Move along, nothing new here. This is how the Syrian military cleans out the villages and towns it takes back. Simply using the most efficient methods, barrel bombs, and gas for the underground basements and tunnels. The propaganda they can leave to others.

What do I get the feeling they're going to link this to Iran somehow?

Assad should face criminal charges for it if true.

So many in the west want Assad out of power. Yet the vast majority of Syrians want him in power.

Funny how an American claim, citing no evidence, gets widespread press attention, but the leak of an internal OPCW showing that the OPCW investigators of the Douma incident came to the exact opposite conclusion of what the OPCW board did.

I guess that someone decided that spreading a lie was more 'newsworthy' than exposing one.

RPearce,

Indeed, and these unfounded accusations (((lies))) always seem to come as Trump appears to move away from an area or indicates that he does not want war (e.g. with Iran).

And interestingly, this comes right after "hundreds of members of the U.S. Congress signed a letter to President Donald Trump on Monday arguing that the United States should remain engaged with the conflict in Syria, saying they were "deeply concerned" about extremist groups in the country."

Zichi, where does your 'killing hundreds of thousands' of civilians come from?

Exactly!

probably won’t see too much from the leaked information as tens of thousands of MSM followers would have to realize they’ve been duped, again.

3. Implications of the Engineering Assessment combined with other findings

*The conclusion of the Engineering Assessment is unequivocal: the “alternative hypothesis” that the cylinders were manually placed in position is “the only plausible explanation for observations at the scene”.*

Love how the weapon that the Syrian army developed as an alternative to blowing away an entire building, and all the people, mostly noncombatants, who are in it, willingly or not, has become 'proof' that the Syrian army, at the behest of the Syrian government, is ruthlessly slaughtering noncombatants. A 'barrel bomb' is not cheaper (yes, the material cost is slightly cheaper, but unlike shells and missiles, they aren't mass produced on assembly lines) deadlier, safer (except for to the people stuck with a heavily armed sniper on their roof) easier to use (yes, it is easy to push something out of a helicopter, but you need a pilot willing to expose himself to weapons fire, the command coordination to keep your shell and missile fire away from where the helicopter is from second to second, the logistics to supply fuel, spare parts, AND the bombs to where the helicopter will land) or any of the other myriad things that make one weapon more militarily valuable than another, so literally the ONLY reason to use them is to minimize 'collateral damage'

These are exactly the sort of people who the term 'useful idiot' was coined to describe, and why spam email, telemarketers, and junk mail are so prevalent as to plague those who aren't gullible.
