both of them are scare of people like me.

The Bush admin had terror that they could use. The new admin has the economy and its finger pointing faults and now they have been able to add the scary right wing boggy man.

OMG!! I am soooo scared man!! I gotta get outta the US!! CANADA, HERE I COME!!! Yes, I do see the element of fear mongering here, but the article does hold some truth to it. I tried going on Stormfront the day after the election because I knew that those guys would be having kittens. True enough, the damn site was down for a bit. I had my suspicions as to why. It is things like this, though, that reminds you of how primitive we all still are.

True enough, the damn site was down for a bit. I had my suspicions as to why" Why? too many people on it or was it hacked?

Also, what is not being said here is the increase was seen after the presidents inauguation, but take a look at youtube stats and you will see Dr. Kamau Kambon's "Let's Exterminate White People" which was on CSPAN.... Did it occur to anyone that perhaps some people got scared? It's not like anyone denounced him either, even people here.

US citizens carrying out terroists acts against their own country? I can't believe that would happen?! they probably go to church too...

0 ( +0 / -0 )

add to that all the people running around carrying firearms, most of them legally and its a pretty worrying scenario. so what's new?

This April 7th government publication by the Obama administration reminds me of another April 7th government publication:

If Obama is being used as the benchmark, then every American is a right-wing extremist.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

right-wing extremists ... have used the immigration debate as a recruiting tool.

So, opposing illegal immigration is now a radical ideology.

Who wrote this report? Pelosi?

right-wing extremists ... have used the immigration debate as a recruiting tool." And left wing extremists have used the immigration debate as a recruting tool as well.

So, opposing illegal immigration is now a radical ideology" And it shouldn't. No other country on the planet faces such an amount of illegal immigration, yet most countries grill us for it. Gone are the days of having just a simply argument.

Who wrote this report? Pelosi?" Probably her daughter.

One of the most popular white supremacist Web sites got more than 2,000 new members the day after the election, compared with 91 new members on Election Day, according to an Associated Press count.

I wonder how many new members were from the media checking out the site....

Honestly, if this is the only measuring stick they could find, then I'm not too worried.

If Obama is being used as the benchmark, then every American is a right-wing extremist.

Funny how more than 50% of Americans voted for him and his approval rating is now over 60% - The more people see of Obama, the more they like!

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Yes, Altria, and that's back up by all the confidence in the economy we've seen. People are buyin' homes again like crazy, employment is soarin', the stock market just keeps goin' up day after day.

Yep, the American people have put their money where their mouth is and just love the heck outta the O Man.

If you honestly expect Obama, or anyone for that matter, to magically fix the results of years of reckless greed in a mere 85 days, then what can I say but LOL

0 ( +0 / -0 )

The more people see of Obama, the more they like!

They'd better or else they'll be targeted as right-wing extremists in Obama's America.

Seig Heil

If you honestly expect Obama, or anyone for that matter, to magically fix the results of years of reckless greed in a mere 85 days,

Cuz yeah, Obama, having accepted a 500,000 thousand dollar advance on his next book and flying his favorite pizza chef to DC on a whim is clearly all about renouncing materialism and coming to terms with fiscal responsibility.

There really is one born every minute.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Hahah, at least they're "patriots" right? Like how anybody who questioned the government were un-patriotic?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

LOL. A Repub talking to someone about fiscal responsibility. Bush was so responsible. You didn't see him flying chefs anywhere. I mean, he took that surplus Clinton left him and increased it tenfold, and everybody has jobs, right? Yeah. Back to reality. If Bush could string together sentences on his own, they'd pay him that kinda money too for his book. The right seem to want instant results to fix 8 years of their mistakes and greed, and any economist will tell you that's impossible.

"...the agency warns that imposing new restrictions on firearms and returning military veterans who have difficulties assimilating back into their communities could lead to terror groups or individuals attempting to carry out attacks..."

Smearing the miltary.

Again.

It's become a Democrat tradition.

And what's this about terror groups?

I thought that in the Age of Unicorns that word had been banished.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Extremists will recruit the U.S.? I don't get it.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Anotsusugami: YOu really can't use the Clinton Surplus sceanario here. First of all, Clinton did not walk into a bad economic state, in fact he walked into a pretty good one.

The situation is much different. I mean you can easily say Bush walked into the war on terror. OBL was an enemy of the US and Clinton left that to him. (No, I am not saying he did, but it can be viewed like that). If OBL had been taken care of by Clinton and 9-11 would never have happened, perhaps, neither of the two wars would have never have come to be......

This report is more to scare people than anything.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

It is interesting what comes out when there is a change in administration. The right-wing threat is not new and not sudden. It was ignored by the Bush administration, which was itself a right-wing extremist cabal.

The worst terrorist attack in the US prior to 9-11 was Oklahoma City, carried out by right-wing extremists. These people carried out in practice what had been table talk for years.

The extreme right-wing web in the US is wide and diverse. It includes various white racists, the right-to-lifers, survivalists, NRA gun nuts and people like Ann Coulter. The US is a dangerous place politically.

Barack Obama is best thing to happen to the US in years (in spite of his faults) and I truly fear for his safety.

