The unit belongs to the U.S. Space Force, which was launched in December 2019 under then-President Donald Trump as the first new U.S. military service in more than 70 years.

Sometimes acts of ego and self-aggrandizement, done unconsciously, end up being the right thing to do at the time.

The US and SK would benefit from a partnership in space

Pathetic..

Stop colonialism!!!..

Wait, can't we see everything from space? Isn't that the point of it?

Why spend more money supporting the South Korean economy only to have another country complain about the US taxpayer paying for their protection?

Seems like another poorly thought out politically motivated decision.

Hey look at that! Space Force! What forward thinking President created that?

China will always be one or two steps ahead.

Hey look at that! Space Force! What forward thinking President created that?

Why that was the same self-aggrandizing blow hard who’s about to be indicted for multiple felonies!

Which forward thinking President is repurposing Trump’s self-gratification exercise into something useful?

It’s a metaphor for his entire life.

Repurposing? So they aren’t involved in space anymore?

just congratulate and move on, why is it sooooo hard?

So forward thinking he “repurposed” the Star Trek logo for the service patch.

So forward thinking he wanted to pull US forces out of S. Korea even after it was explained to him it would increase the time needed for confirmation of a ballistic missile launch from 6 seconds to 15 minutes.

The man couldn’t pre-plan a fart.

Space Force deployed to Korea by Biden? we get 3 posts complaining about Trump. Typical.

will likely enable Washington to better monitor its rivals North Korea, China and Russia.

Just monitor? To attack, perhaps...

US military creates space unit in S Korea:

Has S Korea finally fallen prey to US coercion beside enticement?

US military formally launched a space force unit in S Korea, its first such facility on foreign territory. How terrifying.

Would China, Russia & N Korea sit still..?

Another Orwellian exercise from an egotistical usurping fascist Caligula quisling. Talk about a CULT of personality.

The USAF recruiting stations have recruiters for US Army, USN, USAF, USMC and sometimes the Coasties. Where are the 'Space Farce' recruiters? Teens are gonna wanna KNOW. Show them to me! SHOW, DON'T TELL.

The Space Force was seen soberly as an affirmation of the need to more effectively organize for the defense of U.S. interests in space - especially satellites used for civilian and military navigation, intelligence and communication.

NASA was created by a real hero and POTUS, Ike Eisenhower. He warned about the 'military-industry complex', BTW.

And that damn flag too. Remember the episode 'Plato's Stepchildren' where those mind-controllers had Kirk and Spock singing, 'I'm Tweedle-dee, he's Tweedle-dum. Two spacemen marching to a drum'. Tweedle-DUMB indeed. As a Cold War veteran who served against brainwash totalitarian Communism (and other things), now we have this brainwash crap. And it is CRAP. I'm glad I'm not in the service anymore.

'Da da da, love your hair

Da da da, lend me a ten

Da da da, I love your big house

Da da da, can you spare a dime?

Wello, I'm sick of it!

It's a load of **! ....' - INXS
