So let's see - Obama feels we cannot impose our values on other nations and it is "not helpful" to meddle in the Mid East and yet here he is interfering in Israel's affairs.

When you look at how this admin deals with Iraq,Columbia,Israel and not least of all their own country it is becoming clear the only nations they will provoke, make demands upon or seek to reshape are all democracies...

Maybe because it is democracies that need reshaping, including Israel.

If we took a closer look at what these demands are, they are basically saying, "don't meddle with our countries", of which the case of Israel is that it is a democracy meddling with Palestine.

No Mcdonalds, no Walmart, no mortages, no US dollars, no hedge funds, no outsourcing, no media, no twitter, no bulldozers, no same sex marriages, no abortions, no obesity, no chemicals in our food, no atomic bombs, no oil seekers, none of that freedom jargon, no thanks and thank you.

I feel sorry for Obama, he probably has the toughest job in the world. But some of the people that he represents don't even deserve a leader like him. I hope administrations and other so called democracies don't mislead him into going into North Korea.

Obama's not trying to impose our values. He's just trying to get the Israelis to honor what they have agreed to already. < :-)

If it is democracies you object what are you doing in Japan and on this site?

I'm on this site to highlight that 26,000 children under the age of 5 die of poverty related causes everyday. Why are you here?

“We want to see a stop to the settlements,” Clinton said. “We think that is an important and essential part of pursuing the efforts leading to a comprehensive peace agreement.”

Yep.

Israel removed all settlements from Gaza four years ago and Qassam rockets continue to fly into Israel, the last five days ago. It's about Jihad, not land.

I don't object to Democracies, however, corporations are outside of our democratic system and are more similar to communism than democracy.

So, maybe we just need to impart a form of real democracy in the workplace and allow knowledgeable employees decide who their leader is, just like in a truly Democratic country.

The settlement issue is a major obstacle to both the resumption of Israeli-Palestinian negotiations and to an eventual peace deal.

Aren't their disagreements also involving their positions on the citizenship and individual rights too?
