2001 nearly 3,000 dead and America lost it's collective head and went to war in two countries.

2020 195,000 dead and 43% of the voting population think no one is responsible. Shows what happens when the bad guy is a WASP.

Remember the innocents who died, not just in the US that day, but those who perished in the months and years after in Iraq and Afghanistan.

19 Saudi Arabians changed the course of the world and oddly, the number one sponsor of terrorism (SA) was rewarded for it.

Money, eh.

You are comparing the Wuhan virus with a jihadist attack? Amazing mental gymnastics.

Just like with the U.S.S. Maine and the Gulf of Tonkin Incident, most Americans learned absolutely nothing except the evil ones. So see you at the next dubious event preceding the next imperial war assuming you are not one of the victims in making it all happen.

The wrong people died on 9/11 2001. Its always the innocent that pay the price while others profit off their deaths.

Not really. During the 2016 Repub debates, Candidate Trump was asked if George W. Bush was responsible for 9/11 - he replied - "it happened during his reign".....

Someone needs to ask Candidate Trump who is responsible for the pandemic that took 190K American lives to date during President Trump's reign....

Oh, he already answered that...."I'm not responsible"....

Quite unbelievable. Its as if China suddenly doesn't exist...

Only one country. The Iraq War was a Republican war of aggression to find WMD.

How can that be 19 years ago seems like yesterday. Poor bastards. RIP

Notice that Trump isn’t going to either the World Trade Center OR the Pentagon.

Probably because New York despises Trump, as does the military brass after his “suckers and losers” comments became public.

sorry, but I’ll just be remembering the innocent non-believers in allah

Dead is dead and both these cases were largely preventable with more foresight and less arrogance.

Notice that Trump isn’t going to either the World Trade Center OR the Pentagon.

Both DC and New York won't ever vote GOP. Pennsylvania has enough MAGA men to make it worth his while.

I wouldn't recommend going to New York City to my worst enemy. President Trump would be more than welcome anyway and has the overwhelming support of the NY police union who have officially endorsed him. The first time they endorsed a Republican in some 40 years.

In fact, both he and Joe Biden will be in Shanksville, Pennsylvania to honor the victims of Flight 93.

As for the Atlantic article, Some 14 witnesses including John Bolton and John Kelly's top aide (both far from Trump fans) have denied the story. The 4 supposed witnesses cited by the magazine are still anonymous. Jeffrey Goldberg is now in the process of walking back the accusation.

Remember how outraged the press were about the story 10 minutes ago? Ever wonder why its already out of the news cycle?

Bolton said that he didn’t hear it but that it sounded like something Don would say. That’s not a denial.

Nor is Kelly’s silence a denial. Given that Trump Said what he said at the grave of Kelly’s dead son, kelly’s is likely one of the sources. . Nor is Mattis’. ActMattis has said that Trump is unfit to serve.

It has been verified by CNN, NYT, WAPO and your likely favorite Fox.

And that doesn’t even count the fact that the Arms seller in Chief now calls the general officer corps war profiteers on camera.

But yeah, go with that.

Let's leave politics out of this one.

Let's leave politics out of this one.

Pretty hard, since the event was political to start with.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

@Superlib... Leave out the political fact the Clinton Administration is directly responsible for the those deaths.

Please... keep hiding your head in under the sand castle. Your socialist opinion is empty words. Amerika's politics are THE direct cause. As per usual and forever, the 'innocent' pay the toll. It's like taking credit for putting out a fire that I started. The part of this curbed celebration that Amerika truly mourns is vendors will lose business selling twin tower salt and pepper shakers made in China.

Many believe 9/11 was a pretext for the US to invade natural resource rich but poor and defenceless Muslim countries.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

@John

Not a pretext. The result of.

The pretext excuse works for those that have been asleep.

The Bush administration was way in over its head and made tragic errors all along the way. The perpetrators were mostly Saudis, with a few Syrians and Jordanians, and all were wealthy or middle class in the Middle East.

US soldiers found themselves fighting impoverished Taliban members in central Asia, 99% of whom had nothing to do with the attack. Then they were fighting Iraqis, 100% of whom had nothing to do with the attack.
