"The Obama administration needs Karzai's support"

This is one of the differences between Obama and McCain. McCain wouldn't need Karzai's support to crush the Taliban.

At least the Taliban were not the drug dealers that the U.S. gov and CIA operatives are

You're a nutjob.

It seems that the Obama administration has a trend of poor international diplomacy. The Karzai issue is endemic of Obama's weakness in the international community, as well as the Obama administration's problem with Israel, Iran, Iraq, Venezuela, Cuba, and Japan...What seems to be the problem Obama??? No leadership abilities???

Crush the Taliban? Such bravado. Such embarrassing bravado after 9 years of failing to crush the Taliban with or without Karzai. Sarge, your side had plenty of time to deal with this and they failed. Its time for a different approach. High time.

HeyLars - "Sarge, your side had plenty of time to deal with this"

Amazing how it didn't become a crisis situation until your hero became president.

Note: Again you smell the presence of the motor-mouthed Muslim. Next, he will be selling nuclear bombs to anyone who would be in the market. Does the word "Treason" sound familiar ?

I despise Karzai. He his undoubtedly a kleptocrat. However, he is what we have to work with there. If Afghanistan is so important, we have no choice but to work with him. Glad to see Obama has shifted course on this issue, from insulting him last week, to praising him this week. Still, the whole Muslim world, apart from Turkey, and Indonesia, is nothing but barbarians. I wonder if they're ever going to grow up.

What is amazing Sarge is how the resurgence of the Taliban in 2006, the 50 percent increase in civilian deaths in 2007 and the fact of North and South Waziristan in Pakistan falling to Taliban allies all apparently only qualify as footnotes to Bush in your book. So what is the sudden emergency you speak of?
