It seems that USA is not interesting to watch peaceful activity in Korean peninsula. Just like Japan, S. Korea pay large amount of money annually to let American military forces stay. Sooner or later, both countries will evict Americans. Not just Trump but other military officials treat Asians as their servants. They also insult China. They love insulting Kim.

Why agitate Kim now before the Olympics? Seems like the US is looking to provoke him into doing something.

What on earth do they do that for?

The Olympic torch will pale on comparison to what lies ahead. Unfortunate.

Great move, lads. Such tact and diplomacy.

As we've come to expect.

In Hawaii there was a FALSE ALARM of a missile attack this past weekend. Trump is being the uncouth ass that he is and he's looking for an EXCUSE for a fight. I hope the generals defy him because he is not worthy to be a commander-in-chief.

Yet again, more evidence that the almighty us is not interested in the peaceful approach at all. We need a new united nation not beholden to its paymaster

The US will not attack N Korea.  Not unless it is after N Korea attacks somewhere.

The US is setting up for a post-Olympics strike. The Olympics are being used as a geopolticial tool to mobilize thousand of US troops to attack NK as soon as the games are over, and once the weather gets a bit warmer.

That's the Olympic spirit!

Clamenza is on the money here, IMHO. There have been worries that with the real possibility of no DPRK participation in the Olympics, the games would present an easy target. The US is wanting to be prepared for any eventuality, and if people see a build-up, well that certainly at least fills the bill of more pressure behind the sanctions.

The US is simply doing the painfully obvious thing in presenting a deterrent to NK should they be thinking of a terror attack during the Olympics.

Yes. NK will have their athletes be strapped with bombs.

What on earth do they do that for?

My guess is that the hammer is set to come down. The military probably would have preferred a February date for an attack, but the Olympics have precluded this. Perhaps late February/March. Things are getting serious.

Ready to pounce after yet another false flag attack ?

Americans lose all wars in 70 years (Afghanistan illiterate tribes =16 years?), so to attack 2.3million soldiers in winter, when all USA equipment is for deserts, oh my god. February, I will go to australia or NZ.

Seems unnecessary. But with Kim Jong Un you never know.

The US is simply doing the painfully obvious thing in presenting a deterrent to NK should they be thinking of a terror attack during the Olympics.

But go ahead, continue with the outrage.

Good to hear. The North is thinking it has won by turning cowardly SK into appeasers. Thankfully the US military is not that stupid. The North is done and their fate is sealed

"Such moves are an unpardonable military provocation chilling the atmosphere for improved inter-Korean relations," the North's ruling party said in a commentary published over the weekend.

If Kim were to launch one or two more missiles over Japan I’m sure he will feel much better about the whole thing.
