A quarter bil. Hope you can pay up, Dump. Just kidding. If there were any justice, you'd be shouting at people passing by on the street where you belong.

17 ( +24 / -7 )

The trial judge didn't understand the basic fundamentals of valuation.

Just another hysterical Democrat attempt to derail Trump's next presidency, and having the opposite effect.

-28 ( +6 / -34 )

A just and fair decision. But the judge should have used the trump playbook and added another zero or two to simply satisfy Trumps followers.

19 ( +23 / -4 )

Another hard blow for MAGA Inc., victory for Dems...

And the march trial is coming..

Momentum for Joe..

LOL

2 ( +10 / -8 )

It is an interesting precedent. Fraud by US borrowers who overstated their income and net worth almost brought down the entire global economy a few years ago. Go after those folks now.

-3 ( +6 / -9 )

Good. And Trump will lose his appeal.

Pay up, fraudster.

20 ( +25 / -5 )

Ouch. Ketchup flying and tiny thumbs tweeting hard.

Appeal away, the penalty might get higher.

17 ( +21 / -4 )

Justice!

Don the con is a fraud and now he’s gonna pay!

This “man’s” entire origin story is bovine feces.

15 ( +20 / -5 )

zibala

The trial judge didn't understand the basic fundamentals of valuation.

I would disagree, but, in any case, it is irrelevant to the case.

Just another hysterical Democrat attempt to derail Trump's next presidency, and having the opposite effect.

No. This has nothing to do with the Trump presidency. It is about his company in New York and how he committed fraud.

17 ( +21 / -4 )

Pay up.

I bet Trump won't. He just needs to

Delay

Deflect

Deny

for a few more years, until he is dead.

He will libel the judge and prosecutors about this case (deflect), fine an appeal (delay), and at every campaign stop, he will deny the conviction. The Trump playbook.

We've always know he was a fraudster. Now he is a CONVICTED fraudster.

Pay up.

19 ( +24 / -5 )

Jr and Eric were also fined and given a ban on running a business in NY. It’s a family affair.

12 ( +17 / -5 )

Smarter minds than I can calculate how many NFTs he is going to need to slang to pay this one.

8 ( +12 / -4 )

Given this was at the low end of expectations, Trump can take some comfort. Although he won't see it that way.

But together with the $83m he has to pay, it will be more than the free cash he has to hand, so that means either borrowing more or selling something.

And it may mean Trump is no longer a billionaire, which will hurt.

8 ( +12 / -4 )

The trial judge didn't understand the basic fundamentals of valuation.

He does. That's the problem for Donald Trump.

10 ( +15 / -5 )

Good. What a fraud.

11 ( +16 / -5 )

Now roll on the criminal trials.

11 ( +16 / -5 )

Judge rules against Trump; imposes $364 million penalty in New York civil fraud case

MAGA never gets tired of winning.

One thing that is now indisputable about Trump is that his business legacy is of a criminal enterprise fraudulent scam, as his workers have long known.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2016/06/09/donald-trump-unpaid-bills-republican-president-laswuits/85297274/

FACT.

9 ( +14 / -5 )

Trump got to.put up a bond to appeal

1 ( +8 / -7 )

LOL! Let the RNC, rich donors, and the rubes pay for it. Let's see how that affects the other Republicans running for various elected offices.

I forsee a hold on appeals for a while! Time for Melania to renegotiate her pre-nup and the trust.

6 ( +9 / -3 )

Trump now has to pay nearly $500 million plus his massive legal fees. That will hurt him.

7 ( +12 / -5 )

Has to pay up within 30 days + more if he intends to appeal, and a bond, if he can find a company with the assets to back it. That’ll cost him another $35 million for the bond, which is actually a letter to the court from the company.

As a guy with a reputation of stiffing people and companies, gonna be hard to find someone to do it.

Tucker Carlson was probably in Russia negotiating something with Putin. Have someone in a third country buy some golf courses that are losing money at inflated prices. But that money is easy to trace.

No, his PAC cannot pay it. And that will be out of money in about 90 days, since his followers are paying his legal bills.

Business genius with five bankruptcies and counting. There’s a certain satisfaction in seeing a conman squirming.

14 ( +16 / -2 )

Well, the Trump buildings in New York will soon be gone!

Anyone up for an auction.

360 million $$$ - and that's just another part he has to pay!

Expect much more to come.

But since the RNC will soon be controlled by his clan, he can milk his followers for more "donations".

The godfather should finally be sent to Rikers!

