That is crazy! We all saw Crazy Rich Asians, right?
Nepal is "developing", but China is not. The WTO needs to fix this.

What took so long?

Good question.
Perhaps in the case of Brunei, Kuwait and the UAE no other member challenged their status - because each is a big oil country?
Will any of the countries willingly change their status?

Wolfpack@ because elections are coming.
Has to show how tough he is.

I'll always support Trump going after China. I agree with him that this policy is unfair.
The problem is that he's not the right man for the job. No progress, nothing tangible. As usual. He's useless at this level.
Strangerland
Fully agree. He’s got the correct message, but he’s inept with a solution.

Trump is a filthy man in so many ways but no other free market leader has attempted any of this. Kudos Mr. President, right on...
Wolfpack
I don’t think the two guys before him even cared. He made not be the right person for the job but at least he recognized the problem. Not likely to change anything though.

And Wolfpack starts out his post with the white surrender flag.

I fully agree with what Trump is doing here, and I fully support his actions not only against China, but condemning South Korea for being a developing country as well.

If you are launching commercials rockets, then you aren't a "developing" country.
Heck, if you are selling vehicle outside your country, then you aren't a "developing" country either.
Who would ever believe that Singapore is a "developing" country? Only someone who has never been there. It is just as modern as Tokyo, Hong Kong, NYC, London.
Same for South Korea.
If your country hosts the Olympics, you aren't "developing" anymore either.
