finance minister, who suggested that causing the starvation of Gaza's population of more than 2 million Palestinians “might be just and moral”

Isn't that current strategy in Gaza in doing genocide, still G7 countries support that plan by providing support in anyway they can.

Also their strategy to eliminate medical professional in Gaza, so people can't be saved.

Reported by me...lol... a week ago

Scoop !.

In the post military/fascist regime in modern Spain, a Spanish artist designed an inflatable punching bag, that sat on the floor, and returned in place after every punch , with an image of a Spanish Generalissimo on it .

Can I suggest similar for Smotrich ?

It's beyond ironic that some of the far-right in Israel mirror the same rhetoric and tactics that the Nazi butchers used against their fellow Jews in WW II...

The majority of Israelis are repelled and disgusted by these far-right nuts...

No they are not. They vote them in.

Western allies condemn Israeli finance minister's suggestion that starving Gaza might be justified

The finance minister is right.

Hamas is torturing the hostages. Babies, the elderly.

The occupiers of Gaza support Hamas and even the Hamas health ministry does not distinguish between Hamas and alleged civilians.

Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich is an extreme right-wing Zionist—the leader of the Religious Zionist Party.

The finance minister is right.

So you agree that it's justified and moral to starve a population? Yes or no?

All those university student and protesters were right! They understand that the Zionist Israeli government is the evil one in this conflict!

What the western allies are thinking, Israel has already starved the people of Gaza and has been doing it since last November attacking aid convoys and blocking over 2000 aid truck from entering Gaza, destroying water plants and supply systems plus killing aid workers.

The difference now is that the war criminal finance minister said it OUT LOUD and the allies decided to condemn him.

It's suppose to be secret and talked about.

As a citizen of the United States of America living in tge USA, I am barred from making any comment critical of Israel or of U S foreign policy regarding Israel.

In this ages old conflict between Jews and Moslems, Israel, even before it was created by the United Nations on May 14, 1948, started depopulating Palestine and will not stop until every single Palestinian is gone.

My country is the chief backer of the Jewish State of Israel due to internal political reasons in order to cater to a small and ever powerful religious minority.

The USA is the main apologist for Israel’s misguided policies.

Enough already!

"" “It’s not possible in today’s global reality to manage a war — no one will allow us to starve 2 million people, even though that might be just and moral until they return the hostages,” he said at a conference in support of Jewish settlements.""

The world is allowing the minister to do it and he knows it. Just look at the photo's of Skeletons like children laying on the streets of Gaza dehydrated and starved to death.

Kids are dying in their parents arms daily and no one can help. mothers are unable to breast feed their new born, families are watching each other die helplessly due to lack food and water.

This is not about the Hostages or Hamas, it is about killing as many Gazan's as possible then taking over the rest of Plaestine.

starvation of Gaza's population of more than 2 million Palestinians “might be just and moral”

This is who Biden White House supports and defends.

There is famine in Northern Gaza.

Zibala....why would Hamas torture babies ?

Why would they torture any hostages ?

More value in keeping hostages alive.

No released Israeli hostages have told of torture.

But released Palestinian hostages have.

Zibala....you do your side a disservice by fabrication in the same way Israel did with the many fake claims following Oct7.

This smotrich is seriousy human detritus! I can't believe the ICC hasn't issued arrest warrants for him! I doubt even the US would argue against this maniacs arrest!

This is who Biden White House supports and defends.

The Biden Administration supports Israel, not Smotrich.

"The Biden Administration supports Israel, not Smotrich."

Biden administration supports Netanyahu government which Smotrich is a part of.

Plastic, Smotrich is part of the Jewish conspiracy against Palestinians

You'd think that the footage of Israeli militants raping Palestinian hostages at one of Israel's torture centers would be enough to get any country that even pretends to supporting human rights, international law, or the Geneva Conventions to denounce the entire regime, but apparently not.

I suppose that refusing to denounce the crimes of the Israeli regime for decades makes it difficult to admit that it has committed another no matter how blatant and heinous it is

There is no evidence of this. He was elected to the Parliament. His racist views have been consistent.

Kipling probably right.

What other civilized western nation has elected reps. who say things like this ?

I cant think of any.

Maybe some tin pot dictator in Rwanda during the dark years.

Maybe Pol Pot in Cambodia.

And the response from Israeli Parliament has been.....crickets ....

Silence is assent in this case.

In the last General Election on the fifth attempt, Netanyahu's party was elected with just 23% of the vote.

The ongoing war sparked by Hamas' attack has plunged Gaza into a humanitarian catastrophe.

In addition to using civilians as human shields, Hamas is denying the Gaza settlers access to food, water and electricity.

“It’s not possible in today’s global reality to manage a war — no one will allow us to starve 2 million people, even though that might be just and moral until they return the hostages,”

Excellent point.

Israel defunct. Had a chance after WW2 but could only attack neighbours. Too stupid. Messed it up. Go off into the diaspora and forget about a homeland. Chance given, not taken.
