I do not like violence but what to do about pesky terrorists around the world???

Quote from article: "Brennan gave a landmark speech last month.... He argued such targets are not civilians, but akin to targeting Japanese or German commanders in World War II. "
Take out the officers. So, kind of like snipers, as in Stalingrad, but more hi-tech?

I fully support the practice. It's better than risking our soldiers. That said, I should probably shave to limit the risk of mistaken identity.

Better pay your taxes on time or else they'll send a drone over your house.
Perhaps it'll just hover there for one day as a warning.
If you still fail to pay up, well then it's zap time.

Take out the leaders, if possible without blood spill on American side seems like a very good practice.
"Killed by a robot guided by a guy playing with his joystick some 9000 km away" sounds like a very good epitaph.

A preposterous argument attempting to ride on American emotional attachment to the Second World War. Of course that attachment will blind many Americans to the truth of just how preposterous it is.
Whatever way one wants to imagine they are "akin", whether its to black hat wearing cowboys or Satan himself, they remain civilian criminal suspects and must be dealt with as such. Murdering suspects from the air is as cowardly as it is unethical as it is a very bad precedent. In fact, it hands people excellent and legitimate reasons to oppose the United States and join up with groups who do.

NeverSubmit may be more correct than he/she thinks. Recently Homeland Security bought enough hollow points for a seven year war that can only be used on US ground. ie on US citizens. These secret factional departments are a concern.

Disagree, if a person is part of an organized armed force they are no longer a civilian, they are a combatant.
