Sad to say, but it does seem like the Iraqis were better off with Saddam.

Hard to say if they are better off w/o saddam. I am not sure his death tolls were kept or even accurate. The people need dictatorship it seems though or divided chaos prevails. that goes for most of the ME region.

Suffice to say the American taxpayer was better off with Saddam. 3 trillion dollars off the deficit and no terrorist playground...
But what's done is done.
If the Iraqi's can't get it together more than 10 years on I'm not sure it's even fair to blame American foreign policy entirely at this point.
