Wasn't the travel ban a temporary measure while they spent 90-120 days creating a process of "extreme vetting" ?

I thought not.

americans shouldn't be allowed to enter any country unless they have a legitimate purpose and give all their passwords to authorities.

Meanwhile... America is still occupying lands far away, and bombing the crap out of them. And then wonders why they don't wanna be friends.

Well Hawaii has challenged the ban again, so I suspect it'll be struck down once again. The big problem now for the government is that their stated goal of a temporary 90 day ban time limit has long since passed since they first proposed this ban, so in theory they should have been able to "figure out what's going on" by now right?

If not, then this ban was for ulterior motives and will be struck down for that. If they have figured it out, then there's no more need for the ban right?

Thank heavens Trump is keeping the US open to travel from nations that have sent terrorist attackers to us, like Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan.

I do not recommend a ban to begin with, only simply because someone comes from a Muslim or Middle Eastern country. But if you are going to do it, either do it to everyone equally or at the very least to the true terrorist supporters of the world- Saudi Arabia, who besides supports Daesh, were also fifteen of the nineteen hijackers on 9/11, two were from UAE, one Egyptian and one Lebanese.

Yet mysterioisly none of those are on the ban list and who are also bashing Qatar for not supporting Daesh as well. Some sick joke Trump is playing on the American people.

Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria or Yemen did not attack the US on 9/11.

"Thank heavens Trump is keeping the US open to travel from nations that have sent terrorist attackers to us, like Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan."

Sad, but true.

The court rulings prevented the 90 days from even beginning, so at least now the administration can start working on their vetting plans. As far as Hawaii, they want fiances, grandparents, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins to all count as close relations/bonafied ties.

Yeah, the 3 justices lead by Clarence Thomas were right. Should have just implemented the entire ban, not this partial thing with the bonafied ties loopholes.

Im for that, as long as you can weed out radical extremists that want to blow up.....oh, that's already happening throughout Europe.

Trump has some of the most powerful lawyers. Behind him, I think they know what the left may try to do and are ready for any legal fallout or roadblocks the Dems will throw at them.

Been happening for years, matey. Remember when Americans used to fund the IRA?

And radical extremism has a long and depressing history in the US. Be it domestic or otherwise.

Yeah, I remember when they USED to fund them.

Ok and how many Americans were involved in massive worldwide terrorist plots and attacks over the last 18 years?