6 ( +9 / -3 )

Lol, love this guy, he just marches on, speaking right now, he’s going to appeal, blowing this off saying back to the campaign trail. NYC like California are on its last leg, not all that surprised by these Democrats and Soros backed individual, personally, I think Trump should leave the city, he can make even more money in other states, let NY fall in despair and decay, everyone is leaving, crime, lack of police officers, illegals pushing people and businesses out, food and living costs through the roof, why? Why live and suffer in despair and filth, just leave. Other than that, love how this guy is stoic and marches on.

-19 ( +5 / -24 )

All of this public embarrassment and financial loss because Trump's ego could not handle being roasted by former Pres. Obama, one of the most successful presidents of the 2000s.

Trump, the most well-known steak salesman in US presidential history, should of stuck to dating adult entertainers and promoting pyramids schemes instead of getting into politics.

It is harder to be a wannabe conman/mafia boss when you are an elected official.

This is not The Apprentice.

13 ( +17 / -4 )

illegals pushing people and businesses out

illegals are pushing people and businesses out of one of the most expensive real estate areas in the world?

Oh boy, you’re going to need some evidence for that one.

17 ( +21 / -4 )

Alina Habba will probably take her fame to OnlyFans if Trump does not get re-elected and offer her a government position.

I do not see her law practice getting much business after this major loss.

13 ( +16 / -3 )

illegals are pushing people and businesses out of one of the most expensive real estate areas in the world?

With the help of Adam’s and Dem leadership, yes.

Oh boy, you’re going to need some evidence for that one.

Yeah, it’s called turn on your TV and open a paper in print or online.

-20 ( +3 / -23 )

love this guy, he just marches on, speaking right now, he’s going to appeal, blowing this off

ROFL. Marches on? Whines and stamps his feet you mean.

He’s gotta pay. Who do you think he is, God?

13 ( +17 / -4 )

Another Trump trial, another Trump loss....pardon me while I bust a gut for the next two minutes....

And what's funny is that he'll end up paying this fine and the millions he owes to Carroll - and stiff his own lawyers....don't believe me, ask Rudy....

One wonders whether his lawyers deliberately fluff his case at the end since they know he's going to bail on paying them...

On the other hand, I think he is just so guilty and the evidence so overwhelming that a legal team of Perry Mason, Denny Crane and F. Lee Bailey couldn't get him an acquittal

Pay up, Loser...

8 ( +12 / -4 )

Oh boy, you’re going to need some evidence for that one.

Yeah, it’s called turn on your TV and open a paper in print or online.

Oh dear.

11 ( +15 / -4 )

—Oh boy, you’re going to need some evidence for that one.

Yeah, it’s called turn on your TV and open a paper in print or online.

Cool answer. I’m convinced. Illegal immigrants are pushing people and businesses out of NYC.

Can’t argue with that ingenious piece of well-supported logic.

13 ( +17 / -4 )

ROFL. Marches on? Whines and stamps his feet you mean.

We are human, Fani did, it’s normal.

He’s gotta pay.

He’s going to appeal

Who do you think he is, God?

No, but it is refreshing that the left apparently thinks so.

-20 ( +4 / -24 )

He’s not going to “just write a check” on this one.

civil asset forfeiture!

11 ( +14 / -3 )

Hop in losers. The trump train is goin losin!

11 ( +14 / -3 )

So the rapist insurrectionist is also legally a snake-oil salesman fraudster.

So much for the idea that he's a good businessman. He isn't even a good enough fraudster to not get caught, much less a good businessman.

12 ( +16 / -4 )

Whines and stamps his feet you mean.

We are human, Fani did

Yeah, she was awesome shooting down the Trump attorneys. It was wondrous to watch.

Anyone tired of all Trump's winning yet? Do you think Leticia James and E. Jean Carroll are?

14 ( +17 / -3 )

bass4funk

Lol, love this guy, he just marches on, speaking right now, he’s going to appeal, blowing this off saying back to the campaign trail.

He's got 30 days to come up with a bond, if he wants to appeal. That's going to be very difficult. Don't forget he also has come up with a bond for $83.2 million the E Jean Carrol appeal.

9 ( +13 / -4 )

Trump does not have $500 million in cash plus more than $100 million in legal fees. He'll have to sell a pig in a poke. (pawn off).

10 ( +15 / -5 )

He's got 30 days to come up with a bond, if he wants to appeal. That's going to be very difficult. Don't forget he also has come up with a bond for $83.2 million the E Jean Carrol appeal.

