Ridiculous ongoing persecution of him. Biden should just pardon him.

Now that's who really deserves the Noble Peace prize.

Assange is guilty.

The truth cannot be told.

Julian is all for extreme transparency EXCEPT when it comes to Julian.

He had a court appointment, a chance to present his side, and decided to do a runner to a Central American Embassy hiding out until he wore out his welcome (and then some).

He is going to get his day in court. In fact, he cannot avoid it.

Wikileaks is good.

Julian Assange is bad.

Julian Assange should not be extradited to a country like ours that treats prisoners so disgracefully.

More deserving of the Nobel Peace Prize.

He's guilty of telling truth.

This dude has been slowly tortured for what, ten years ? Surely their comes a time when a civilized government says enough is enough

Unfortunately we don't seem to have these anymore.

Assange, Snowden, Manning... This is what happens when you show most governments for what they really are: the monster from Stephen King's IT.

The abuse of Assange by the globalist cabale is shameful. I had hoped that Trump would drop the charges against him, but alas he failed.

Britain's legal handling of Julian Assange is absolutely disgraceful and despicable, and proof evident that the British government is kowtowing to U.S. direction. Judges, like politicians, are easily bought.

This is how the self-proclaimed champions of democracy, justice and freedom silence the truth. This is their justice system; where the criminals of a heinous crime are allowed to walk freely and the ones exposing the crimes go to jail.

You do realize Assange is literally public enemy number 1 for the Democrats? He is the one who made the leaked emails available before the 2016 election. Remember the ones Seth Rich leaked before he was murdered. Whoops! I meant the ones the Russians definitely hacked!

Gonna shock the world here and agree with the general mood- Assange is a tool, but he is not a criminal. Shedding a little light on the murky doings of the Deep State was a public service.

Assange is not an US-citizen but Australian - therefore he cannot be considered as a traitor. This case is going on for too long and is politically not related to UK. Assange is not an UK-citizen either. To get rid of this annoying issue, I think UK should send him back straight to Australia - if USA wants him it should contact Australia with an extradition request. Up to the Australian government what it decides to do with its own citizen.

Given the Australian government's recent history, it's difficult to imagine it'll be showing Assange much in the way of fair treatment.

@P. Smith

The Deep State generally refers to the supranational group of monitary policy movers and shakers such as the WEF, IMF, UN, WHO, etc. These groups use various foundations to fund programs around the world that help promote their agenda of a one-world government (think "The Great Reset"). The criticism of this is that since these groups aren't beholden to any one nation or democracy, they would not come under any democratic jurisdiction and thus not under the "will of the people". This may seem like a Petri dish for conspiracy theories but it's largely true. Though the extent that the groups are able to exercise real control over monitary and political institutions is debated, their goals and agendas are quite clear. The connection between Assange and this "Deep State" is vague at best. Since he is notorious for exposing real coverups and promoting journalistic oversight of potentially illegal activity by governments and other foundations, he would be one of the more legitimate sources of information on these topics. Another reason for his exile and potential extradition.

Julian is a bum and a narcissist and a likely rapist to boot. Consequences are for everyone but him. So say most of the people who used to work with him.

I hope he gets a nice long trip to the slammer. It's no less than he deserves. He is not a victim here.

This is all conspiracy nonsense.

First, he is not a rapist, charges against him on that account were dropped. It was just a setup, a dirty trick, no other decent means for the U.S. to get him.

Second, "bum" and "narcissist" are very subjective opinion, not necessarily true. But even if true, since when being a bum and a narcissist are criminal offenses?

Charges against Assange for publishing U.S. military secrets are a pure farce. Assange is not a U.S. citizen, he did not swear an oath to keep military secrets.

The U.S. likes to portrait itself a champion of free speech. The whole disgraceful manhunt for Assange tells a very different story.

Don’t be ridiculous. Assange jumped bail, chose to hide in the Ecuadorian embassy and, when they had enough of him and threw him out, he was arrested and imprisoned for jumping bail. He is still being detained during the latest actions as he is obviously a risk for absconding. The District Judge refused his extradition. Please, tell me how all this meets your assertion of corruption and illegal activities by the UK government and the judiciary.
