Good for the president. He's sent more of these toads to hell than his hapless predecessor could manage with twenty divisions on the ground.

Next! Get #1 thru 200 and ISIS is in trouble.

Good for the president. He's sent more of these toads to hell than his hapless predecessor could manage with twenty divisions on the ground.

Probably because he was in office for 8 years just like other presidents before him. If presidents had 3 or 4 terms to serve, then maybe Bush wouldn't be allegedly hapless and at the same time, he wouldn't have made a joke of a treaty with Iran. It's all relevant.

Next! Get #1 thru 200 and ISIS is in trouble.

This will go on for a very long time, even when the Sainted anointed omnipotent one is loooong gone. But great news nonetheless.

Something wrong here.

The problem is NOT leadership in a "religious" "nation-building" war.

It is the "philosophy" and what it represents and what their objectives are as a group. Leadership is "dispensable" just as the any manager in any business. "Targeting" leadership is just a "distraction" by those who need to gain attention to keep matters and issues away from "reality". Bin Laden is a good example.

From my perspective, removing leadership is only a cover to "allow" the movement to "exist" by "blaming "individuals" rather than the "philosophy" and the "objective" of the movement.

It is "not" like WWI and WWII where "individuals" actually held power. This is "philosophy" that holds power. It is no different from what we labeled "communism", some years ago. It is a philosophical "movement".

This entire scenario indicates not individual military or political leadership but "religious" leadership that may be totally "hidden" from our current targets that are the "real" movers behind the the doers that we like to target and eliminate.

I read this as a religious war and not a political war.

"If presidents had 3 or 4 terms to serve, then maybe Bush wouldn't be allegedly hapless" - comments

There's a GOP-Tea line. ISIS leadership is spattered on the desert and the retort is Americans need more Bush.

That Obama is stealing AWOL's thunder. That is just too precious.

AWOL wasn't hapless, he was dead set on running the most expensive grab bag of military spending for his war based on lies and his buddies while he took more vacation time than Old Man Reagan. Someone must think America just needed more Bush, yeah, that sure tells the truth about that kind of thinking.

Hey, "The No. 2 leader of the Islamic State militant group was killed in a U.S. military airstrike in Iraq", cleaning up the mess AWOL made for Americans to clean up and pay for after he left office with the lowest approval rating of any President. Some here seem to argue that if only AWOL had more vacation time things would have gone better. Thanks, keen observation that.

"maybe Bush wouldn't be allegedly hapless "

Hapless? Bush is a complete moron...and that is confirmed.

"Hapless? Bush is a complete moron...and that is confirmed."

Amazing how if not for the "hapless" Bush and his father, Saddam Hussein or his sons would still be running Iraq and Kuwait.

^ What? If not for geriatric Bush, Saddam wouldn't have invaded Kuwait in the first place. Remember, he told Saddam that Kuwait was an internal Arab matter. And Bush Jr? I just remember that idiot's face in that kindergarten when 9/11 went down. Dumb and Dumber

So, if we are speculating here let me jump in.

If no UBL the world would be in peace. Finally global harmony.

Oh boy that was fun pretending.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Well known here in USA. UBL-Osama bin Laden. U may have been a military designation.

The speculations can fly, they are a waste of time. The current facts are the U.S. Military when leer item to do a job is very capable in whatever task is asked of them. If only they had a strong Commander in Cheif. ISIS would have been halted nearly two years ago.

Imagine how many lives would have been saved.

Haha! I laughed at this comment:

The speculations can fly, they are a waste of time.

Being followed by this one:

If only they had a strong Commander in Cheif. ISIS would have been halted nearly two years ago.

Contradict yourself much?

Opinion, not historical secular ion.SL

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Speculation is opinion.

Seriously, I actually laughed out loud when I read it.

Way to go USA!

Yawn. . . It's about time those airstrikes actually Hit something. Still need boots.

Next! Get #1 thru 200 and ISIS is in trouble.

Need lots boots. . . Don't see it happening soon. So let's start dropping bigger bombs.