I wonder if he'll find a patsy to put up the bond for him. It's gotta be someone ready to lose $400 million when he doesn't pay them back after his appeals fail.

8 ( +12 / -4 )

Cool answer. I’m convinced. Illegal immigrants are pushing people and businesses out of NYC.

Yes.

Can’t argue with that ingenious piece of well-supported logic.

Agreed.

-19 ( +4 / -23 )

We are human, Fani did, it’s normal.

Fani Willis isn’t running for president. Nor is she a cult idol who can do no wrong in the eyes of the faithful.

Presidents should be held to higher standards than a 3-year-old.

12 ( +15 / -3 )

Strangerland

Whines and stamps his feet you mean.

We are human, Fani did

Yeah, she was awesome shooting down the Trump attorneys. It was wondrous to watch.

Yes, that's the opposite of whining, she pushed back is a forceful manor. Whining is weak. Fani was strong.

Anyone tired of all Trump's winning yet? Do you think Leticia James and E. Jean Carroll are?

Much more winning to come...

7 ( +9 / -2 )

Lol, love this guy, he just marches on, speaking right now, he’s going to appeal, blowing this off saying back to the campaign trail.

Let him appeal and sink more of his election campaign money. Either way, he's got to find the money first, even to appeal.

NYC like California are on its last leg,

Last legs? These two states have to subsidise the red states.

not all that surprised by these Democrats and Soros backed individual,

The Demonrats and the Hungarian Jew you mean.

personally, I think Trump should leave the city, he can make even more money in other states,

They'll be celebrating.

let NY fall in despair and decay, everyone is leaving, crime, lack of police officers, illegals pushing people and businesses out, food and living costs through the roof, why?

Only in your brain and in the fantasies spun on Fox News.

Why live and suffer in despair and filth, just leave.

A good reason not to move to one of those low income trees states which are dependent upon the blue states for handouts. Filth, despair and religious fanaticism are never far away.

Other than that, love how this guy is stoic and marches on.

'stoic:

a person who can endure pain or hardship without showing their feelings or complaining.'

Given how regularly Trump throws tantrums, that's the last word I'd use to describe him. I'm not sure he marches in any direction, either figuratively or literally.

12 ( +13 / -1 )

I think Trump should leave the city

So do the New Yorkers. It's a win-win.

14 ( +16 / -2 )

Busted and broken before too much longer and still facing possible prison time in other cases.

9 ( +13 / -4 )

Just one more step towards the complete decimation of the Republican party in November.

10 ( +13 / -3 )

bass4funk

This is not about Trump as a businessman, it’s all about him running and nothing more.

You may have a point. Because this case was brought from evidence that Michael Cohen brought up and suggested he be investigated after Trump threw Michael Cohen under the bus.

Moral of the story? Don't throw your fixers under the bus.

7 ( +10 / -3 )

’22 tax fraud- guilty, ‘23 sexual assault- guilty, ‘24 fraud- guilty. A plethora of charges still to be tried. Republicans sure know how to pick ‘em.

7 ( +10 / -3 )

While waiting for the outcome of this appeal, we can expect to see another appeal to all the chumps to pony up some more Trump change.

10 ( +12 / -2 )

The trial judge didn't understand the basic fundamentals of valuation.

Then that's on Trump for not bringing better experts who could explain it clearly enough.

Seems like a $350 million dollar error on his part.

14 ( +16 / -2 )

Goes both ways.

That's what MAGA people say. But just like Trump found reality doesn't care about his spin, so is MAGA. The law don't care about your delusion.

13 ( +16 / -3 )

Hey! Trump doesn't look so tough. It's about time he takes his medicine. That dude is full of lies and corruption that it's not even funny. I'm surprised he's still standing. Now, who in the world would want this grifter for the Office? There's some things you can't fix of his supporters.

7 ( +10 / -3 )

Trying to find an excuse for Trump is difficult today.

11 ( +16 / -5 )

He’ll put down $350 and then appeal the rest, no biggie.

He's got to put down $430m for the two cases. And then he can appeal them. That's more free cash than Trump has, so he needs to go and raise some money.

Or rather the Trump Organisation does, as he can't be part of it for the time being. I imagine Ivanka will run it. The $83m he has to raise personally.

7 ( +9 / -2 )

Nary an IQ point to be seen from the right today.

9 ( +13 / -4 )

Trump will have to pawn off the family silverware.

12 ( +15 / -3 )

But come 2028...

Yeah, and Ishtar was the greatest movie ever. Lol

Trying to find an excuse for Trump is difficult today.

Naw, no need.

