These refugees will fled to Germany or Britian, they have no interest to stay in Kosovo! At the end this is a burden for Europe!

Maybe that was the plan all along.

Very reasonable. Thank you Kosovo!

LOL

An ardent U.S. ally, Kosovo, has agreed to take in Afghanistan evacuees who fail to clear initial rounds of screening and host them for up to a year

"fail to clear initial rounds of testing" = "obviously taliban" = "male older than 14" ?

The immigrant's hopeful inscription on the plinth of the Statue of Liberty long ago passed its sell-by date and now reads as a melancholy relic of America's former idealism. Sending Afghanis to ethnically troubled Kosovo may be an incentive for many to return home if the Neo-Taliban can show proof of their civilized bona fides.

Kosovo is a White Muslim country

Well, if they fail, Canada will take them, after all they have a cabinet minister who calls the Taliban, "our brothers."

It's OK for the US to send any kind of yahoo with a weapon into other countries to storm homes and terrorize neighbourhoods, but a heavy screening occurs in questionable sites when people seek refuge in the failed aftermath of an invasion and occupation.

One of the next generation of these refugees will become POTUS. It's the ultimate dream.

Again, I will say what a mess this has been, Homeless, Stateless, Hungry, and soon to be Cold, these people better off returning to their homeland I say, based on all reports coming out of Afghanistan by western media the Taliban has declared an “amnesty” across Afghanistan so these people have a choice now.

America and her allies...... top tip for you... Not everyone working as at your bases and as translators is a friend. There were few other jobs. They may have smiled at you everyday but may well have hated you and looked forward to your departure... Why take the risk, you were only using the Afghan people for your own benefit. Just dump them all in Kabul, not take a few tokens to "show you care".

What the article fails to mention, which American media has mentioned is the fact that those "who fail to clear initial rounds of screening" have ties to Taliban/terrorists.

Sir, you must work for the state department to have access to such privileged information. No one will think for a minute that you are making this up.

Sounds like a good idea.

Wonder what our loving friends on the right wing might have against this plan.

Veterans groups are especially upset - calls to veterans suicide support lines spiked upwards immediately as the chaos and suicide killings began.

I’ve heard veteran groups are happy with the plan, the number of veterans dying from suicide have been the invisible casualties from the war and remain High.

I know people from the area. It's where cultures clash that you don't want to live.
