America trying to claim leadership of what others are already doing by badmouthing the leaders while trying to hide its history under a veneer of shiny words.

Yes, Biden is a lot better at it than Trump was, because Trump realized he didn't even have to pretend to be trying to make it believable to make it work.

The problem is that the US is going to START running the race months from now, and doesn't have the resources to run as fast as those already running the race are going. In the core provinces of the Imperium, they'll hear the announcement and imagine they're already leading the race, but outside the Imperium, they'll notice who's actually on the track.

That's a mighty big trust me, a statement I find hard to fully believe coming from DC after so many decades of hearing 'intentional misinformations', and especially coming right after the Trump era when more lies were told than at any time in US history. If true, good. If not - same old same old.

I think the US is doing it the right way: You take care of your population first (as it was it the hardest by death toll, unless you count China and their "hidden" numbers). Now Japan waited way to long to study and approve any vaccine use, so they are to blame for their delays. But this is US leadership, working out with other countries a way ahead.
