30-year-old Texas man dies from virus after attending 'COVID-19 party'

A covid 19 party. Jesus, the US is doomed. Can't get any stupider.

He thought the disease was a hoax. He thought he was young and invincible and wouldn't get affected by the disease.

Conspiracy theories can kill. This is a failure of education.

He could have been infected before the party.

I don't feel a ton a sympathy for this guy, but I care a lot that he spent days spreading the disease thinking it was a hoax and not caring about anyone else that he could get sick, and I feel awful for the essential workers that had to interact with him.

Well, we are talking about the current younger adult 20-30 year olds who think they are invincible and above everything until such time as someone in the age group dies from this terrible virus but that wont change anything. Our condolences to his family and friends.

As others have said, no sympathy for the partying morons, every sympathy for any vulnerable friends and relatives they may have infected. And the medical staff charged with caring for them all.

Ultimately, it's up to the individual whether they want to wear a mask and other adopt behaviours to minimise their chances of getting sick from this virus or transferring it to others.

If they kill themselves, okay. It raises the average IQ of the country.

The problem is they can kill others with their moronic behaviour.

It's sad this guy died because he thought the virus was a hoax, but he's not much different to those who think it's on the level of the Spanish flu when it comes to danger.

The mainstream media play down the threat, yet whenever talk of a Trump rally comes along, they talk up the fear. You're on JT regularly, so if you don't notice it you're not paying much attention, or just wilfully ignoring it.

My take is both protests and Trump rallies are situations where Covid can spread. One difference is that the protests, riots and looting are chaotic and lack a leader who could stop them. There is no single organizer behind them ( maybe one of our resident conspiracy theorists can drop us the name of the puppet master here ). By the way, I find the looting of people’s businesses absolutely disgusting. Some of the excuse making on the left is disgraceful.

Trump rallies are held because Trump wants them to happen and he could stop them in a heartbeat.

There will inevitably be more focus on a man who has it within his power to stop covid extravaganzas.

If someone is really dying from CV-19, it's rather difficult/impossible to be talking to your nurse with a ventilator tube stuck down your throat.

Dr. Appleby's just relaying what someone else said -- aka an unnamed source -- not something of which she has firsthand knowledge.

The bigger fake news red flag appears in the 4th paragraph when this "patient" told the unnamed source, 'You know, I think I made a mistake.'

I have yet to see a report about a Corona death without co-morbidities. I assume there some out there, but they certainly are not typical.

I was looking for reports saying whether or not he was obese, but nothing reliable turned up.

It does seem that corona deaths without co-morbidities are rare. It's sad this guy died because he thought the virus was a hoax, but he's not much different to those who think it's on the level of the Spanish flu when it comes to danger.

If we take the mainstream media as a guide, COVID-19 doesn't seems to be that dangerous when thousands of people get together to protest or riot for a leftist cause, but it's suddenly a threat to our very existence when people just want to get on with their daily lives. The double standard is breathtaking but not surprising.

The article says nothing about the state of his health before attending the party. Sure, he could've been healthy, or he could be overweight, diabetic or have some other underlying condition.

From this article, we don't know, so it's a little hasty to be jumping to conclusions.

This article and those like it either neglect to include enough context by accident or laziness, or by design to manipulate the way we view the situation and react it.
