Successful vaccine (90% effectiveness) yet more infected cases and more deaths. Can anyone suggest a more accurate time for the pandemic to end its global ravage? The whole world is suffering ( a matter of degree, not of kind ), how long more?

Under Trump's watch the country continues to suffer from his bungling of the pandemic.

To everyone who thinks that Trump is just going to take over and fix the election, declare martial law, whatever;
Remember, we got more votes (Nate Silver, by the way - f him- says that Biden is on track to win nearly 82 million votes.) we won the electoral college, and we out number the ”base” (Granted, they have ARs. I would point out that they don’t have armor or an air force.)
If, IF this were to happen the country would become un-governable. Imagine the civil disobedience?
And I personally have every confidence that the Joint Chiefs would regard martial law as an illegal order, and refuse to comply. Their troops would not comply.
That does not mean that this is not utterly disgusting. The GOP clearly wants the DOJ and/or the courts do do the heavy lifting. They are sacrificing the national security for political convenience.
BTW, to my few remaining Trump voting friends, remember that next time. The GOP sacrificed the national security to win. Who does that? Oh, Republicans.