Bush had seven years to get OBL and he did nothing. In fact as one point bush said OBL did not matter. He could have had 70 years and he still would not have found OBL. It took Obama, a real President, to find OBL and kill him. Bush was great at letting OBL attack the USA and also great at invading countries based on lies that resulted in killing more Americans than OBL did on 9-11. That is your bush legacy. Complete and total failure. If he did have three or four terms we would be involved in three or four more useless and failed wars and the economy would be in a massive depression.

@CrazyJoe

Good for the president. He's sent more of these toads to hell than his hapless predecessor could manage with twenty >divisions on the ground.

Let's not ignore the countless hapless civilians slain by drone strikes, which are used to a far greater extent by Obama than Bush Jr.

As kazetsukai suggests, killing the #2 or #3 or whoever doesn't really matter except for propaganda purposes. It does nothing to impair their willingness to continue operations because we aren't undermining their source of motivation.

First Focus is on the WHY are they (ISIS) able to "recruit" thousands of youths from all over the world to join and fight till death for a "cause" that benefit no one actually fighting and participating in the conflict.

Second Focus is on WHO is benefiting from all this.

Third Focus is WHO is FUNDING and HOW are they being funded. (WHO is actually "organizing" all this?)

Fourth Focus is on WHY to get WHAT RESULT.

If this is a religious and racial war...then..?

"Let's not ignore the countless hapless civilians slain by drone strikes"

Do you think Americans really care about civilian casualties? History proves that they don't

2 ( +2 / -0 )

What? If not for geriatric Bush, Saddam wouldn't have invaded Kuwait in the first place.

Gee, where is your proof of that. Please stay away from those progressive moonbat sites.

Remember, he told Saddam that Kuwait was an internal Arab matter.

So just turn our backs on an ally? Well, I know libs love nothing more than to run and hide, that's their typical mantra, but Bush (and rightfully) helped one of our closer allies in the region and good on him.

And Bush Jr? I just remember that idiot's face in that kindergarten when 9/11 went down. Dumb and Dumber

So, I guess he should have been smiling and snickering like when Obama thought he fooled everyone with the prisoner swap for that AWOL Bergdahl??? I see....

"Let's not ignore the countless hapless civilians slain by drone strikes"

Let's not ignore hundreds of jihadists dressing up as women, hiding and using innocent children as human shields.

Do you think Americans really care about civilian casualties? History proves that they don't

I think libs don't care about the truth and their emotional hatred of America is blinding them from the facts.

Bush had seven years to get OBL and he did nothing.

Obama had 6 years to do something about ISIS and what did he do, literally nothing.

In fact as one point bush said OBL did not matter.

So he said one thing and you think everyone, the CIA, the NSA and Homeland the intelligence community went on a break because of that and then resumed the mission once Obama got into office?? ROFL Listen the intelligence community doesn't file a folder until the case is closed, because the president only serves 2 terms and when these men are long gone, the CIA, NSA, Homeland will do what they do, continue their work regardless of who is in the office and who leaves.

He could have had 70 years and he still would not have found OBL.

Wow!! And you base that accusation on.....

It took Obama, a real President, to find OBL and kill him.

You mean SEAL TEAM 6 or to be more precise Robert O'Neill he gets the full credit, NOT the anointed one. The man can't even tell the difference between Corps and corpse and this is from the guy that claims he went to Harvard??? LOL

Bush was great at letting OBL attack the USA and also great at invading countries based on lies that resulted in killing more Americans than OBL did on 9-11.

Let me guess, you are a fan of Michael Moore's, right?

That is your bush legacy.

Don't worry, Obama's won't even be remembered except for destroying this country.

Complete and total failure.

Hmmmm....that's not what a lot of historians are saying now and by the way, Bush would never have been so stupid as to make the embarrassment of a deal Obama and Kerry did with the Iranians. In fact, they probably would have bypassed the deal altogether knowing that Bush wouldn't have capitulated.

If he did have three or four terms we would be involved in three or four more useless and failed wars and the economy would be in a massive depression.

Newsflash, did you know Obama will be out of office in 443 more days. I hope you are equally as ecstatic as I am!
