a teary-eyed Brown shouted, “I love you, Whitney!”

If he loved her he would not have assisted her slide into addiction, which ultimately appears to have been the cause of the decline in her vocal skills, and likely led to her death. RIP Whitney.

I hope Bobbi Kristina recovers.

This is so sad. I was never a fan, but it hurts to see a good family go through this.

She's already got drug and alcohol issues. Apple, tree... Whatever.

@japan girl Whitney is just probably wearing high heels. most young girls in the states, many women for that matter dont wear high heels as much as they do in japan, unless its a special occasion. But then again, Bobby Brown is pretty short. She may take after her father.

RIP Whitney and i pray Bobbi can get the support she needs at this time.

I'm just relieved she knows her father

Come off it - she doesn't have stress. She has bereavement.

And yet, despite what happened to her mother, her automatic response to life being less than perfect is to get someone to give her some medicine to take the pain away. Why do people insist on medicalising life's vicissitudes?

Its so unfortunate that another precious life was taken too soon bcuz of the ill effects of illegal drugs in our body. Its so saddening for the bereaved family.