-15 ( +4 / -19 )

Naw, no need.

You're right. All the speaking will be at the ballot box some november.

Not that he'll be "speaking" - convicted felons can't vote.

8 ( +11 / -3 )

Busted and broken before too much longer and still facing possible prison time in other cases.

Not even close, otherwise, he would have dropped out by now.

Trump will have to pawn off the family silverware.

More than likely not.

-15 ( +3 / -18 )

You may have a point. Because this case was brought from evidence that Michael Cohen brought up and suggested he be investigated after Trump threw Michael Cohen under the bus.

Moral of the story? Don't throw your fixers under the bus.

More like Never underestimate the deviltry of Democrat determination. But again, it’s NYC, not even a little surprised

You have been watching too much CNN.

7 ( +12 / -5 )

Moral of the story? Don't throw your fixers under the bus.

Not really, because the Democrats didn't have to pay $350 million, so no lesson was learned.

Only one lesson was learned today - Don was never a good businessman.

9 ( +10 / -1 )

I got an idea, how Trump could raise some money!

How about his "FansOnly" site?

But most definitely he would ruin that, too!

6 ( +7 / -1 )

Today, Trump is a loser. Better get used to it.

9 ( +12 / -3 )

And still marching on to the Oval Office despite the Dems tried attempts they throw at him.

Hey, you should have joined Trump’s parking garage attorney in arguing this defense. Trump only hires the best

Defiance goes a long way in opposing Marxist opposition.

Who are these “Marxists” of whom you speak?

10 ( +11 / -1 )

Not really, because the Democrats didn't have to pay $350 million, so no lesson was learned.

No, not yet. The Dems won’t be in power forever. Harry Reid laughed and in the end Trump laughed, and got out of it 3 Supreme Court Justices.

Only one lesson was learned today - Don was never a good businessman.

Not according to the banks and the real estate world in that city.

Today, Trump is a loser. Better get used to it.

Naw, when Trump says, I give up, then I will think so. Lol

-16 ( +1 / -17 )

Today, Trump is a loser.

He's been a loser since 2018. He just keeps on losing and losing and losing.

The only reason he pretends he's not losing, is because his dementia has set in far enough that he forgets about his losses.

13 ( +14 / -1 )

bass4funk

You may have a point. Because this case was brought from evidence that Michael Cohen brought up and suggested he be investigated after Trump threw Michael Cohen under the bus.

Well Michael Cohen was a registered Republican before Trump threw him under the bus.

8 ( +10 / -2 )

Harry Reid laughed

That's a $350 million dollar laugh!

9 ( +12 / -3 )

Don was never a good businessman.

Not according to the banks and the real estate world in that city.

Yeah, the people who got sucked in by his fraud. Losers.

Let's see how willing the banks are to give him loans now... Oh wait, they can't because he's not allowed to do business.

11 ( +14 / -3 )

Naw, when Trump says, I give up, then I will think so.

One doesn't have to give up to lose. And not acknowledging they are a loser, doesn't make them not a loser. E. Jean Caroll and the people of New York have proved that.

9 ( +11 / -2 )

Trump can be seen for what he is, a scammer.

10 ( +13 / -3 )

Make America Great Again!

yah, finally!

he sure did enable America to be greater to find out what a crook he is and how seriously distant his followers are from reality.

The cultish behavior to be incapable of criticizing their life ubiquitous love of their god. So pathetic the blinding of everything in their lives to throw away truth, patriotism and create poor souls who simply lie everyday for the rest of their lives.

Yes, it’s what MAGA has shown themselves to be, the humorous irony of thinking making their America great is legal charges and watching he and his cult blame everything but him and themselves. Because only those who lie all the time could possibly believe having full proof of his wrongdoings is untrue.

Liars ultimately never prosper, and Trump’s guilt is living MAGA for us. Nice that he turned the light on himself and allowed the courts to focus on his criminality.

Enlightenment by way of MAGA!

9 ( +12 / -3 )

Like there was ever any other result possible.

+3 more points in the polls and see ya in appeals court.

-18 ( +4 / -22 )

Blacklabel

Like there was ever any other result possible.

Yup. Justice is served.

+3 more points in the polls and see ya in appeals court.

Gotta come up with the money first.

13 ( +16 / -3 )

He’s running to solely to stay out of jail and get revenge on those who dare make him accountable for his crimes. The future of the US does not even begin to matter to the narcissistic sociopath- it’s just a shtick he uses to get the rubes to pay his legal fees.

11 ( +14 / -3 )

Like there was ever any other result possible.