Not much to see here folks. The American radical right's sense of entitlement is too big for them to ever actually DO anything. They'll bitch and moan and come up with newer and more clever names to call themselves on the internet, but that's as far as it will go.

What are they going to do? Demand that other people strap on explosives and blow themselves up in government buildings because rush limbaugh wants Pres. Obama to fail? I don't really see anyone taking them up on that offer and if the only other alternative is for them to take action themselves...well...let's just say more people will be firing up their Tivos than worrying about an attack.

Taka

"The American radical right's sense of entitlement is too big"

Heh, if anyone's sense of entitlement is too big, it's the people who voted for Obama.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

All this damn finger pointing is making me noxious. What is so hard about staying in the middle? The right has its problems with all the racist extremists and nationalists on that side. The left has its problems with all the extremely radical socialists and anarchists. Am I the only one who sees the problem with both sides?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

We have enough extremidiots = therefore I see no need to be recruiting for them.

-Sort of a political Bumfights if you ask me.

What is needed: People that work hard, bring value and put money in the bank. -or is that too much change to be asking for?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Kinda miss Rev Wright's take on the g-damn America bit, just for a little balnace. Ya know America's chickens were coming home to roost and all that.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

I would have thought that there was more than one American born every minute. Fiscal responsibility is something that Republicans nor Democrats seem to understand.

The right calls ACORN domestic terrorists, the left calls tea party goers and right-wing extremists domestic terrorists and the whole thing just goes to show how insecure and irrational partisan politics makes people.

Heh, if anyone's sense of entitlement is too big, it's the people who voted for Obama.

That would be the majority of Americans, interesting to see some taking a very "European" view towards their fellow Americans and by extention America it's self.

O.K. As someone who finds this report not at all surprising and extremely amusing, I have to admit to chuckling inside over the fact that the jonah goldbergs, mark steyns and michelle malkins types are now freaking out that they could now fall victim to the USA PATRIOT Act.

Just think, homeland security MAY be listening to calls from radicals espousing anti-American views originating from places like fox news offices and/or western Japan.

To quote Bart Simpson, "the ironing is delicious."

If OBL had been taken care of by Clinton and 9-11 would never have happened

Clinton tried to arfrest and deal with Ossama bin Laden. But countries like the Sudan were p;rotecting him.

If the bush administation had released their morning security meeting information that they knew that hijackers actions were more imminate and were planning to attack the US by using as plane. They even knew who the hijackers were and where they went to pilot's school.

Until we don't repeat the last administration's mistakes, we'll always be subject to attacks and extremeist. < :-)

Sarge at 09:30 PM JST - 15th April "The American radical right's sense of entitlement is too big" Heh, if anyone's sense of entitlement is too big, it's the people who voted for Obama.

Sarge taking a dig at a majority of Americans. Sad very sad, hm, Sarge are you that angry? Hm maybe this report is correct. Hm I do not know.....

Or could this report be more left over FEAR FEAR, GET ANGRY, LOOK OUT THAT GUY MAYBE A TERRORIST, REPORT YOUR FRIENDS comments of the Bush administration.

I do not know, yeah I agree we do have our nutz out there.

We have the far right is upset that President Obama is the president. No one knows how far their hate will take them and to what extremes.

Then we have the far right religious wing nutz. This group will stop at nothing to kill and they do it in god's name. This group in my book is the craziest of them all.

Then there are the extreme left environmentalist wackos jobs that would kill just to save a try. No speaking how far they will take their crusade either. But they are not as bad as the religious wing nutz.

Then there are the extreme animal rights groups, they do not kill people but it is only a matter of time.

Then we have the extreme racists in all the camps. From the White extremist, Black extremist, Black Supremacists, White supremacist, Mexican drug lords, oh yeah and Alpha 66.

Man we are loaded with lots of nutz in our nation. Hm maybe this report has some merits?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Mr. Big - I made a mistake in my earlier post. I meant to say that many of the people who voted for Obama have a sense of entitlement that's too big, not all of them. The others have simply been duped.

"The far right is upset that Obama is the president"

Yeah, the far right, AND, the 59 million other Americans who voted against him.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Truly demented, Orwellian moral equivalence from one of the most powerful 'liberals' in the country, attorney general Janet Napolitano, unable to say who she and the Obama admin consider a bigger threat - Al Qaeda or US military veterans.

BLITZER: Is it a bigger threat from your perspective and other al Qaeda and foreign related terror attack against the United States or domestic terrorism along the lines of an Oklahoma City bombing?

NAPOLITANO: That’s difficult to say because both are risks that are with us and will be with us and so what the American people need to know is that the Department of Homeland Security, as the secretary of Homeland Security, we’re thinking all the time about these issues.

I voted against? Don't even remember the loosers, but I sure as heck remember I did vote for the winner, Obama. I hope he can give good physical and psychiatric help to all the veterans of Iraq, Afaganistan etc..these are all ticking time bombs. (How many idiots like the fools who pulled off their attacks in Oklahoma City are waiting to do something similar or worse? Answer too many!) May the NRA burn in HELL!
