Most of them have been living and working in South America and rushed to the US when they heard about the end of expulsions by the Biden administration.

They are overwhelmingly economic migrants, and the US has no responsibility to accept them. They can apply through the usual immigration channels. Showing up en-mass in the thousands to put political pressure on the receiving country's leaders is no way to run an immigration policy, or any kind of public policy.

That sounds like a talking point someone on the right made up, that started being repeated as (alternate) fact.

Ok, this is great that the White House is FINALLY taking action, but it’s a little bit ironic, they’re rounding up all the Haitians, but not anyone coming from South of the border or even the Cubans. Why is that? You know why and the White House knows why and they really can’t spin this one. Shame on this people and they want to blame the right for racism? Unbelievable these people.

More “empathy” from Biden.

This is just such a humanitarian mess. The Democrats are pretty much done going forward.

These are Haitians who left their country after the 2010 earthquake and went to countries in South America. About 750,000 of them.

This group moved north through Central America. But most will probably be deported back to the country they escaped from, Haiti.

Whatever the reason, these people want a better life and yet, they’re being rounded up and sent back, so why can the Cubans stay or people from South of the border. Poverty is poverty, why the Blacks escaping humanitarian crisis, poverty and violence have to leave, but Latin people can get to stay? We all know why.

The U.S. plans to speed up its efforts to expel Haitian migrants on flights to their Caribbean homeland, officials said Saturday as agents poured into a Texas border city where thousands of Haitians have gathered after suddenly crossing into the U.S. from Mexico.

Well. looks like Trump will have to look someplace else for his maids, greenskeepers, and caddies...

Trump? How did he enter the conversation on this mess? What a weird thing to say.

So you don't want to help poor Blacks then?

I don’t want to help ANY illegal. And by the way, what does that have to do with Washington not explaining to us why Blacks have to leave but the Hispanics can stay. Try not to spin this, just makes you look really bad

A major part of the Trump Wall collapsed in a storm.

Then rebuild it. This is Biden’s moment to show that he’s taking the border crisis seriously.

DHS said, “our borders are not open, and people should not make the dangerous journey.”

That is a good point. The journey is perilous. While humanitarianism is commendable, people should not be lured into a death trap.

Well, words spoken a little too late.

Must have been the 15 miles of new wall or the 350 miles of rebuilt wall - out of the 2000 miles of border...

In 2016 62 promises to build the wall - after 4 years less the one-fourth complete....

And this new wall is one an 8 year old can climb over using milk crates...

Just another Trump con-job and failure...

Just another Trump con-job and failure...

But Biden could have finished the wall and he didn't and now look at the mess, another mess that could have been avoided and why is that?
