We (the United States) have considerable influence on our neighbors. We generally don't need to invade them.

Really, why invade some central American neighbor, with banana plantations ? Much more better and economically effective to invade some country of Middle East, with rich oil fields...

Triplex.....Do you really believe that? Was it for oil? China no benefits. Is it for banana's? Could be but the local economy is better off than w/o.