That's correct. He had already committed the fraud, so unless he had figured out how to pay off the judge, there was no other result possible.

This is why your business plan shouldn't include fraud as a required step children.

+3 more points in the polls and see ya in appeals court.

Heh, someone believes the polls, and it will be fun to see Trump spend $350 million to appeal.

12 ( +15 / -3 )

The only thing any of you really care about it if this will prevent Trump from running and beating Biden.

It wont. So spare all the fake outrage.

-19 ( +4 / -23 )

Ruling will be reversed on appeal, Trump Org. did what EVERY real estate developer's done FOREVER, negotiate amount bank's willing to lend against property's underlying value, which is highly subjective and subject to risk. No damages were incurred by banks.

Seems likely Trump org. will also sue for reputational damages and election interference as well.

-11 ( +4 / -15 )

Like there was ever any other result possible.

+3 more points in the polls and see ya in appeals court

I look forward to you quoting polls when the adjudicated rapist is also a convicted felon.

9 ( +11 / -2 )

Ruling will be reversed on appeal,

The only people saying that are the same people who said he wouldn't lose in the first place.

So what makes these people think they are suddenly intelligent?

11 ( +14 / -3 )

Seems likely Trump org. will also sue for reputational damages and election interference as well.

It will be entertaining watching them get slapped with all the costs of the frivolous lawsuits afterwards. Like keeps happening...

10 ( +13 / -3 )

The only thing any of you really care about it if this will prevent Trump from running and beating Biden.

Note to future US criminals over 35. Pay $5,000 file to run for President and then say any civil or criminal charges are ‘election interference’.

11 ( +14 / -3 )

The fact is, this is far from over, and won't be resolved until after the 2024 election.

More free publicity for the Trump Political Machine!

-14 ( +1 / -15 )

This is great news. Squeeze him for every penny!

7 ( +10 / -3 )

One doesn't have to give up to lose.

Then you are not a loser by definition.

And not acknowledging they are a loser, doesn't make them not a loser. E. Jean Caroll and the people of New York have proved that.

No, they proved that in a blue state, they will win, as far as the rape is concerned even Anderson Cooper looked at her like she was out there.

-11 ( +2 / -13 )

Looks like this successful billionaire will need money from supporters yet again.

Expensive habit this MAGA thing.

7 ( +9 / -2 )

“This is a venial sin, not a mortal sin,” Engoron, a Democrat, wrote in a searing 92-page opinion. “They did not rob a bank at gunpoint. Donald Trump is not Bernard Madoff. Yet, defendants are incapable of admitting the error of their ways."

That reads like, if Trump had begged the mercy of the court and said he made mistakes, he probably would have got a much smaller fine. Trump's ego is very, very expensive.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

So spare all the fake outrage

Nothing fake about it. The people deserve a president who is not an unrepentant criminal.

Like there was ever any other result possible.

Absolutely correct- he admitted his crimes himself.

Trump Org. did what EVERY real estate developer's done FOREVER,

But but everybody does it! Try this defense next time you get caught for speeding.

The only thing any of you really care about it if will prevent Trump from running

I hope he does run- he’s a much weaker, compromised candidate than Haley- especially since he instructed his minions to refuse any action on the border problems to try to bolster his chances.

6 ( +8 / -2 )

HopeSpringsEternal

Ruling will be reversed on appeal,

Unlikely

Trump Org. did what EVERY real estate developer's done FOREVER, negotiate amount bank's willing to lend against property's underlying value, which is highly subjective and subject to risk. No damages were incurred by banks.

But everybody is doing it, isn't a defence. As I said before, the judge was willing to be lenient, but was greeted with abuse and as Engoron wrote: "Yet, defendants are incapable of admitting the error of their ways." So, really, Trump shouldn't have expected any mercy.

Seems likely Trump org. will also sue for reputational damages and election interference as well.

Good luck with that.

5 ( +7 / -2 )

He’s going to appeal

hes first got to cough up the money, as is normal in NY civil trials, along with EJ Carol verdict 83million,

means he has to put up 440 million before he can even appeal, if he loses they keep the money.

Trump campaign is now down to its last 27million with legal bills of about 10mil a month, you do the math.

Get this the criminal trials havent even started yet, March 25th is the first LOL

just remember maga a donation to Trump is a donation to EJ Caroll and the NY taxpayer.

6 ( +9 / -3 )

Well I have worked for several Wall Street banks, and I note that Deutsche Bank is a European bank.

