So who is really behind that crash?

The United States said Monday that arch-enemy Iran sought assistance over a helicopter crash that killed president Ebrahim Raisi, as Washington meanwhile offered condolences despite saying he had "blood on his hands."

Appealing for help from the USA whom they regard as the 'Great Satan's doesn't that make the Islamic State of Iran Satanists?

Not that it really matters, the guy was known as the butcher of Theran was responsible for ordering the killing of thousands of his own people. He had a list of enemies all around him, so it could be anyone. I personally think the world and more importantly, the Iranian people are better off without him.

Would be interesting to know how far up the Iranian command that request for assistance went. If it was the Glorious Leader, the US should publish that on every news outlet.

Fake news.. or Just a propaganda of Biden administration ...

Iran already denied this claim

What a cheap popularity drama ..

Shame ..

Just another example of Banana republic

I wonder if this signals a shift in the power dynamic in Iran. Raisi was being groomed for the position of supreme leader, and with Khamenei in his mid 80s things could get interesting.

That really hurt ya, didn't it? Is it possible the US, far older than the Islamic Republic, is not a cartoon character?

I don’t believe this either.

The US and Iran communicated effectively to limit Iran's response to Israel's bombing of the Iranian embassy in Damascus.

That channel is likely still open to hedge against Israel's folly.

Agree, that sounds plausible and reasonable.

Someone can have a PhD and also be an absolute scumbag.

But I guess he doesn't understand that the upcoming Presidential election in Iran, conducted in the shadow of the genocide, while the global protests against the Israeli regime grows with every effort to crush and ignore it is likely to see someone he and other supporters of the genocide will hate even more helplessly.

I will assert it is not possible to waste more of Iran's money and reputation on a war of choice.
