"The United States will not stand by and watch the Iranian regime's destructive policies place international stability and security at risk," Pompeo said in a statement.

The following could also be said.....

It wasn't erroneous. That deal sucked.

The only reason you say this is because Obama negotiated it; you're not saying this for any principled reason.

You want the U.S. to dictate to other countries? That's not nice.

Nope. You sure do given you support Trump scrapping the deal.

When Trump erroneously pulled out of the nuclear accord with Iran, the US lost its ability to dictate to Iran.

Goid luck to the Iranian space probes. The advancement of science benefits all.

It’s hard to make the case that Iran is the nut....when you have MBS on the sunni side.

Iran, like all other nations is free to explore space and launch satellites. If The US disagree then tough luck to them.

sometimes i just think the world should just have one leader, no borders and no guns. I don't care who, but as someone involved in medicine, apart from colour of skin, all humans are the same. what right does america have to dictate? or religions? or money? At this stage america is a country that has its own laws for america. Iran is a country has it own laws for Iran. why can one country tell another what to do?

why can one country tell another what to do?

Other countries dictate what the US must do all the time. It is called international negotiation.

Rockets for space and ICBMs are very similar. Will the world be a better place with Iran's regime having ICBMs combined with their nuclear weapon goals? Is the world better with another NK having nukes? Is that good for Japan?

Without the deal, the US lost its leverage with Iran

With the deal, the US could threaten to scrap the deal if it thinks Iran is doing something that violates the deal