That is all fine and good, but you don't work for them, not a representative, agent, or corporate staff, so again, I'll go with their statements.

I'd be interested in reading those statements considering they cut ties with Trump 3 years ago. Do you have a source?

Deutsche Bank became the latest large company to cut ties with Donald Trump, with the firm that has propped up the Trump Organization for two decades reportedly announcing it would no longer do business with the disgraced president.

https://www.theguardian.com/business/2021/jan/12/deutsche-bank-severs-ties-with-donald-trump

9 ( +11 / -2 )

It wont. So spare all the fake outrage.

I question the mental ability of anyone who thinks a guy that committed tax fraud to the toon of $350 million dollars should be president.

So spare all the fake outrage.

Awww... Looks like someone is upset. I for one am glad justice was served.

8 ( +9 / -1 )

Per the order, Trump org cannot get a loan from any bank with a NY presence - that's pretty much all of them. In addition, he and his sons are barred from doing business for three years, but the Trump org will be under supervision so assets cannot be transferred out of state. Trump tried to do that during the trial, but was caught.

Any new financing for businesses would have to be done under a different corporation in a different state, but the NY assets will be unreachable. If he does not post the fine or bond within 30 days, the assets will be forfeited.

The likelihood of winning an appeal is very low. Too many precedents and the trail was held and rulings made legally unimpeachable.

And, of course, this cannot be stayed, overturned or appealed to the US Supreme Court.

7 ( +10 / -3 )

Like there was ever any other result possible.

+3 more points in the polls and see ya in appeals court.

He has no case. He will lose his appeal.

And I look forward to you sharing the polls once the adjudicated sex-offender and adjudicated fraud is also a convicted felon.

5 ( +7 / -2 )

Trump isn't going to take this well and as the mounting cases weigh on him, he's going to start lashing out. And the GOP are going to bear the brunt of it.

8 ( +9 / -1 )

Banks made lots of money, never any issue payments, this case is the very definition of legal partisan warfare and corrupt judicial system. New York's going to be seeing lots of businesses hit the exits, already high taxes and crime, now more regulatory and legal risk.

Trump Org. will do well on $appeal, counterclaims for damages, legal fees, etc.

-12 ( +2 / -14 )

No it isn't

New York's going to be seeing lots of businesses hit the exits, already high taxes and crime, now more regulatory and legal risk.

Nope. They aren't. And especially not the banks.

Trump Org. will do well on $appeal, counterclaims for damages, legal fees, etc.

Dreams. They will lose.

9 ( +11 / -2 )

Womp Womp.

New York's going to be seeing lots of businesses hit the exits, already high taxes and crime, now more regulatory and legal risk.

Yeah, Trump businesses. But not so much “leaving” as “liquidated”.

Trump Org. will do well on $appeal, counterclaims for damages, legal fees, etc.

Yeah, go with that, lol.

Have another glass of fool-aide.

8 ( +9 / -1 )

There are serious legal analysts who say there's simply no precedent in NY for fraud charges against a business that has not caused damage to the public.

Hundreds of years NY legal precedent, so ground breaking for now...Trump org. EASILY wins on appeal with counterclaims for damages.

Wow. They certainly have egg on their face now!

Trump Org. will do well on $appeal, counterclaims for damages, legal fees, etc.

Linguistic nonsense. Counterclaims? Good grief.

Most here are unable to differentiate between their political views and the legal matter at hand.

Serious lawyers know this case will be over-turned, it's a slam dunk. Now if you hate Trump, that's NOT relevant to the legal merits!

Unlikely. Judge Engoron laid it out very clearly in his report that the charges aren't that serious, but that the defendant's inability to recognize the error of their ways was important in the verdict. The court needs to protect the integrity of the financial marketplace.

The only thing any of you really care about it if this will prevent Trump from running and beating Biden.

Wrong, I only care about, why the judge wasn't a little trumpy and added another zero or two. Trump followers would have gotten emotional and thought "he's almost like trump and from now on my favorite judge"' wouldn't they? He really missed an opportunity to become a MAGA favorite.

We don’t need the swamp to do that for us and as long as the left go after this guy, the stronger they’re making him.

actually not, there has been a number of polls that show the majority of reoub and dems voters would not vote for Trump if he has a criminal conviction. A recent poll shows Biden with a 6 point lead. criminal trials start next month

The left aren't going after him. His court appearances are of his own making.

The left aren't going after him.

And Shumer is a closet Republican.

His court appearances are of his own making.

No, with the dates and timing it’s about depleting him financially and keep him off the campaign trail.
