Well, let's confirm that the deceased were actually militants, shall we? And not some very poor family in the wrong place at the wrong time. Speaking of which, since when did goat-herders in the hills of the village of Dande Darpa Khel, near Miran Shah in North Waziristan, pose a clear and present danger to the national security of the United States? And does anyone besides me think that "three intelligence officers said condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to media," has an oxymoron and a big unanswered question: (a) military intelligence and (b) anonymity usually means CIA involvement, or Mossad. Who is really doing the deeds here and why?

I usually doubt the reliability of stories that use the words " spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized" because that means there are a lot of guys that are guilty of Treason.

LIBERTAS: Well, let's confirm that the deceased were actually militants, shall we?

So your point is that we should wait for more information before making a decision.

Or, we could ignore the original point, and just start throwing darts at the board....

Blimey, more deatghs caused by American aggression. I thiught Obama was quiet a nice lad, nowi am doubtuing it. He seems to be like Bush, a killer of more innocents by cowardly missle strikes.

This news is so sad and beastly. Why oh why do America kill kill kill especially Arabs? I thought Obama would stop thes ghastly attacks. All these deaths caused on an almost daily basis by the US military, make me cry.

If the US is pissing you off, then it means we're doing something right. And how many screen names do you have here anyway? It's not enough to post an opinion, but you have to create more scream names just to say the same drivel over and over again. You're one creepy dude.

Ah, Commander in Chief Obamas brilliant policy of bombing Pakistan in action.

Of course, total idiocy without any logic, plan, reason, or end game behind it.

Yet, this time around, the media silence is deafening. No critical article, no questioning, nothing.

SuperLIb; all your claims are baseless lad. I write what i believe in.

America is killing too many, and creating terrorists by causing hatred to itself. Simple as that.

It's a sad state of affairs for all sides involved. Unfortunately all these attacks really seem to be doing is turning people more and more TOWARD militancy and against the US and it's citizens. They can't seem to separate the two. I have large issues with the government but American people generally speaking are mostly warm and giving (albeit more prone to want to use force I think that others). The bombings should stop but the militants need to stop their bombing first. They DID start this with US in 2001. Of course gung ho gi joe (ie. programmed automaton) is not needed.

Yeah Chris maybe flowers would work. Or maybe just Obama's head on a plate if you wish since he's just continuing those evil policies of America's worst ever president. Obama must be lining up to take that spot then in left wing liberal love in logic. How come the extreme criticism of him is deafening on these boards now?

Japan gets 90 percent of the oil from middle east and OPEC, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Iraq, Kuwait and Iran. If U.S. has evil policies, let Japan send your own military, go to middle east and clean up and protect your own sea lanes for oil transfer since majority of the oil is going to Japan anyway. Why should "evil policies" of U.S. protect your oil import interest. U.S. only gets 22 percent of the total imports of oil from this area and it's insignificant. All you do is to bad mouth U.S. and you can do anything. What is your solution? U.S. is increasing the military presence in Afghanistan and it's going to get ugly soon. There is no strategic significance to U.S. in this area other than to clean up the Talibans and like all wars, civilians will be caught in the middle.

I really don’t think you quite get the idea of this site. It might be called “Japan Today” but that does not mean that Japanese people actually post comments here. Yes, it has been known to infrequently happen, but you will find that none of the above posters are Japanese. They are all from English speaking countries & one double post in particular is a figment of his own multi personality imagination. So you idea that some Japanese are bad mouthing the poor mis-understood Americans is wrong. As for somebody else suggesting that rockets are in some way cowardly, they are just mechanical delivery systems as apposed to the (deluded) human delivery systems the Taliban use. War means killing people, how this is done doesn´t all that important.

"cowardly ( missile ) strikes"

And your solution is...?

NeilWarnock: America is killing too many

You should be more civilized and show some compassion for American killers.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

SuperLib; So you want me to show compassion to Americans who kill?

This cowardly missle attack on innocents proves the US thinksbof warfare like a video game and shows no concern for civilians who are not American. Do you get the picture now lad?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Neil/Chris, you should show some compassion and stop being so beastly towards Americans. In all reality I'm not sure why you even care. You've said quite a few times that foreigners shouldn't interfere with other nations. Sometimes it's confusing to keep track of all of your contradictions.
