Not really. During the 2016 Repub debates, Candidate Trump was asked if George W. Bush was responsible for 9/11 - he replied - "it happened during his reign".....

Dead is dead and both these cases were largely preventable with more foresight and less arrogance.

I wouldn't recommend going to New York City to my worst enemy. President Trump would be more than welcome anyway and has the overwhelming support of the NY police union who have officially endorsed him. The first time they endorsed a Republican in some 40 years.

In fact, both he and Joe Biden will be in Shanksville, Pennsylvania to honor the victims of Flight 93.

As for the Atlantic article, Some 14 witnesses including John Bolton and John Kelly's top aide (both far from Trump fans) have denied the story. The 4 supposed witnesses cited by the magazine are still anonymous. Jeffrey Goldberg is now in the process of walking back the accusation.

Remember how outraged the press were about the story 10 minutes ago? Ever wonder why its already out of the news cycle?

Bolton said that he didn’t hear it but that it sounded like something Don would say. That’s not a denial.

Nor is Kelly’s silence a denial. Given that Trump Said what he said at the grave of Kelly’s dead son, kelly’s is likely one of the sources. . Nor is Mattis’. ActMattis has said that Trump is unfit to serve.

It has been verified by CNN, NYT, WAPO and your likely favorite Fox.

And that doesn’t even count the fact that the Arms seller in Chief now calls the general officer corps war profiteers on camera.

But yeah, go with that.

Pretty hard, since the event was political to start with.

Many believe 9/11 was a pretext for the US to invade natural resource rich but poor and defenceless Muslim countries.

The Bush administration was way in over its head and made tragic errors all along the way. The perpetrators were mostly Saudis, with a few Syrians and Jordanians, and all were wealthy or middle class in the Middle East.

US soldiers found themselves fighting impoverished Taliban members in central Asia, 99% of whom had nothing to do with the attack. Then they were fighting Iraqis, 100% of whom had nothing to do with the attack.
