Gotta protect the brave, strong leader.

The White House's letter made clear his credentials could be threatened again. The officials said that at future press conferences, each reporter would be limited to a single question, with follow-up questions permitted at the discretion of the president or staff. It adds that "'Yielding the floor' includes ... physically surrendering the microphone to White House staff."
The letter said failure to abide by the rules "may result in suspension or revocation of the journalist's hard pass."
Seems pretty reasonable and fair to me.

"The Trump administration said Monday that it will fully restore CNN reporter Jim Acosta's White House credentials, but warned that he must follow a series of rules at future press conferences."
Now if we could get a rule that says that the question asked is actually answered.

Yes, that’s right.

Doesn't matter. The rules in courtrooms are totally different from those at press conferences.
bass4funk
No, rules are rules and if they are not followed then there should be consequences. The judge has the final say as well as the President.
Strangerland
Um, no, rules differ depending on the situation.
In my house we have a rule that there is no farting at the dinner table, or you don't get desert. I assure you this rule is not going to apply at government dinners.
So no, rules aren't rules. And as Simon stated, the rules of a courtroom are not the same as the rules in a press conference.
Strangerland
No, two parties cannot have the final say. One or neither of them may have it, but both of them definitely do not have it.
Wolfpack
Not anymore.

Trump should do everything in his power to get Acosta out of there. Acosta asks questions that makes Trump feel uncomfortable.
Trump should use whatever legal maneuvers possible to create a safe space.

Not concerning the President and his willingness or unwillingness to grant Acosta an Interview or even camera time, it all depends on his conduct and demeanor, if Trump decides to pull his pass again and issue him a daily pass, he can do that and that might be better actually.

Also Jim has to wear a Doraemon style propeller hat, right?
Alex Jones has a constitutional right to that press pass - he should be seated right next to Jim.
Jimizo
Perhaps Jones should be seated right next to Trump with Hannity on the other side. Trump is a fan of both.
Also, I’m sure infowars and those in its edit suite could be useful for future Whitehouse tweets attacking the fake news media.
bass4funk
Is that a crime?
If it works, why not? Considering what the msm put out everyday, it almost makes Jones look sane.
